  1. He is bad. Allen and company will eat him alive. However my guess is he doesn't make the final 53 roster.
  2. They had a franchise QB paid at top dollar for over a decade. They invested in OL. Took a RB in first round. They have had multiple productive WRs. They never found a good TE though. Like moat teams, they just screwed up the QB position after their star retired. They are going for the quick fix with Wilson, much like Buffalo did with Bledsoe.
  3. Steelers have a franchise plan and they stick to it. Wilson with a run game decent WR group and a good defense will be tough to beat.
  4. Four years ago Bills signed Matakevich to a 2 year $7.5M contract. That was just as bad as this 49ers contract. In his entire Bills career did he ever make one play? I swear the only time I saw him on the field was him falling down at the goal line as the Jets scored a punt return TD for OT win.
  5. Sorry, can u tell me who we have lost that matters? Hyde was retiring no matter what. Poyer was bad. We all knew Davis was gone. I wish Epenesa was gone too. Can u explain how this is a rebuild when the vast majority of the core players are still here??
  6. This is so gross on so many levels. I'm not going to post how I really feel becuase this is not a forum for politics and I don't want any negative points.
  7. Great no one else wanted Epenesa or Lewis so we just had to keep them....
  8. If he is there and there is interest then you trade down. Losing the 3rd round comp pick makes me want to trade down even more than usual. If there is not a run on WRs ideal situation would be to trade down into the first few picks of the second round and maybe flip our fourth comp pick into a high 3rd round pick. So move down maybe 5 or 6 spots from round 1 to round 2 then move up 50 or so spots into round 3. About 80-100 draft point value to move down and still be in the top 10 of second round. That's enough value to move from 4th round to 3rd round. One superstar TE is, not three...
  9. Lol...good catch...I swear I just started typing and the auto suggest picked Northampton. I don't even know if that is a team...lol
  10. I'm in London right now crushing it in the gym 4 hours ahead of Buffalo. Knowing what we know now, on Day 2, what would your plan be if you were GM? Me, I think I sit tight at this point and let things settle. Beane plugged some holes. If I'm him, I see what happens at safety and edge over the coming weeks. My guess is there will be some value at safety. If I had to make a move, I would make a run at Chase Young ( see what I did there?) and see if he is willing to go mercenary and sign a 2 year deal (that really is a one year prove it) like Floyd did last year. BTW, saw Chelsea vs Northampton last night. Must say it was fun but not really thrilling like so many soccer fans suggest. Atmosphere was more polite than raucous. The Northampton fans were in one section and shouted the entire match(did I get that right?). The Chelsea folks mostly sat and watched. It was a Monday night. No beer in the stands and their main beer was Singha which is their sponsor.
  11. I agree with some of this list. I would just move edge to second round and safety to 3rd or fourth round. I am all for drafting two WRs. I agree with C/G. I would pass on OT and draft another CB or RB. Depth LB for special teams makes sense. I also would still draft the best punter and cut Martin
  12. Don't agree with you on anything in this post. He had a torn pec that is a freak accident not an age issue. The Bills were never in cap trouble. They haven't gotten rid of anybody that they didn't want to because of age and injury. That said I applaud your contrarian post. It's fine to disagree with the board sentiment and with Beane or McDermott.
  13. Awesome!!!! Love this move! Since the ink is not dry, Beane please change your mind and let Epenesa walk.
  14. Doesn't change anything for me. My plan was bring back Jones which may still happen. Then draft WR, Edge, WR with top 3 picks Bringing back Epenesa is dumb. Hate the move. It however may signal Jones is not coming back and they will draft DT instead of edge.
  15. Rookie draft pick and some other veteran free agent. I've said since end of season edge was as big a need as WR.
  16. Um, he never developed! He is awful. He has two splash plays a year and then disappears for most of the season.
  17. 100% agree. He was a good signing for last year while Miller wasn't able to play. He really faded late in the season
  18. Yeah I agree. Texans are on the rise I'm surprised he didn't stay there.
  19. Puke! Puke! Puke! Beane is really off his game now. This guy is terrible!!! If Miller was healthy he would have been a healthy scratch most of the season. This is way worse than the Cam Lewis signing. I hate hate hate this move
  20. Falcons are stupid terrible franchise. Cousins was never that good and he will be hard pressed to even be ready for the start of next season. Dumb dumb dumb Almost as stupid as Eagles wasting all that money on a RB. Two really stupid moves Eagles about ready to fall apart. They hate their HC and two of their best players just retired.
  21. Don't like the Cam Lewis contract I would have kept Morse but I'm fine moving on from him. I know I'm in the minority here, but I always thought White was overrated. I'm happy we are getting rid of that contract. Sad for him but he needed to go. Other than that I have no issue with any of the moves Beane has made. Very impressed he got Miller and Knox to rework their deals.
