KC not losing to DEN on Saturday. End of discussion

Burrow NOT playing Sunday - per Burrow
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oof. You can never predict this, but a Bengals loss likely means the Bills have to do IND + KC rather than NE + TEN to get to the Championship Game. I think I prefer the 4 spot for sure... -
They must have a hell of a cafeteria there in East Rutherford

Diggs - bonus for 6 more catches - extension ?
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't sign Diggs to an extension that pays him big money after 2023. Two more years of big money seems about right. He'll be 30 then. -
Josh Allen home/road splits
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is actually not pure speculation. Josh has talked about getting too amped up. -
WFT to have new name and logo on Feb. 2nd

The video explains why Redwolves is not an option -
On Locked On Bills today (start at 3:55 mark), Joe Marino shared Allen's road and home splits both for this year and his career overall. The differences are stark. 2021: Home: 60.8%, 6.22 YPA, 85.8 rating Road: 66.1%, 7.61 YPA, 99.4 rating Career: Home: 60.09%, 6.69 YPA, 86.2 rating Road: 64.61%, 7.47 YPA, 95.6 rating Marino concludes that Allen has been a better road quarterback than home quarterback and there appears to be something to this phenomenon. I continue to believe that Allen and the Bills are best suited to playing on the road in the playoffs. If they can get through that first home game, I'd rather see them on the road in future rounds.

Timed speed not the same as play speed. He looks visibly slow
-
Yeah, let's demonize him for the rest of his life because of one mistake. Harris isn't good. He's incredibly slow. He's not what the Bills need at all. Watching him try to gain the edge and make it to the endzone on that final play was painful.

Raiders scenarios are simple. As long as the Chiefs, Bills, and Raiders win, the Bills will play the Raiders if ONLY ONE of two things happen: Browns beat Bengals Dolphins beat Patriots

Josh - 16 games 2020 vs 2021 stats
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wonder why passer rating is not included here. It has dropped 15 points. -
It's like when he doesn't feel the other team is a real threat, he feels free to "be who he is" and go for the big plays, and then he gets in trouble.

Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the better thing to say is we haven't looked like the best version of the Bills at home. The final scores mostly look fine, but getting there has been more of an adventure than it probably should have been in a number of cases. -
Missing Out on Top Seed Was a Blessing in Disguise
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
At home, I worry about the Bills overlooking opponents, getting too cute, wanting to put on a show, Allen being too amped up, etc. I haven't even mentioned the weather. On the road, I have none of these concerns, and you have the benefits of added focus and an underdog mentality. I feel much more comfortable with the Bills on the road. The proof is in the pudding. The pudding in this case are the stats AND the eye test showing Allen and the Bills are better on the road. For that first round game, I'd honestly prefer to play Indy in Indy, NE in NE, or Vegas in Vegas. It's not going to happen though. The Bills need to start approaching home games as if they are facing the adversity, because they are. Adversity in this case is the false comfort of a homefield advantage and the pressure of expectations. Fans are so indoctrinated into having the goal of home field that they can't see the forest for the trees. Once home field is secured, I believe the team and its fans take false comfort, like I said, which leads to focus issues. I continue to believe that this particular team's best path to the Super Bowl is on the road. If the Bills get eliminated at home and continue to not look like the best version of themselves at home in the future, you have to start asking what the underlying problem is, because most great teams seem to have their best games at home.
