  1. THANKS SO MUCH! Will record Thursday at 3pm!
  2. If anyone hears about the NFL network re-airing this game some time this week, please mention it! I would love to see this game again in its entirety. This is a pretty good synopsis; 9 minutes + long.
  3. Here's the link to the recorded segment at WGR-550. https://www.radio.com/wgr550/podcasts/schopp-and-bulldog-20261/01-12-al-michaels-nbc-354451519
  4. Good interview as I thought it would be. Al suggested that he got the best of the 4 games of the weekend to call, even with the Brees vs. Brady matchup on Sunday.
  5. Just listened to it again now! This ranks right up there with some of RJ's best Sabres calls over the years or Van's best Bills calls. "NY is asleep at the WHEEL! How do you not review that play! That is a total MISS by not only the officials on the field but NY if they don't review that!" "That is an OUTRAGE!" 😂
  6. It's WAY too early to address this IMO! The one thing I would add is that if Josh can maintain this caliber of play for the bulk of his career, we are going to be contenders year in and year out for a long time to come. I feel like Josh and this version of the Bills has gotten to this point much sooner than the SB Bills did. Feels like we have more time to get the SB win we are all waiting for.
  7. Only took 1 post to get in some Schopp Hating! Well done!
  8. He's scheduled to be on with Schopp and Bulldog today @ 5:00pm. He's been on before with them and is a great guest.
  9. Chargers makes the most sense for him.
  10. Surprised you're smart enough to come up with a clever little play on words like that. Well done!
  11. Yet another thread about Bills fans dumping on Cleveland fans, despite the fact that our 2 cities and franchises are so close they aren't even cousins. They are brothers. I don't get it. 🤔
  12. As a native WNYer, I have always hated the term "upstate NY" as it is a term coined by New York City people, and no one else in the state. And their idea of what that means is ANY part of NY state that is not in the immediate NYC metropolitan area. I have never known anyone from WNY who says he/she is from "upstate NY". New York City people consider places like Chester, Woodbury, West Point, and other spots way down in the SE corner of NYS to be "upstate". Screw "Upstate NY" and screw "Bills Mafia"--another term coined by people having nothing to do with WNY!
  13. The story of this game is 7 trips over the 50 yard line for Indy with ZERO POINTS to show for it. No team with over 400 yards offense and zero turnovers (like Indy had) has ever lost a playoff game. Of those with those stats who won, they won by an average of over 20 point margin! And Indy lost! This is why I wrote in the post-game thread 3 minutes after the game was over that if we play like this in the next round, we go home.
  14. Wrong Devonta. (For anyone who watched last night or this past season of Alabama football).
  15. He's gotten much better at not doing that type of thing. He's thrown the ball away many times, eating the play, when he realizes it's not working. In a good way. He needs to eliminate his habit of turning around, running straight away from the center towards his own end zone, and then getting sacked for like a 15 yard loss. He did that in the Colts game, but I thought he had learned not to do that. It's an opportunity to improve.
  16. Reminds me of Ray Bourque. His gloves would get so wet with sweat he had to use a new pair for each period. He also did the trick of putting baby powder in them to try and keep them dry.
  17. Bob on the radio addressed the idea of annoying your fellow fan. He said he does this when it's a big moment and everyone is standing already, so you aren't really bothering anyone. I think there will be a lot of extra empty space too, as you note.
  18. I've been to tons of games in that stadium, never slapped the seats. But I haven't been out there in a long time.
  19. "Bob" just called into WGR-550 and mentioned that he and his buddies were slapping empty seats against Indy. The aluminum seats vibrating create tremendous noise; Bob says it's like 100 people shouting as loud as they can. He said several times Rivers had to walk up to the center because he couldn't communicate over the noise. Bob implores all Bills fans to slap those empty stands on Saturday. I thought I'd try to extend the length of his reach by posting here. SLAP THOSE SEATS! MAKE SOME NOISE!
  20. They were just discussing some interesting stats on the radio. Indy is the only team in NFL postseason history to have over 400 yards offense and no turnovers and lose a playoff game. Of the teams that had similar stats, they won by an average of something over 20 points! (I think I have that more or less right). Indy had (I believe) 7 trips over the 50 yard line that resulted in zero points. That's why they lost.
  21. Frazier's not leaving, though I guess it might be fun to discuss what would happen if he did leave. Unless you are implying the team moves on from him. Don't see that happening either.
  22. It sounds like Watson has become disillusioned with the Houston franchise and is almost in a "hold out" situation, asking to be traded. Or something like that. His agent is probably trying to coordinate things with his Tua, his other client, and make all parties happy at the same time. I do think there is more to this than I originally thought.
  23. Eric Wood just mentioned on WGR-550 that this rumor is interesting to him, b/c both Watson and Tua have the same agent! Thinks there is more to this than your typical rumor. I.E., Watson could well be going to Miami. Really bad news for us if it happens.
  24. It looked bad when he was driving off the field but I hoped not this bad!
