Negotiating over social media. 😒 Lame. What's his angle? Get his way or play victim if they cut/trade him?

The defense is missing a strong 1-tech that can be counted on to show up every week and free up Ed and cover for Tremain's unique skill set. That said, Bills will have to get CB settled before anything.

I'd be far more excited to see the interior OL bolstered than to acquire a receiver. I'd like to see 7 starting caliber OL on the roster- to include Bates. -
O line.

Born in '93 if I have it right. Great opportunity for him especially with Hyde/Poyer. -

If you're projected to go late round or UFA, you'll likely do whatever you're told if you think your combine performance can help you. -

I continue to lose interest in the NFL, but not necessarily in the actual game of football. The NFL and the media that covers it has become more and more about everything but the game. Hot takes, concussions, politics, who said what on twitter, activism, etc. I watch sports to get away from these things but that's increasingly difficult. The WGR/Bills radio does do a pretty good job of sticking to football compared to the national feed IMO.

Commercials suck. Overly serious or super safe. They detract from the momentum of the actual football game just as they always do. Their one use is a chance to re-beer, get pizza, etc.

The real crime is lumping in Coldplay and Maroon 5 in with The Who. That's like putting Will Smith in with Chuck D and Ice-T.

It's a show, not a concert. Thought the set was interesting. Like a house party in many rooms?

The epic amount of non football related stuff that was presented did nothing for me. The game feels like a sideshow. So be it.

...all this assuming Star isn't here.

Another poster made me aware of him. As much as people don't want yet another high draft pick spent on the DL, we really haven't spent one on the 1-Tech which is (to me) a different position than that of DE and Oliver's position. The Bills committed to the smaller 3-tech and MLB that struggles to disengage the opponent's OL, so they really have to firm this position up. I know the modern trend is to have your DTs be near the same pass rush threat as your DE's, but somebody has to own their real estate. Davis may not be a pass rusher, but I think he helps the pass rush indirectly. Were the Bills to shore up corner and/or interior OL with free agents, I'd be happy with this pick.

Signing just one stable free agent to improve either corner, C/G, WR, or 1-Tech DT will greatly simplify the draft picture. Not talking about reclamation projects, but known commodities. Would like a quality guard in free agency since the interior OL needs starting level talent from Game 1. Josh is lethal with a good O-line (protection) and all moves need to support this. Other positions can be drafted and worked in when ready. Agree. The old cliche points about kickers and punters not being real football players and not worth drafting have no merit. A good punter is a weapon and more is made and lost with a good punter than the backup scrub you usually get in Rds 6-7.

Buffalo Bills’ salary cap ramifications of cutting DT Star Lotulelei

Shame, because when he's motivated, he's a beast. Can't think of a more important position on the D (given Oliver's size/role and Edmund's "skillset") other than maybe corner 1. -

Decouple the shipping deal from all the rest. Prime shipping and Prime media. -
Drafting defensive ends doesn't address the 1 tech position. Separate positions. Separate issues

His short passing has gotten much better which considering he's usually ready to rifle it, a shorter touch pass is impressive in its way. If I had to nitpick on items to work on: 1) The arcing deep pass a la Jim Kelly. Jim threw a rainbow which had its advantages. Allen looks less confident floating those deeps passes. Still tends to overthrow. 2) Throwing in rhythm with fewer plays having to be extended ad libs and unplanned roll-outs. These are gold to watch, but I see plays take a while to develop. Maybe due to wanting the deep man too much or mostly reading far to near? Would love to see 3 step drops and quick slants with some RAC (pending the receiver to do it.) 3) Screen plays. Certainly far from being something Allen can fix himself, but we struggle here and it's a part of handling an aggressive D line. Bills haven't consistently run effective screens since.......?

If McDermott stepped in a few times I'm glad he did so.

All teams should be assigned a number between 1 and 100 as determined by random draw. No names.
