  1. Maybe they can leave him in Buffalo? Upgrade over Yeldon, would provide great depth at RB, considering Gore’s age and Singletary already suffering a soft tissue injury that cost him weeks, he likely sees a decent volume at some point, I would inquire if I were Beane.
  2. Then they wouldn’t be in the league, period. They would’ve been in the XFL draft last night. You’re discrediting just how hard it is to make it on any 53 man roster and how talented an individual must be to simply play in the NFL. Love the internet snark btw, super cool...
  3. People acting like the Dolphins aren’t still 53 players capable of competing at the NFL level, with a QB who knows exactly what to expect playing at the Ralph... I think the point spread is crazy when you look at Buffalo’s avg margin of victory against bad teams. They don’t need John Brown? Maybe, maybe not but acting all overly confident that they’ll pull of the win with a dinosaur at RB and no #1 WR is kind of ignorant, this is the NFL, any given Sunday. Especially when you’ve been squeaking out close wins against bad teams...
  4. No that was the very poorly planned AAF. McMahon and his team have really got their ducks in a row this go around for the XFL, in my opinion. TV deals, and they are properly financed. He also has a terrible track record of any non-WWE business operation, but if XFL fails this time, it’s not for lack of effort on his part.
  5. I’ve said repeatedly that Vince and the XFL’s only chance is to indeed go after the blue chip, 4-5 star recruits and offer them guaranteed money since the NCAA isn’t trying to pony up. $250K per year versus playing a few years at a college that you don’t intend to graduate from and isn’t paying you a dime? Luck can’t come out and say as much because it would be seen as drawing a line in the sand and going to war with the NCAA, but there’s no way Vince isn’t looking at that this as his edge in legitimizing his league. Especially with all the controversy over the last couple years about whether or not college athletes should be compensated monetarily. If they don’t go this route they are destined to repeat the same fate as before because nobody wants to see a bunch of guys that weren’t good enough to crack the final 53 anywhere in the NFL, but you start getting some legitimate Heisman calibre players, early round NFL prospects and suddenly the league is worth watching.
  6. Yeah, I hear this is exactly what women have been waiting for- to be chased around by overgrown men with Russian Olympic team levels of testosterone, who are getting paid millions to grope them in a full contact sport. Sounds more like MeToo Hand Touch.
  7. Fixed it... I imagine Fitz will be there as well next season on his tour of the league
  8. Losman, Trent, McCarron, Peterman, EJ, now Zay... when the Bills flush, does it just go to Oakland?
  9. Considering he contributes nothing to the roster, I would’ve taken a 5th in 3051...
  10. Keeper with MORE than a yard, foh with that Daboll...
  11. Has Singletary still not practiced fully since the injury?
  12. What’s worse is the amount of people with apparently nothing better to do than pollute the web with fabricated nonsense.
  13. Diggs instantly bolsters the passing game. Allen has made some questionable decisions, but that doesn’t change the fact that he has a very limited number of weapons at the skill positions to work with. I really hope they can get this done, it’s the perfect time in the season to make a move like this with the bye week on the horizon.
  14. Who he is now? He just threw 3 picks and cost the team a huge game? Where is he? After that shot he took yesterday, I’m sure he’d like to know as well. Try to stop acting like a kid with 13TD passes to 18 Ints is a sure thing at the hardest position to play in sports.
  15. EJ Manuel- First 15 games attempts- 437 completions- 256 -58.4% 16TD 12Int 2810 passing yards 6.4 YPA Josh Allen- First 16 games attempts- 451 completions- 248 -55% 13TD 18Int 2977 passing yds 6.6 YPA They invested a great deal of assets into Josh, and it’s different ownership/regime, so I get why he’s going to be given a real chance to succeed unlike EJ ever was. However, I think it’s a legitimate question to ask, how long should he be given to develop while a super bowl caliber defense is held back by a developing quarterback? What happens if week 16 rolls around and we are still getting a bunch of “good josh/bad josh”? If he doesn’t start working out the kinks, is a 1st round QB back on the table?
  16. I agree with taking the points, especially with your backup QB just coming into the game, points are still a big plus in the right column against that defense. Like you said, Bills defense was absolutely lights out, trust them to keep shutting down the Pats and get the ball back in decent field position with a chance for a tie or lead. Timeout management/bad challenges were infuriating to watch. To still be within striking distance after all the negative plays this offense/special teams made is really astounding. This defense should lead this team to the playoffs so long as the offense can get out of it’s own way.
  17. I trust Beane won’t stand pat with the WR situation as is. This team just showed the world it can suffocate the offense favored to win the Super Bowl. Time to up shop the block and see who’s available, and yes, maybe call up Duke. The only real threats on the field are Brown and Knox... Josh clearly needs better than average skill position players at this point in his career. but no need to get all dark with it, as a whole this is the best team in a long time, on pace for a 12-4 season, if our QB can get his head on straight (too soon?)
  18. If AJ Green or any other legit 1/2 WR is available, Beane needs to make the move and get them here ASAP. This team is too good to waste with this current group of skill players, needs better WRs. It’s John Brown and then, basically nothing behind him.
  19. Yeah, it would be nice if Beane got us a couple more skill players. I realize you can only do so much in one off season, but WR needs to be a priority moving forward. Josh needs weapons, John Brown and Knox are a good start but not nearly enough to compete. The rest of the WRs and TEs are JAGs.
  20. I normally don’t complain about the refs bc they suck in just about every game, but that facemask was directly in view of the referee, his helmet turned, how is that not called? If if it wasn’t for fantasy football I wouldn’t even watch, this product is garbage with every close game being determined by terrible officiating.
  21. McNabb? Stats with Eagles 11 seasons 92-49-1 Almost 33K yards passing 2200+ Rushing 216 TDs 100 Ints + 28 rushing TDs 22 game winning drives 6 Pro bowls 1 Super Bowl appearance
  22. Play physical, close to the LOS, bring pressure while taking away the short/intermediate routes and exploit their weakness on the OL. Like you said about Edelman, if he plays, they need to make him wish he took a week off. Clean but big hits. Dare them to go deep, if the OL holds up and Brady’s arm can get it there so be it, but I like this defense’s odds of getting pressure against a unit featuring Marshall Newhouse on the blind side. On offense, take some shots deep early, hoping it jumpstarts the offense, and at the very least keeps the defense honest. Lots of play action & rollouts early. I don’t want Josh sitting in the pocket wholeness Bellicheck throws the house at him. Keep Josh moving around, keep the defense guessing. Lots of motion and misdirection, PA, rollouts with more deepstuff. Also cross our fingers Singletary is back, Josh would use a dangerous checkdown this week as well.
  23. Marshall Newhouse is protecting the Goat’s backside... the same Marshall Newhouse Buffalo traded last year to Carolina for a “late round conditional 2021 draft pick”. He couldn’t crack last year’s wretched OL here in Buffalo. This game is going to be an extremely close, defensive battle. Under, Bills +7.
  24. Can’t argue with most of his points, I am still hoping Edmunds reaches that Patrick Willis level of play I thought he would be capable of. I’ve been wondering where the deep ball has been, but just hoping it’s been more a case of defenses trying to take it away and force Josh to make accurate short/intermediate throws because they assumed he had accuracy issues.
  25. I’m pretty sure McD just has restless hand syndrome, and thus remain in a perpetual state of patting and clapping... Knox’s junk just got in the way.
