  1. Juan Thornhill always impresses me when I watch the Chiefs. Tough player. Frank Clark is great too. But otherwise their defense did not look great. They got lucky that Russ Wilson played at Nate Peterman level. Mahomes is so good he can keep them in games, but they might get torched by a great offense.
  2. Thuney may have had a serious injury today, and Kelce looked banged up. The Chiefs’ core may starting to weaken with age. Looks like Mahomes is carrying them. They barely beat Denver with Wilson playing truly terrible football, like Peterman level. Mac Jones won, barely, against a passing team down to their third QB. Tom Brady needed 400 yards and 3 long TDs to beat the Panthers by a score. Eagles have run into a rough patch ever since Hurts got hurt. No team in the NFL should scare the Bills. Let this be the year.
  3. All this football makes me feel the Bills are way better than a lot of posters give them credit for. Compared to every team I watched today, Buffalo is better, tougher, and more relentless.
  4. Chiefs look thin outside of Mahomes.
  5. This game is pissing me off. Refs are bailing Chiefs out. Plus side: they’re looking beatable though.
  6. Couldn’t agree more. I happen to think Buffalo will take the Bengals to the woodshed on Monday night. But I’m a Bills fan, not a professional commentator. There isn’t much balanced mature stuff anymore. Coverage from national journalists these days just screams “Look at me!”
  7. Thank you. My feeling is we come to play and win this game by two scores.
  8. I was there too. With my mom. We were bummed.
  9. My dad and I went to the fourth Super Bowl, at the Georgia Dome, the one we should have won but we were so fragile mentally that one fumble and things spun out of control. One of the saddest days I can remember. It was like 4000 for the two of us for whole package with flights. If we make it this year, I would seriously consider going to Arizona and hanging out with one of my best friends from high school in Buffalo who lives there now. Maybe we’d find a way to get to the game.
  10. Burrow likes to take tons of RB check downs and throw 15-20 yard 50/50 balls to Chase and Higgins. Buffalo will have to move quickly and tackle well, and focus on breaking up passes rather than picks or hard hits on WRs. Hold the runs and check downs to 5 yards or less, and break up the 50/50 pass attempts, and the Bengals will not move the ball. The Bills, by contrast, can beat you more different ways.
  11. Between me watching the Bills, and the eight-week-old screaming for milk every two hours nightly, we are real fun to have next door 🤣
  12. Nope! Work in the art world. And my better half is German. Got two little kids here. I think the State Department folks can reveal what they do, like the ambassador or cultural attaché. There are surely other people working here who can’t. PS @Italian Bills we had a great time in Bolzano! Beautiful town.
  13. This game is too important not to watch live. What I do: Game starts at 2:30am in Berlin. I set the alarm for 3:30am, turn on the projector and watch the first half, skipping all the commercials. This way, I catch up to the live broadcast by late in the third quarter and watch the fourth completely live, texting with family back in Buffalo.
  14. Feels like Dorsey started hot, got figured out, and is now diversifying his attack in time for the playoffs. Good arc.
  15. I would love love love to get that number one seed. We need it and more so it represents the next upward step of the Bills’ journey since 2018. Each year we have been better than the last (to me we were better last year than 2020, even if our record was worse—we had the Chiefs in the playoffs whereas the year before they were a level above). However, the Bills, Chiefs or Bengals can make it to the Super Bowl from any seeding position.
  16. Exactly why you cannot expect Tua to look out for his own best interests if it jeopardizes his performance on the field. The whole thing makes me sick for him and what has been done to him. I hope he can get help.
  17. Spoiled rich kid vibes. Or Tommy Brady two vibes.
  18. Not that it means anything, but I got a feeling Buffalo’s going to the Super Bowl (As the number one seed)
  19. Not saying the Bengals aren’t a strong team. But Buffalo is stronger by record, statistics, offensive and defensive rankings, has played a tougher schedule, and has a ton of respect around the league.
  20. A great road team, with a better record, the number one seed, with the best point differential, on a six game win streak… Buffalo being a slight favorite makes sense to me.
  21. Great summary of the stakes. I like the road to the Super Bowl Option 1: beat the Jags and Chiefs in Buffalo. Gotta win out!
  22. This is no trap game. Biggest upside to a game this season. This is what it all boils down to. Got a feeling Buffalo will come out locked in, play a complete three-phase game, and take the Bengals to the woodshed.
  23. I think this is right, and that this plan overrated his potential as a WR.
