It is possible for an NFL team to score in a classless fashion at the end of a game. This wasn't such an example, though.

Lots of teams scare me! We still aren't complete enough a team to not be scared. I'll worry about most of our opponents in the playoffs, unless we end up landing a really good matchup in the first game. We could have very easily been 1 and done last year! Didn't go that way, but what if it had? Would your average Bills fan think differently about the team right now? Probably.

Not only that, but quite clearly, the Rams are 100% going for a Super Bowl WIN THIS YEAR. Let's say they do suck in a couple of years and bottom out. If they win it all the year, who cares? Cycles are part of sports. The Sabres just played a very bad LA Kings team last night...that won 2 Cups not that long ago. Would any Sabres fan care that we are bad if we had 2 Cups in our back pocket from just the past few years? There are now 4 NFC teams that scare me should we somehow find our way to the big dance this year. We are not a complete enough team to compete on that level---yet. I agree our window of opportunity is quite big, because Josh Allen is still quite young. I would agree that we don't have to keep up at the deadline, but we need to keep up. The sort of roster structuring we still need to do is work for the off-season anyway, not the trade deadline. We are not there yet, but another off-season might fix that.

Tua is not a "backup" though he is mercilessly abused at this forum. The knee is a remarkably bad design, considering "evolution" and all. Things that poorly designed in nature usually don't last. The knee was never made for upright walking.

Officiating in the NFL is terrible, and the game has become far too complex and rule driven. It's overly regulated. I'd love to see that changed.

I would imagine the O line will receive a lot of attention come draft and free agency time next year. Won't help us this year in the playoffs, though. A minor trade at the deadline on Tuesday would be welcomed.
