  1. It's like when he doesn't feel the other team is a real threat, he feels free to "be who he is" and go for the big plays, and then he gets in trouble.
  2. I saw Tre in the tunnel at the Patriots MNF game hyping up the guys. Taron Johnson said on SiriusXM that Tre is involved in coaching Dane Jackson up.
  3. I think the better thing to say is we haven't looked like the best version of the Bills at home. The final scores mostly look fine, but getting there has been more of an adventure than it probably should have been in a number of cases.
  4. At home, I worry about the Bills overlooking opponents, getting too cute, wanting to put on a show, Allen being too amped up, etc. I haven't even mentioned the weather. On the road, I have none of these concerns, and you have the benefits of added focus and an underdog mentality. I feel much more comfortable with the Bills on the road. The proof is in the pudding. The pudding in this case are the stats AND the eye test showing Allen and the Bills are better on the road. For that first round game, I'd honestly prefer to play Indy in Indy, NE in NE, or Vegas in Vegas. It's not going to happen though. The Bills need to start approaching home games as if they are facing the adversity, because they are. Adversity in this case is the false comfort of a homefield advantage and the pressure of expectations. Fans are so indoctrinated into having the goal of home field that they can't see the forest for the trees. Once home field is secured, I believe the team and its fans take false comfort, like I said, which leads to focus issues. I continue to believe that this particular team's best path to the Super Bowl is on the road. If the Bills get eliminated at home and continue to not look like the best version of themselves at home in the future, you have to start asking what the underlying problem is, because most great teams seem to have their best games at home.
  5. The line might be a reflection of the fact that the Bengals have clinched the division and would just be playing for seeding. Maybe there's an inkling that they'll rest guys, given how crowded the AFC field is and how difficult it is to predict any matchups.
  6. Possibly the most uneventful interview in the history of interviews. Nothing to see here.
  7. It's in the thread title.
  8. Thank you and all who wished well (I'm not sure how to quote multiple posts). It seems like she is going to be OK.
  9. Up early taking my 5-yo daughter to the ER because she woke up unable to breathe. Waiting now. Go Bills Edit: After some breathing treatment we are back home monitoring her. They are not sure why her breathing closed up but think she will be OK.
  10. Those are definitely not Wingnutz. Not big enough I'm not sure. Davis might have gotten Bar-Bill separately or something, because another tweet from the Bills says the pictured wings are from Duff's: Edit: Confirmed that Davis did in fact get his separately from Reid Ferguson: I don't see any cajun honey butter BBQ though, and that's a problem
  11. This would be a terrible, terrible move. Barkley is all finesse and is always injured. Not a fit for the Bills at all.
  12. I wouldn't recommend making a fuss over trying to get beef on weck. It truly is not anything to write home about. I would recommend Buffalo pizza from Bocce Club or La Nova, and the cajun honey butter BBQ wings from Bar-Bill. You might want to order takeout from Bar-Bill unless you plan to be there in line for a table when the doors open. Definitely go to the Falls if they've never been. Don't plan anything for Sunday other than going to the game, and park in someone's yard away from the stadium lots so you can get out faster. I usually park about a mile away. If you need something else to do on Saturday and want some memorabilia, try the BFLO Store, Dave & Adam's, and the Walden Galleria.
  13. Dude, this is fake news. Tasker didn't make it. Real shame you posted this.
  14. Here's an interesting question. Would you rather have Roethlisberger since 2004 and no Allen now or Allen now? Because if we had gotten Roethlisberger, we probably never would have gotten Allen.
  15. No. The point is that he was talking about it being his final game at Heinz, but that won't be true if they win the division. Nothing to do with whether or not they are scary.
  16. Along with other moves: The timing of this is curious with 2 weeks left in season and Williams being a long-term practice squad player. I wonder if something happened. If it was just to make room on the PS, I would think they would release Proehl, the punter, or one of the recent emergency OL guys.
  17. Strange thing to say when they still have a reasonable shot at the division.
  18. Does anyone know what the certain other dish was?
  19. I hate this. Really bothers me.
  20. He didn't have to sign with the Jaguars; he chose to. Questionable move for sure.
  21. Las Vegas at Buffalo is now a very, very real possibility.
  22. If Miami wins its last two, it is overwhelmingly likely they are #6 and will travel to face #3 Bills. We should be rooting hard for that.
