  1. I would say look for one of them to have a big INT in this game. My pick is Singletary. I think he will surprise with some solid running tonight at the right times.
  2. They were both very close games until the end. NE had a real chance to win the second game in Foxboro...ended up 12 pts but that doesn't tell the story. The first game they actually won! Not sure of your point.
  3. He's still a starter and this will disrupt how they do things on the OL. That has to be a big wynn for the Bills. Excuse the pun.
  4. I can TOTALLY see ways in which we lose this game. I do NOT think it's going to happen however. But it certainly COULD happen. These 2 teams have already played 2 close games tougher; no reason to believe this won't be the 3rd. A close game between division rivals who really know each other well, that great coaching for NE, and almost double digit negative temps with wind chill? Are you kidding me? One fumble could turn the outcome of this game.
  5. I wish there was a 4th choice saying "Doesn't really matter one way or the other; if he stays, OK; if he leaves for a HC job, we'll got someone else in that will work OK too." That's my vote.
  6. I will never stop being surprised by the number of guys who effectively win a lottery ticket by ending up in the NFL, and then, on differing levels, throw it in the toilet and flush it away. Sometimes it's with crime, or not being able to follow simple rules like get to the team meeting on time, or being a jerk with teammates or coaches, and on and on. Tua's agent and support staff should have been letting him know he's a tweener and needs to work to stay in the league. Now this sort of thing gets out there and it will probably cost this guy millions and millions off the back end of what would have been his backup career.
  7. WGRZ says right now (10:20am Eastern) in Buffalo it is 6 degrees F, feels like -7 wind chill. WKBW says it's 5, -11 wind chill.
  8. 2 quick questions: 1) Has anyone heard what the weather will be tonight? 2) Does anyone know if they are planning to build a dome?
  9. Hopefully this thread is a month TOO EARLY. Not the time to be discussing off-season business!
  10. I believe it means they are sending over some of the talent from the Fort Erie Ballet Company.
  11. IAN EAGLE AND CHARLES DAVIS CALLING THE GAME.
  12. Of course, the classic Bills fan trifecta. 😂 🤷‍♂️
  13. You are forgetting about "air salt" which is everywhere down here if you are near the coast and utterly gets at everything. Folks in my neighborhood have those screened in cages surrounding pools and back patios. The metal framework that creates the "cage" corrodes so badly in the salt air that they need to be routinely pressure washed to keep them in good shape. You don't have to worry about "road salt" but it's worse in some respects. This is why no car guy hunts for a perfect vintage car in FLA FFS. Dry arid areas are better, as long as the car has been out of the sun. Think inner southern Cali, the SW, Texas. No state income tax in FL is nice, but don't focus on taxes. Focus on COST OF LIVING. Where I live a decent 4 bedroom house is around $650,000 plus. WNYers love to B word about taxes but forget they are living in some of the cheapest overall cost of living in the country, and housing is dirt cheap.
  14. Right. In other words, you are, at best, a casual fan. That's cool! So is my 85 year old mother! She'll watch the game and hope we win, and understand little of what happens technically in the game. If we lose, well, no big deal, and back to her normal life she goes not thinking about football for 5 minutes before next September! Lots of "Bills fans" are like you!
  15. COVID blame = Bills fandom denial in this instance. It's hilarious how folks can't rationalize that the Bills fanbase wouldn't sell out out a 70,000 seat playoff game. "But, but....but...we are the best fans in the NFL!" you can hear them mumbling in a corner, wiping the tears from their eyes between words. 😂
  16. We'd be much better suited to playing in a dome--and I'm NOT A DOME GUY. The bad weather only hurts us and closes the gap to NE.
  17. Question for those who have been recently to the stadium: Is there a heated public area you can retreat to in order to warm up on a cold day? The last time I was there (every game I've been to) there was NOT such a place. You don't think about that until you are there and freezing your ass off and realize there isn't a place to go get warm in. Have any of the stadium improvements over the years created such a place?
  18. What made you leave San Diego? That general area is some of the nicest America you can live in.
  19. Yeah I agree with that. I agree that BB and BCS are better shows, but that doesn't mean Ozark is somehow bad or not worth your time. There are very few really good TV series going at any one point in time--Ozark is one of them. Worth a watch.
  20. If anyone else wants to create some competition, the door is wide open for a solid chance at success.
  21. You need folks here to act as "team captain" for their section at the stadium. Agree to a start time, and then the captains run up an down the aisle of their section shouting to their little chunk of the fans telling them what to say. Half the people will be drunk and go in on anything suggested. You need cheerleaders to get it going. If just one or 2 sections do it loudly and clearly, it will catch on in a few seconds and the whole stadium could erupt. Gotta agree on what to say and start time first!
