That got me thinking. Jeff Skinner has never been in the playoffs. Prior to him leaving the Hurricanes, the last time Carolina made the playoffs was the 08-09 season. The year he moved to the Sabres, 18-19 season, The Hurricanes made the playoffs. Sabres are finally going to make the playoffs.

I've thought of that many times; Stanley Cup or Super Bowl. It would be an insane celebration, but I hope it would be a party and not like other cities with downtown fires and flipped-up cars. I don't know, though....there's a ton of pent-up frustration that will explode if the city ever gets a championship.

With the recent issues with Bass, the kicking game is now a concern. who knows, He might get dialed-in and we're good. Then again, he might not. The other thing, the entire secondary! As was mentioned in other posts, the CB depth is likely a problem and I think it will be a problem because I honestly Don't think Elam will get to the next level. He lags in zone coverage and was getting burned on several sideline routes last year. I think he lacks instincts and is slow to react to receiver breaks. And of course, losing Poyer/Hyde. But in reality, I'm now scared to death. If I combine all the posts from this entire thread, we're screwed!
