  1. Biggest difference may be about the RB. Thurman led the league in total yards for 4 years in a row. Team identity and fan buzz was very much centered on Thurman and the run game. He was a gem.
  2. An insane amount of future draft capital and not something I'd ever want the Bills to do. These are the picks that play on rookie contracts and keep you from having to dump your core starters.
  3. Not sure I see Brady as someone who could easily give honest praise for others. Have to see if he's a phony when he goes to the booth.
  4. What a miss to let him go. Maybe he was the wrong type of athlete for McDermott/Daboll.
  5. Agree. However, I'm wondering if Brown has a lingering back issue.
  6. See how he comes out of the bye week. Maybe a new attitude and new girlfriend. Get back to the basics of being a filthy rich NFL star.
  7. Jones helps make all the rest look good. Can redirects plays in addition to tying up two OL. Frees Edmunds up to not have to crowd and play straight on against the run or Poyer to have to take on a runner with a head of steam. Just my opinion. Miller is great so when he plays great it's not really that interesting. It's these guys that don't ever get their name mentioned that play lots of snaps at a consistently good level that are the most interesting to me.
  8. Speaking personally, this can happen.
  9. Jets didn't have to contend with Tennessee or KC and other than Buffalo, their remaining schedule isn't that difficult.
  10. Singletary and Milano/Miller.
  11. Little media and NFL push to celebrate defensive greatness in my opinion. No buzz like with the Steel Curtin, '85 Bears, Bermuda Triangle, etc. Probably doesn't sell or play well with the casual highlight loving fan. Anyone can digest a long pass or run and keep their dopamine flowing. Defensive stops? Not so much unless there is an interception or forced fumble involved. Plus, there is little promise you'll see the brutal head-hunting hits of the past.
  12. A 2nd and a 1st spent on RBs this year? No way.
  13. If you dilute your Jack and Coke too much it is no longer a Jack and Coke.
  14. Stream the daily Locked on Bills podcast and the Cover1 shows instead.
  15. I would expect that Miami game to have added a day or two to their normal recovery period.
  16. I'd take 2010 Tolbert for sure.
  17. I like Moss, but he's becoming the new Tolbert.
  18. Same with Eric Bieniemy. Guys not getting differentiation between themselves and their head coaches. Frazier would stand out more with the Chiefs and Bieniemy more with the Bills.
  19. Agree. Game seems to overwhelm him a bit but tough to say. Rookie.
  20. You're right. I misread your post.
  21. Mad, freaking out, scolding his coaches, etc........you know. He lost his composure.
  22. Seeing Peters flip out was awesome. That broken look on the Ravens' D when we ran the clock down was also solid. I don't care for Baltimore.
  23. Now that we can stop the run, we only have the heat as our enemy.
  24. Love the positive mention of DaQuon.
