Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is too funny! It happened exactly like this. Chris Brown cuts out to go to a commercial and then says "We'll bring you some of his more notable comments." I'm dead 🤣🤣🤣 -
Do you want KC to cruise to the Super Bowl title?
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Chiefs are going to crush the Bengals. They almost did last time even when they weren't dialed in like they will be for a home conference championship game. The Bengals got very lucky in that earlier game. -
A popular Bills podcaster is claiming it is "fact, not speculation" that a squib kick was called and it was communicated to the entire special teams huddle except for Bass, who was practicing to the side. Also, the Bills played defense as if there were only 8 seconds left. You almost wonder if the defensive call was made prior to the kick and they didn't adjust. Had they squibbed, the defense they played would have been fine. It should be noted that the podcaster has not specified how he knows the "fact" of the squib call. Does he have a source in the building?

Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27

I have a strange feeling that One Bills Live won't actually carry the whole thing, and they'll take commercials and then later "bring us some of his more noteworthy comments." -
What does Allen work on this summer?
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Meatloaf63's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is an easy one. It's all mental. He needs to work on bringing to the "easy" games the same focus he brings to the big ones. If he can do that, the Bills might not lose. Ever. I believe Josh Allen has the potential to be the greatest quarterback in NFL history. Probably not the most accomplished (Brady), but the most dominant player at a given time. -
Article on CBS Producer from BUF-KC Game

I do. It's extremely frustrating. -
Trying to look at this realistically. The Bills will probably win the East every year for the foreseeable future, so at worst, they'll be in the same spot they were this year: at least one home playoff game. In the West, the Chiefs have to deal with the improving Chargers and plucky Raiders. And after they just set an NFL record by hosting their fourth consecutive AFC Championship Game, the law of averages suggests that's probably not going to happen for a fifth time in a row. In the South, I see a lot of meh. The Titans were flukes this year. In the North, those teams will continue beating each other up year after year. I don't think there's clear separation. The Bills' outlook for 2022 and probably beyond is very good. They really need to take advantage and actually get that 1 seed. If not, they'll still have at least one home playoff game and a chance to go on the road for the rest. With a top-2 QB, they'll have a shot every year for the foreseeable future.

Provide you(r) own Hot Take Monday [edit]
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
As my brothers were celebrating and cheering victory with 13 seconds left, I simply said, "Music City Miracle. Hail Murray." This was probably the best example ever of how I try to prepare myself and others for disappointment until the clock shows 0:00. Several people texted me congratulating me on the win, and I replied with the same thing. I don't know, honestly, if it's better to ride the high and then crash like so many here do, or if it's better to expect heartbreak like I do. But last night was a microcosm of my experience as a fan. -
Encounter with Chiefs fan following the game.
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall
A few Chiefs fans behaved similarly to me. It's an unbelievable lack of class and awareness. Just awful. ***** them, hard. -
What I really mean is I am extremely scared that we're going to look back at the end of Allen's Bills career, with no championships, and talk about 13 Seconds.

People speculating that McDermott did tell Bass to squib and somehow he didn't. The pain is just getting worse the longer it sits.

Honestly what do you do moving forward?
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don't overreact. This team should have had the 1 seed with more focus during the regular season. You were 13 seconds away from having it anyway. You fine tune and treat each game like a playoff game next year. Get the 1 seed. Try again. But yeah, I'm scared. -
I haven't cried like this in a long, long time. I think this was the year. I think we blew it.

The Bills have never had an opportunity like this in my memory. If they're not going to do it now, when exactly are they going to do it? When will the team be better? When will the stars align with the teams remaining? If not now, when? It's time to bring it home. Their preseason goal was to host the AFC Championship Game. Well, it's right in front of them now. They will pass or fail on their goal tonight.

I am considering changing my pick to the Chiefs, because how often has a team gone into the stadium of one of the best teams in the NFL and won twice in a year? If the Bills win, it would have to be almost unprecedented. Can they win at Arrowhead TWICE in one year?
