  1. I have been saying for a couple seasons now, McDermott is a good solid leader, but I don’t think he really has what it takes to be a great coach in the NFL. Personally, I think he’s worried about being liked too much, should’ve fired Frazier, when he had to take over calling the plays during the game. It’s obvious he’s not happy with the O right now, yet nothing is changing, at the end of the day, it’s all on him. So do we believe that he is going to change, or is Time to see somebody that can actually put it all together? I know Sean McVay’s do not grow on trees, but that’s the type of personality we need here. Unfortunately, I would believe that he is safe, but I don’t believe that he should be.
  2. You do realize Wentz salary cap hit is 2x what Allen’s is, right? That’s GOT to be the worst excuse I’ve ever heard.
  3. you think this team would have more than 2 wins if MT was playing QB? I don’t.
  4. It’s the coaching, plain and simple. They refuse to bend when it’s obvious they don’t have the personnel to do it their preferred way. I’m cool with them losing out this year and hopefully getting at least the coordinators fired.
  5. I agree completely, the rotation is stupid, time and time again we give up big plays in key moments because we couldn’t possibly leave the best players on the field.. infuriating.
  6. Groot is playing well, not upset with that pick, but Basham was a wasted pick, along with AJE last year.. oh and Oliver, Beane has been pretty awful in the draft if we are being honest.
  7. Doesn’t matter anymore, this team is not in the race for a 1 seed, they will be lucky to make the playoffs.
  8. So many in denial, maybe after Sunday you will realize the entire season is pinned on Spencer Brown, who wasn’t planned to ever see the field. Beane blew it and the homers just keep on lapping it up.
  9. Ryan is hearing footsteps, rightfully so, but he’s done. The sack to kill the FG and then he looked around looking for a reason to be tackled on the last play. I’d just cut bait, be done with it. He’s a mildly better Goff.
  10. What’s amazing, is he is literally the key to this team not imploding. Beane has a lot to be proud of.
  11. At least he would catch fire when run over and cause people to have to go around him. I’m not going to watch this week, I can’t stand to admit the end of the season already.
  12. He would be a decent third down back if he could catch, the reality is Beane loves to do the exact opposite of his usual strategy of drafting the best athletes when it comes to RB. These guys aren’t gifted enough to be anything more than a replacement in the NFL. Breida had great speed, but has never done anything, he looked like the best back by a mile last week, that says all you need to know.
  13. 1) they have had a bye week 2) the offenses they have played have been as putrid as it gets in the NFL vs almost every team. 3) they are good, not nearly as dominant as the stats say they are.
  14. I said it in the pre-season, the Pats built a team to beat the new league. Everybody has gotten small and quick, they intend to bulldoze you. Now that Mac is up and running decently, they are doing it. They have a very legitimate shot at winning the division, compliments of the Bills tripping over their own *****. They are actually constructed perfectly to give the Bills D fits, they take the short routes and TEs are their best weapons and they can cram the ball down your throat. They also have a real good D that gets pressure, it’s sure as hell no guarantee the Bills beat them.
  15. It proved the Bills are a far superior team to the worst team in the NFL. They were also coming off getting their ass kicked by the 2nd worst team in the NFL, so to me, no it proved absolutely nothing. go beat a team with a winning record.
  16. I’ll be honest, if they don’t have direct contact with everyone on that list and then some, Beane sucks. There has to be a realization this team is one injury away from being out of the playoffs and that guy is currently hurt, which let Ford back on the field. They blew it this off season, time to fix it now.
  17. I honestly think he was just holding on for dear life. Easier to hold the leg closer to your body, hence the roll to it, i think it would have been a hell of a lot more violent if it was trying to hurt him.
  18. If Ford is on the field to start the game this week, I’m just going to go do something else, I can’t endanger my TV like that again.
  19. Yeah, I agree completely. Diggs is not a game breaker, nobody fears him. He can get open and make catches, but he doesn’t strike fear in you like a Hill, etc. He’s not physically scary. Last year he got a load of catches, but his average was pathetic as a “game changer”.
  20. I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to OBJ, I hate him, but he’s somebody the Defense has to respect. You can’t double everyone, so pick your poison w OBJ, Diggs, Sanders, Beas, and hopefully Knox getting back soon. If you can’t run, ya damn well better figure out how to pass.
  21. I think the lack of McKenzie is puzzling too, the offense is boring AF since last year. They aren’t forcing teams to worry about anything other than an Allen run.
  22. While I understand the Lewis not winning in the playoffs thought, the comparison is really this; good enough to be a “contender” every year and always finding themselves coming up short. Yet he’s so likable and so much better than you were used to, that just being “good” becomes good enough. This has been my worry about McD from day one. He’s likable, he got the team going the right direction, but I don’t think it’s particularly his genius that’s doing it. First year he took a pretty good roster and got a couple extra wins out of it, got to the wildcard, ok. Next year they have a horrible plan and suck, then waste the 1st round pick for his D. Next year Allen breaks out and carried them to a good year, hit the playoffs and struggled to a couple wins, where again Allen had to be a monster for it to happen, they got out coached in both of those wins. Then KC DESTROYED them. If we want to be honest, if we were still playing in the real TB12 /NE era, this team may not have made the playoffs under McD yet and we might well be calling for his head right now. Thankfully, the East has been almost a guaranteed 5-6 wins a year, but that’s about to change. The Pats aren’t a pushover, the Jets have shown they can surprise you if you are sleeping on them and the Phins aren’t that bad, but the culture there is so screwed up, they have to make a change and they will be back to a decent team too. I’d love to be wrong, but I think McD is as over rated as it gets and has relied completely on his coordinators to run games. Frazier is back to playing soft and no blitzes, it’s allowing teams to have it too easy. Daboll looks like his first year all over again and what has gotten him fired everywhere he’s been. I truly believe the coordinators should be replaced. McD is a good leader and for that, I think he could potentially be ok as the HC, but if he can’t clean up the in game mental mistakes, he may need to go too. If he can’t get the team “Up” for these games, he’s really gotta go. This week was inexcusable all the way around.
  23. I think there is something off this year, they haven’t been “UP” for anything since KC. I think the hype got to the team honestly. The real issue is, this team isn’t full of super stars, it’s mostly over achievers, so when they aren’t playing with their hair on fire, they aren’t going to win. There really aren’t any great players on the team outside of Allen and Diggs (who is a fringe “great” player). There’s some good players like White, Hyde, Poyer, Dawkins, Sanders, Beasley, Hughes, etc, the rest are pretty much replacement or slightly better level. We could rehash the fact the coaching has been borderline awful in more than half the games this year, but I’ll leave that to the pitchfork mob when they lose another game to stupidity. IMO, this is exactly what you get with a mid-tier coaching staff, without Allen, this team is essentially the Jets. I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I don’t think McD is the coach you can count on to actually win a championship. He’s a lunch pail guy, but I don’t see genius. He’s done a good job at getting the ship going in the right direction, but we are staring at Marv Lewis 2.0
  24. I will withhold judgement, but the way they have played the last 3 weeks, I’m not sure they will make the playoffs. The Pats could easily take the East and there’s a lot of teams right around the same record that will be in a dog fight for the wildcard. If the Bills don’t win the East, which is no guarantee, now that you lost/ got dominated by the worst team in football, I don’t know if they get in.
