  1. Ohhh you said bad words about Beane’s drafting, you are in troubbbble! Personally, I couldn’t agree more, lots of suspect picks. No way Harry is getting that much, he’s a low end replacement. He’ll be lucky to get 3.5 a year. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him back at vet min for 1 year.
  2. Makes entirely too much sense to me, he would be perfect for them and vise versa.
  3. Man has he ever shown a downright fear to make a change mid-year.. I agree, I think Bease is falling off some, but we’ll see.
  4. Anybody that questions a guy taking an active roster spot, regardless of with what team is nuts. Any chance to increase that paycheck and possibly put something on film in a real game is far more valuable than hoping it MIGHT workout if you stick it out with the current team. Worst case scenario, if you have made a good impression you probably will get another shot with the old club in TC next year, or best case, you impress and get a real contract. Not that it was a great audition, but like how it worked for Fromm, from no chance to play to starting in a couple weeks. He blew it, but that could have been his big break. If he had performed, he would likely have gotten to start the rest of the year and earned a decent deal for next year as a back-up or possibly a starter battle.
  5. Assuming Davis is healthy, he should be starting and getting the lion’s share of the snaps over the aging prophet. Beasley will get his spot back, he’s the vet, he’s shown for years he has what it takes to win on a consistent basis, but I sure hope McK keeps getting snaps, he’s not Tyreek Hill, but he sure does make the D have to be more aware when he’s out there, especially when he’s in motion pre-snap. I’d like to see them run some Jet Sweeps with him and have Allen peeling off the other direction, always give the ball to him, save the Allen keeper for the playoffs. Maybe use it to set up a flea flicker later as well. If McK has it in him to throw, I’d like to see him in the sweep and throw one down field, again, put the fear in the coordinators going forward, slow down the reaction speeds a little as we get close to critical games. It’s a great time to do it, if there is a mistake they SHOULD overcome it against the 2 bad teams left on the schedule. The other thing that could be fun is to have him and Bease run parallel mirrored routes underneath the LBs and have them split at the top of the route, one coming under one going over or out and force the D to read who’s going where, worst case the TE should be open if the D finds both of them. Anyway, point of story, I hope he’s not the Christmas toy that’s lost in the closet by New Years.
  6. Gotta love guys that are so valuable you can’t play them. If he’s good enough to be on the field then he belongs on the field, that’s like playing Turbiski all year because you want to save Allen for when you really need him. I’m not giving this staff the benefit of the doubt on personnel, they have proven not to deserve that, more than once.
  7. Used a first on Diggs, that has to count or we would have a 1st round WR on the team ( probably the guy that got taken with our pick, who is outplaying Diggs no less).
  8. I would disagree, you saw what happens to a team when the other isn’t afraid of a pass, it takes a miracle to score. If they all lost their starters right now, it’s STILL KC, then Buffalo (thanks to MT being a decent BU), then I think it jumps to Miami, and Baltimore if they make it in. You have to look at who would be in and how much they rely on QBs, KC has had success with a back up, Buffalo has MT who is a borderline starter, the Fins don’t rely on the QB and have arguably the best BU in football, and the kid in Baltimore looks pretty good so far, plus they are a run centric team. Indy is going to complete inexperience, no good. The Pats should not be forgot as they haven’t really forced the QB to do much all year anyway.
  9. I’m hoping it’s a case where they are getting hot at the right time. They found it for a good stretch last year, would be nice if this one came for the playoffs, not starting to die in the playoffs.
  10. Let’s be straight, they have a rookie QB and a system built for him to not be exposed much. The Bills have an elite QB and a questionable system with a complete trash O-Line in front of him. Sometimes, their system will win, most times, we are going to kick their balls in. The National Media was ALL over Allen’s nuts last year, now it’s going to swing back if he keeps playing like this, you will here about the “ProBowl Snub” giving him the “motivation” to win. The reality is, he’s been over motivated all year, he FINALLY, took what was there and got rid of the ball. I do t know if that’s him or Daboll or both, but if he does that, the team is much harder to defend. His running lanes will be wide open, his deep shots will open up and some of those short throws will end in chunk plays, not to mention the play action game will open up and the run game will improve, also the OL will appear better simply bc they do t have to block for so long. He and Maholmes are one in the same really, if they take the easy stuff, the crazy ***** is a great bonus, if they force it all the time, they are going to struggle.
  11. Mods, I’m pre-removing a reply to this for you, but he had best be getting the same warning I would.
  12. Yeah, let’s see if the softest big receiver ever can keep up a few more years. This he’s a fringe at best HOF type, a few years of top 10 production does not A HOF career make.
  13. Gronk passed his prime, Evans is a fringe HOF player at best and no freaking way anybody else is in the conversation.
  14. Surprised they didn’t just have the punter drop kick if needed, wasn’t a real issue yesterday, they needed TDs. What that team needs is a QB, Cam is done.
  15. Said it before, gonna say it again, as if this moment in time, Davis is our best WR. I know full well he’s benefiting from the attention to Diggs, but he’s flat out producing, if he comes off the field for any reason other than catching his breath, the decision maker should be beat with a switch.
  16. I’m more concerned with the fact he doesn’t appear to be able to track a ball, he missed the TD vs NE, had the ball almost hit him in the hip down the seem vs TB and never even looked for the ball in OT, when it was going to him. He’s not the same guy as last year, he’s turned to trying to get calls instead of catching the ball. It’s like the whole damn team has gone soft and he’s the leader of it. The only guys I see playing with the same heart are Allen, Davis and I think Knox, but He’s harder to tell bc he lacks hands/focus in the first place haha.
  17. I’m going to say it again, something is off w Diggs right now, don’t know what, but he is not the same guy we saw last year. Oh and Davis is the best WR we have right now.
  18. Diggs is off this year, I don’t know why, but the guy caught everything last year, battled hard, this year, specifically the last 3 games, he has looked awful. He’s not going after balls, he got hit in the arm on a perfect bomb, he didn’t even get his head around on the OT play that ended our chances. I don’t know what the deal is, but he’s not there this year.
  19. Those numbers don’t tell the whole truth, what is the PERCENTAGE of throws vs runs and how does that compare? 1 pass can cover 50 yards where other teams may pass 7 times to cover that.
  20. Oliver has had the most impact of anybody on the DL this year, followed by some flash plays by Addison and Groot is playing very solid ball, doing a great job on containment and shedding, but his lack of pass rush moves is holding hime back. The sad part is, the line still gets zero pressure by itself, Brady had all day aside from blitz’s. Oliver has not lived up to his draft status and if McClappy is going to insist on rotating everyone, he’s never going to, so there’s no point in picking up his option, he’s nothing more than a rotational player, due in large part to his coach’s stupidity.
  21. He never goes down hill, there was another play yesterday with a swing pass I believe, the receiver is wrapped up and he just needs to go finish the job. He runs over then stutter steps and goes in high, allowing more yards, a real LB would have leveled the guy and kept him in place or potentially knocked the ball loose. Had that been Poyer, they may have had to bring the cart out for the poor SOB, but not the amazing 6’ 5” 250lb butterfly we have, oh no, he had to flutter and manage to get hit by a guy who was stopped. He is an athlete, he’s not a football player. People need to realize the difference. Tom Brady is the classic example of a football player who is a below NFL average athlete, dude is the GOAT. Edmunds is one of the biggest freak athletes in the game, but one of the least valuable players on his own team. Beane already blew it and gave the guy 3x what he is worth, guaranteed for next year so we’ll watch this same ***** show again in 2022.
  22. Sounds about right. I’d really like the opportunity to ask the players, mostly Allen, Diggs, Hyde, what they really think of this coaching staff. To me, the team looks like they see what we see and don’t want to do it anymore.
  23. At this very moment he is THE BEST WR on the team. Diggs is OFF, don’t know what the deal is, but he isn’t even tracking balls the last 2 games, Beasley is a good slot guy, but offers next to nothing in big play potential and Sanders hasn’t been a real threat. Davis has the size, speed and effort all going for him and he’s out performing everyone else when given the opportunity.
