Carson Wentz became "uncoachable"(article)

I agree with you. It's going to get worse there before it gets better. -
Doppelgängers - Have you ever ran into yours?
Nextmanup replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in Off the Wall
I lived with a woman for 5 years who truly looks like Danica Patrick, the race car driver. They both have the same skull structure, hair, face, build, and are even both 5' 1" tall. I always joked that if my GF put on a driving suit and the appropriate sunglasses at an Indycar race, and then started walking around near the paddock, *everyone* would have assumed she was Danica and she would have gotten a lot of autograph requests. I have never bumped into my own Doppelgänger, though I have seen a few people over the years who looked like me enough that it was kind of funny. -
Will Deshaun Watson get traded? Could he land in AFCE?
Nextmanup replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have not been following this super closely, but he seems to have become disillusioned with the Houston organization, going so far as to accuse them of being somewhat racist in their policies and what not. This is why he's talking about leaving the team. It has been suggested that he'd be willing to go to Miami, with perhaps the idea being that Tua (at Miami) would go to Houston in exchange? What is interesting is that the 2 QBs share the same agent, so there is way more going on here than your typical rumors. I don't think Houston would have any interest at all at trading Watson, under normal circumstances. But this isn't normal...sounds like he is quasi-demanding a trade. Or something like that. This story is a long way from being over. -
Emotional attachment to Bills - perspective welcomed

As a life-long Red Sox fan, I can say that yes, the Red Sox have loved us back! It started right around the time they changed from a racist, Mickey Mouse organization into a smart, competent one and started hiring good baseball players, good managers, and had a total commitment to winning. I agree it feels like the Bills have loved us back the last few years actually. This feeling hasn't been anywhere near this franchise for 25+ years. PS: I didn't know people like the OP and others contributing here existed! I always assume all Bills fans are native WNYers because, for the most part, why would anyone choose the Bills if they didn't have to? Not joking. Very enlightening thread. -
Herbert is going to be a huge stud in this league for a LONG time to come. Exactly how huge remains to be seen, but if Josh ended his career tomorrow, I'd move heaven and earth to get Herbert instead. Even if that would be impossible. I'd try.

I said last week, prior to the Colts game, that it had to be the most anticipated Bills game since our last Super Bowl. And a lot of folks agreed with that. Well forget that! Tonight's game is OFF THE CHART ANTICIPATION. Easily the biggest Bills football game in MORE than 25 years. My fingernails will be quickly reduced to bloody nubs in this one!

Yes. Latest is 10-20mph winds all game, snow starting during game, but with emphasis on 2nd half. Temp at kickoff around 30/31 F. Something like 50-60% chance of precipitation. It sounds like there is going to be a lake effect event tonight, but probably mostly missing the game, with the bulk of it coming overnight. Still sounds like there will be some snow at the game. * I can't imagine the weather not impacting this game to some degree. It's not exactly going to be a lovely night for football.
