  1. Collinsworth still sucks. "He's (Josh) starting to figure out the game." "I feel like I'm watching Tom Brady". Then add a pathetic never-ending pre-scripted segment on Stafford's elbow while the game runs.
  2. This assumes the Rams fans are even paying attention. They're probably more focused on what flavor of seltzer to get.
  3. Agree. If I wanted skunky, I'd get Molson Golden.
  4. I'd say Poyer was saved by the culture more than he defined it. Additionally, his wife has argued salary on social media (something that indirectly reflects on Jordan). Poyer gets paid for his excellent play and less so because he's a Lorenzo Alexander or Kyle Williams. Still my favorite defensive player until I see someone overtake him. Probably the biggest hitter on D lb for lb.
  5. Dorsey won't do worse in his first game than Daboll did last year in his 4-wide, empty backfield palooza against Pittsburgh. I expect good things.
  6. Makes me wonder if the Bills will vary or evolve their defense this year or leave it as it has been. Primarily thinking about using 3 LBs and playing man coverage more.
  7. I follow the Tech players a little since a few friends went to VT. Didn't really get the Tenuta pick. Tommy Doyle had very high athleticism marks so you felt he had the ability to become a good player. Tenuta really only had size by my understanding.
  8. Asking a question here: Where does Reggie Gilliam fit into any TE role/depth? Is he at best just a duplicate in blocking for Howard and Sweeney or does he offer more?
  9. I didn't get that pick either. Size without athleticism.
  10. Sounds right. Punter basically ends up doing a standing split.
  11. Like Danny White of Dallas.
  12. Just watched the highlights. Nobody of note playing as you said. Team otherwise seemed flat. No striking difference between Keenum and Barkley.
  13. Tantrums are unbecoming in adult men.
  14. Baker looked decent in what I watched.
  15. Media loves this drama. Their interest in football continues to be secondary.
  16. Agree. Hot take: Daboll was comfortable running Josh to help his (Daboll's) career. Pegs/Beane want a 10+ year career out of Josh so less running and leaping. Nothing against Josh exploiting the obvious gaping holes.
  17. I like the Spector kid. Would be better if he spelled it Spectre.
  18. Do any of these guys who publicly call for a trade while calling out their own team ever come out ahead for doing so?
  19. Hazing has come a long way.
  20. Looking forward to seeing Terrel Bernard play and whether he has instincts and big play ability in the NFL.
  21. I remember that as having a good dose of 4-wide and empty backfield and not liking it. It was a game or two and that was reigned in.
  22. Mixed messages from society/govt. Smoking tobacco very bad. Smoking weed awesome - legalize it everywhere and celebrate. Drinking alcohol ?? People forfeiting employment because they can't pass a drug test. Contractors can't find help to show up for work without being high. A local concrete contractor talked about a "lost generation". Idle hands and a purposeless life beg for trouble. Re football, pain management will continue to be a part of the sport for pros. Nobody takes repeated shots from monsters of men without paying a price. I expect pain management will be aggressively addressed by the more functional teams.
  23. Re OP, I'd have stopped following the Bills until character was once again a priority.
  24. He's not trying to be Top 10, he's trying to be the best. Full commitment. A good lesson in what it takes to be a transformative figure. Glad he's our coach.
  25. Kelly had great accuracy on the deep arcing passes, slants, and short-area dumps to RBs. These resulted in Lofton/Beebe bombs, Reed RAC yards from being hit in stride, and smooth execution of screens to Thurman. I mention these as they have not been Allen's early career strong points. Kelly also very accurate threading the ball between defenders - more so anyway in his earlier years. Sometimes prone to missing the underneath coverage. Kelly a great "touch" passer IMO.
