  1. To me, this game is about the Bills offense and their offensive line. The other units for both teams are known commodities. Things that will make me cringe: Stubbornly sticking to 4 receiver and empty sets when they're not working. Bills' WR4 may be better than the coverage (playing the individual matchup), but the offense becomes predictable and you're leaving Knox and Moss on the sideline. Josh making back foot throws (even if he got away with it against Houston). Letting the ball get punched out of your arms. It's a no-brainer to do this to Josh and our backs at every chance.
  2. I think he was close a few times. Just a kid getting his first start.
  3. I'd like to see Spencer Brown, Dodson, and maybe a couple others get some snaps in this game.
  4. Poyer's run support and willingness to hit impresses me. I'd say he's a top 3 defender on this team along with Milano and White.
  5. I expect a McDermott/Frazier defense to perennially be good enough to win several games a year. Having the intermediate/long passing game as our primary team identity isn't that important to me on a weekly basis.
  6. I stream the Sal segments if nothing else.
  7. ...and if JJ Watt was in his prime it might be him. Mad respect for Donald though.
  8. Can't call him a god. I'm a fan, not a fanboy.
  9. Really happy to see the organization bring in Bruce for a day and show respect for a Bills great (Bills GOAT?).
  10. Are expectations different than predictions? My expectation (for the Bills) is that the run defense improves to the point where they are not inviting teams to run when games are close or the opponent is chewing clock. My prediction is that this will happen.
  11. I'm very happy with the team. I agree with the Steve Tasker point about simply playing better in the biggest games. Injuries are fate. Daboll being distracted I think is somewhat likely (but only conjecture). Remember that the Bills suggested a rule change to disallow other teams from approaching assistant coaches during a playoff run (or some such). Surely there was something there to initiate that.
  12. Josh just needs to be better in the playoffs - that's the only next step I need to see from him. Dabol needs to not entertain job offers during championship prep week. The rest of that segment was time I will never get back.
  13. No it is not time to trade Singletary. Moss needs to show his ankle is 100%. Breida needs to show he's productive in the Bill's offense and not just "fast". Singletary needs to show what he's bringing this year while in pads (he's entitled to being part of the "best man" competition). Then when you really know what you have, then and only then, do you make a favorable trade. Trade talk based on the promises of free agents, rookies, hype, .............meh.
  14. $19 million per year for Edmunds on a Bills team that relies on the passing offense to win games? Not seeing it. Depends on what he does this year. I'd rather have another Poyer if I'm paying that.
  15. 100 %. This is a coordinated action for sure. Mostly joking in that Josh will run out of throws to perfect.
  16. Now only the screen pass remains to be mastered.
  17. Hogwash. Cole is the best slot receiver hands down until he's unseated which I don't expect if he chooses to play. Speculation article.....
  18. Yea. Quinnen Williams ought to do it.
  19. Good post. I remember Thurman comparing favorably to Emmet in yards after contact while Dallas had arguably the better line.
  20. Cole is still our best slot option possibly short of Diggs which wouldn't happen. Tough. Gets open. Don't really care about the rest.
  21. If he only became a better blocker from this I would consider it time well spent.
  22. Moss had ankle surgery on January 20. Will be interesting to see how he gets worked back in.
