As it turns out, I did sleep quite well last night, thank goodness. I voted 50/50. I think this is going to be an epic war. I don't care what happens or how it happens, as long as we end up with 1 point more than Baltimore.

NFL network is replaying last year's Ravens/Bills game this afternoon, and of course we have the early NFL playoff game too. You really need to only make it to 4:30 or so when that first game gets rolling!

The weather forecast keeps changing somewhat from day to day. Now it sounds like 31 F at kickoff; 10-20 MPH winds throughout the game, snow starting to come down during game with emphasis on second half where accumulations might be more likely. Honestly, I don't know how the weather doesn't impact this game, at least some. It's going to be really ***** out there in that stadium Saturday night! If you're going, wear triple layers and prepare for the worst!

I would say they are all quite bad. No one in the NFL knows what they are doing to a high enough level of proficiency. If someone did, there wouldn't be the hilarious mistakes made, in their multitudes, year in and year out. To name one of a thousand examples, in 2017 the Chicago Bears had the second overall pick in the draft and took Mitch Trubisky (LOL) while passing on some stiff named Patrick Mahomes in the process. Cleveland had the 1 pick and took Garrett (great player, about 1/100 as valuable as Mahomes). The remaining top 9 picks are guys in and out of the league now (LOL) and none of them were named Mahomes. There are multiples examples of this clear miss, every single year in the NFL draft.

That would be interesting. We'll find out who's all in on the McDermott system, and who has had enough.

You're putting too much emphasis on psychology, "momentum", and that sort of thing. Put more emphasis on raw Xs an Os, execution, talent, and the matchups created by Baltimore vs. Buffalo. Those will decide the game, not who is coming off a big win.

Most football games come down to a small handful of plays where 1 team makes a mistake and the "evenness" of the game is disrupted. Almost the entire game is more or less played evenly, if you think about it. You get a score, eventually we are going to get a score, you kick a FG, we'll probably get one too, and so on.

He's a totally different player to last year. He's gone from @ 25th best QB in the league to 2nd or 3rd, depending on what stats you are looking at! Still lots of other things to watch in that game from last year though.

There's another game to watch! I'm glad our game is later than last week. Gives more time to anticipate it, which is at least half the fun. I'll be watching last year's Ravens/ Bills game tonight. They are replaying that on Saturday again too (NFL network).

Folks in NE have been discussing this prospect since last November.

The forecast keeps changing. I just saw a forecast saying winds 10-20 MPH, blowing from scoreboard towards the tunnel at game time. It sounds like it's going to snow to some degree....the temp will be around 30 F at game time. I think the wind will play a role. We could get freezing rain, snow, wind, as others have said they are even calling for a mini lake effect system developing with emphasis on only some locations in WNY, but including Orchard Park. My guess is the weather impacts the game.

Godfather II is the best sequel in history, bar none. Folks love to piss on Godfather III, and yes, it is not in the league of 1 and 2, both those are 2 of the best 5 films of all time. But Godfather III is not a bad movie.

Tage belongs in Rochester. It was disheartening to see that Eichel took the night off tonight, after 10 months of not playing hockey. Hall looked good; he'll be gone after this year so enjoy him while he's here.
