  1. Hopefully not Buffalo. 1st rounders are essential for cap control.
  2. They could have waited until 4/20 to announce the signing.
  3. ......nor did she talk Josh into switching agents.
  4. So I ask, Will Tre play by October, and if so, what is his performance ceiling this year - 90% of last year? Is drafting Jameson Williams worth the risk? Does he fully recover and do we need him playing early this year as much as next? With Diggs locked up, and a need for a good outside #2-3 WR, I'd say the Bills lean towards a WR who can play early this year rather than go with Williams for the future - especially with this appearing to be an "all in" year.
  5. ...and my running back.
  6. From the article, "features the Bills' logo made completely out of wings, and ranch, of course." Ranch? Really?
  7. Smokescreen. Bills know they have a hole at Corner. Not looking to draw additional attention.
  8. There was note of his father being Dr. Charles Rosen, famous spine surgeon who went to U Penn and his mother who went to Dartmouth and played lacrosse. Josh was UCLA of course and his political commentary was, to some, admirable. I think the negative blowback you mention was something continued to grow with time and coverage. Maybe I'd say his cocky draft night statement was the tipping point for his reputation.
  9. The media also fell in love with Rosen's apparent social pedigree and "intelligence".
  10. I don't draft a guard in the 1st round, but I don't hesitate to get one in both rounds 3 and 5.
  11. Do the Bills stand a better chance of getting three starters by trading up and ending up with (say) only 4 total picks or keeping all their picks and assuming the hit percentage is better with numbers? When you trade up, losing picks is a certainty. Knowing that the picks you move up for are worth it is far from certain. I'm in favor of whatever strategy gets more starters on rookie contracts.
  12. No, it's because the role of a modern defense is to have only a marginal role in the outcome of a game.
  13. Dan Price: When your team loses Russell Wilson and all you have left is shaming others on the disease that is social media.
  14. Ducasse, Bovine, and Mills were not who you would field to help your rookie QB. That Allen improved rather than implode that year was very impressive.
  15. It would much to assume that he'll start game 1, get full snaps, and run 17 games plus playoffs.
  16. If KC hits on the picks and Hill is blah in Miami, this new "pay the WR $$$$" movement stalls and balance is restored.
  17. If he didn't defy convention, who would read the article? Who was he intending for Hall to run behind?
  18. Bundling picks, trading up, and assuming all of your reduced number of picks will make the team seems as much hubris as logical. Other than maneuvering for a QB, I like using all the picks and getting those players into the Bills camp and culling them after you've worked with them through camp. Wouldn't you want to look at players extensively in your own system before eliminating them from consideration?
  19. I liked that they gave him some game reps last year in a heavy package. Valuable experience.
  20. ...so we can still draft a punter.
  21. Shows the importance of rookie contracts.
  22. The Manute Bol of linebackers
  23. ...and out-Robert Crafted Robert Craft by a good multiple?
  24. Bills need 6-7 starting caliber O linemen to prosper over a 17 game season plus playoffs.
