  1. To the OP: You'll run into huge resistance around here, as you have already done so (not surprising) regardless of the validity of your points. Most responders will not have read them anyway.
  2. I can remember discussing the poor quality of Bills TV broadcasting crews with my dad back in the early to mid '80s, when we stunk. We always got the worst crews in the sport. And then as we got better and better through the '80s the crews got better and better...and when we finally "arrived" as the toast of the AFC we usually had the No. 1 crew. I have noticed this time around that we still don't really get the good crews! It's like it's still 1985 or something. I'm waiting for us to consistently get the top crews out of respect for being a good team, but it doesn't seem to be happening. We still have a few big matchups left on the calendar this year...maybe we'll get the No. 1 crew for one of them. The December 26 NE game should be epic---maybe we'll get a solid crew for that one. Or the TB game?
  3. This year's NE team is better than most Bills fans give it credit for, and it's improving week to week as you would expect given their coaching. Both games will be tough fights! If you think otherwise you're nuts. I still like us as the favorite to win both of them, but it ain't gonna be easy.
  4. Well that might explain the whole thing. Every time they tweak and add complexity to the system, it gets worse. Some day the whole thing is going to collapse under its own dead weight. At least I hope so! I wish they would get rid of ALL OF IT and go back to 1975 rules. Refs on the field make a quick judgment call and then everyone lives with it. It will be at least as imperfect as the system is NOW, but at least games will move forward with a bit more flow and speed. NFL games are so f-ing disjointed and difficult to watch now. You are rarely in "game mode" for than a minute or 2 before heading off to a commercial break, a commercial even though there is no break for one (a new trick), a delay, review, timeout, pre-snap flags, etc. Remember when we had to all live with bad calls? The game was a lot more fun! And the officiating is HORRIFIC in this league! Think of the Monday morning B word fests at the water cooler!
  5. How do you feel now about our "commitment to the run" following the Jets game?
  6. I totally agree that the refs should NOT have handed the challenge flag back to Saleh and just told him "you can't do that." If the idiot wants to challenge an un-challengeable call, or challenge a review that has already been made (so that there is no chance of overturning the call) he should be allowed to do so! And suffer the consequence of the failed challenge. That struck me as amateurish.
  7. Henry could easily be playing by the time the playoffs roll around. Then again, he might not be able to play too.
  8. Me too! I'm still in the first quarter of Seattle vs. GB! SNF is for later. I have no idea how people can watch NFL football live, with all the breaks in the game. It's a lot better to be able to FF through all of it!
  9. How do you like it after an easy blowout win, like today? It's horrible! Boring, very few new threads have been started, and there's no passionate discussion about anything. Excellence/winning bring boring times! It was like this on a lot of Sundays during the SB years too.
  10. How about these 2 cowboys? These guys are awesome.
  11. Almost for sure, his helmet is not sized (or fitted) correctly. No way in the world should it pop off like that. It's HIS head in there; you would think he would want it to work as engineered. A lot of NFL players have helmets that come off way too easily.
  12. Last week on the radio, Eric Wood directly addressed the theory that Bills players just didn't care about the game or whatever. He was personally contacting current players whom he is chummy with and getting the real feel of what was going on. He said it's total rubbish to suggest the players were somehow tuned out of the game. For some reasons fans always feel a need to generate psychologically oriented story lines to explain sports outcomes. Sometimes 2 teams match up a certain way and a better team loses to the worse team. ***** happens.
  13. I thought the exact same thing as the play was unfolding in real time! A lot of the success was timing--getting down the field to critical points at critical times--and a slower guy wouldn't have done it. Or at least it would have been harder to do. As always, in all sports, there is so substitute for speed.
  14. Adam's apple area is not right for this to be a man IMO. She has the throat of a woman. Wish we could see her wrists; nothing gives a man away like his wrists and hands. Look at women's bracelet sizes--seriously, women's wrists are TINY.
  15. Jimmy Spags was right after all. There was a knockout punch. He just go the teams mixed up, which shouldn't be very surprising.
  16. This feels like the kind of day where we might score 60.
  17. His speed adds a dimension absent without him.
  18. We are now officially in garbage time.
  19. Tre acting like he's never caught an INT before!
  20. The game was already over, but it's really over now.
  21. 17-3 vs 17-6 at half it not really huge. We have this game comfortably in control and will win by a lot.
  22. but things are still well under control.
  23. This crew throws the most flags of any crew in the NFL !?!!?!? Yeah, that's great.
  24. If the play was there, it would have been a TD. It was sort of there; partially there; that's why I don't like the play design!
  25. Another red zone failure! That cameraman took Diggs' helmet directly to the knee cap. Looked painful.
