I think a fair amount of folks devalue Wallace due to his physical limitations. While he’s not the biggest or fastest CB, his on field intelligence and experience make him an additive piece in our secondary where all the starters end up being greater than the sum of parts….. A long winded way of saying Wallace has more value to the Bills than other teams, and what might look like an overpay may be legitimate retention value.

That and the Packers peaking right after Dallas and knocking the 49ers out three years in a row.

Depending on the Rodgers/Adams situations in GB….. Valdez-Scantling may be on Beane’s radar. They brought him in for a pre draft visit. Plus, MVS has used his freakish size/speed combination to become a good outside blocker and deep threat; can’t teach 6’4” & 4.39. I’m sure McB noticed that Davis is the only WR who really blocks bubble screens well.

Mark Davis’s haircut is as old as Frazier. For some reason I don’t think that’ll matter much. He’s likely more concerned about stability and restoring the franchises reputation after the Gruden emails. An established minority coach accomplishes that, and Frazier is a top candidate who’s defense stopped the Chiefs this year.

That would be my contention unless they actually want to move in a different direction.

If it’s to Vegas that issue is mitigated a bit by Carr being an experienced QB that’s worked in multiple systems. I’d much rather have that pair go to the NFC though.

You’d need the other UNC alumni RB named Williams for that.

Agree with the “more speed” would be nice sentiment. Another spect is that our second level blocking generally stinks. The Oline routinely fails to get second level blockers, and outside of Davis our WRs are average (Diggs) at best at run blocking. Better blocking by our pass catchers would spring a big run here or there…. Still…. Singletary’s speed is far from elite.

Might, but there are always guys playing for contracts….. and any potential FAs on the Panthers might see a Bills game as a job interview.

I’m not opposed to the idea of a 1st or 2nd round back if they can get a good FA guard and bolster the interior Oline with another draft pick in the first three rounds. Cap is going to be tight, so I’m not sure they’ll be able to fill every hole with top talent though.

He totally had the opportunity to ruin Meyers career by making him the only NFL head coach to get knocked out by a kicker. Not sure if he’d be out of the league for going after a “college coach” who’s in over his head and can’t understand he’s trying to bully men instead of boys.
