  1. I wouldn’t either. However, one could make an argument for Byrd if McD and Frazier would switch the base to a big nickel. He’d certainly add size and splash plays. Speaking of splash plays….. Terrance McGee. Could play outside and slot cb. Electric returner that was a threat to take any interception, FR, PR, or KR to the house. I’d take Winfield over McGee all day, but if we’re going pure center of the drought remembered for one team guy McGee fits the Bill. Dude could flip the momentum of a game at any moment.
  2. Didn’t he lose that position after a second DUI and a recruiting scandal?
  3. Being held to only two field goals and ***** out in the second half is a bit beyond just playing like 💩. IIRC a few Jaguars players commented of the Bills being listless and not engaged.
  4. After Jacksonville I’ll put a bit of weight on the trap game concept.
  5. Well, before my grandmother got sick she put about half of her grandkids on the waiting list….. 19 years later there’s about ten more years of waiting to get season tickets…. The line shortens by about 600-900 tickets a year and there are 100k+ people waiting. 🤷‍♂️ 😂
  6. Beane made a serious effort to address that this off-season. We now have two outside corners who can play press man and a top ten slot corner. DaQuan Jones (unlike Star) is a durable 1T. Settle and Oliver can both take on 1T duties if need be. Shaq and Rousseau are both excellent at setting the edge. Von Miller is, well he’s Von Miller. Beane also drafted a Milano clone which should help in case of injury. An underrated aspect of this off-season is regaining the energy and attitude that Lawson and Phillips brought to the defense when they were last here. That extra attitude coupled with Miller mentoring the younger pass rushers should be a big benefit. They now have the players to exploit matchups and set the tone. If those weaknesses don’t improve Edmunds and/ Frazier may not be here next season. As for OP….. Bills: Best collection of talent and coaching coupled with a top 3 QB. Fins: Second best talent in the division. Their speed at the skill positions should allow Tua to perform well with a horizontal passing attack and their Shanahan based running scheme should allow for play action. On defense…. Daniels retained Boyer, so scheme and playcalling will be similar. Pats: Belichick, but lacking in talent. Big concern for them is who is calling the offense? The defense? Is Belichick gonna do one? Both? That could be disastrous, especially when coupled with a lack of team speed. Jets: 0-6 in the AFCE last year. They added a bunch of talent, but Saleh hasn’t proven he can do anything with it to date, and he hasn’t proven he can develop players. Wilson has talent, but he’s still a question mark.
  7. Can Baker use “me too” for social justice message on his helmet?
  8. 2018 should be considered on par with 2017. We crap on Edmunds, but the kid has made two pro bowls…. Looking back the 2018 draft consists of a top 5 franchise QB, probowl linebacker, a DT (Philips) that earned a 3yr $20MM contract, a starting nickleback (Taron Johnson), a safety who was just resigned (Neal), an all pro guard (Teller), and a return specialist in McCloud. The majority of that draft class is going to have substantive NFL careers even if they’re not all on this roster. What happened after the draft (Teller, Philips, McCloud) is in large part a result of coaching decisions….. The draft itself was excellent, especially when compared to other teams drafts.
  9. I share that addiction…. CS inspires memories of drunken nights on Monroe Ave in my early 20’s. 😂. They opened a second location on 104 in Greece.
  10. Elam is actually in perfect position to intercept that if Cook can’t get a hand on it. Amazing reactions and adjustments from both.
  11. Go to 6:30. Our first two picks bat the ball back and forth. Bump. Set…..
  12. The compromise is 8-packs of 500ml Carlsberg cans for $13.99, or 4-packs of euro pilsners and swartzbier for $6.99 😉
  13. And it needs the blessing of the owners if you want to maintain job security if it fails.
  14. Ross supposedly has Klippel-Feil syndrome which is a serious concern. No clue how it presents for him, but a substantial portion of individuals with it also end up with additional abnormalities.
  15. Odds that the jets will be killing it in 2025 after trading these 2022 first rounders for picks in the 2025 draft?
  16. Coupled with McKenzie these things actually apply to spread formations as well. They can legitimately run “five wide” and have two running options (three of you count Allen). They might even be able to spread out 11 or 12 personnel to create matchup nightmares which could be deadly in a no huddle. It’s gonna be fun to see what they do with some of these personnel groups this season. There’s certainly more schematic flexibility with the additions they’ve made thus far.
  17. Is Aaron Jones? Heck Alvin Kamara started his career as a 3rd down back and remained just that until Ingram was suspended for four games. We don’t know how these guys will develop over their careers, especially before they take a regular season snap. Cook has elite athletic traits, 4.4 speed, the frame size to add another ten pounds if need be, and he can line up in the slot and run routes. He also works out with Singletary, so there aren’t any issues with those guys getting along in a committee approach. I’m all for waiting to see how much juice this kid has. If he ends up being a third down back that might be okay too…. I’d be happy to have a Darren Sproles, Kevin Faulk, or Eric Metcalf on the roster.
  18. Definitely anomalies. I have to wonder about changes in the league though…. We’re starting to see some of these slot receivers and flankers become primary targets in offenses. There may be a place (particularly in man schemes) for smaller highly athletic corners that can track and mirror some of these track star receivers. I don’t think we’re there yet, but more of the 5’8-6’ WRs with slighter frames are being used in motion. How defenses counter that personnel shift is going to be interesting. At the end of the day I’d rather not see McBeane take the risk of drafting atypical corners to combat that….. unless it works lol.
  19. Mark McMillian? The issue might be looking at outside draft prospects only. Generally speaking wingspan matters, especially when dealing with a lot of the longer receivers in the league. There are certainly some quality players at the 30”-30&1/2” though…. Especially if we include slot corners.
  20. One has to wonder how much of that is Becton on his own and how much is the Jets culture rubbing off on him. … ”I eat because I’m depressed. I’m depressed because I’m a Jet.” 😉 😂
  21. I believe it’s handled by the nfl office now and the teams can’t wave the fines anymore.
  22. Yeah….. My dick ended up in a video on pornhub after an ex ended up trading her old phone for drugs years later…. This isn’t even a blip on my radar. If you consent to pics expect them to end up being seen by others. Fact of life in this digital age.
  23. We’ll see if his ability to read the field evolves, but Howell reminds me more of Fitzpatrick than Mayfield (height aside). Similar body composition, throwing motion, moxy, and streaky play.
  24. It’s historically been special teams for them as well, especially since Rodgers has been there. Just goes to show that teams matter when it comes to roster construction.
