  1. KC was like 2 different teams this year. The early season struggling team and the late season team that figured it out. KC is pretty much back to being KC now, though not fully! I'm not sure I see a lot of value in the first game with them though; they are a different team now. Then again, hopefully we are too after last night! One thing to keep in mind: we may have killed the Patriots, but they have a MUCH better defense than KC! So that should help. This is true and that "soft finesse" team that so many Bills fans hated 4 weeks ago or so is just right for a KC matchup. It's a shame TRE won't be out there, as we'll need all hands on deck, but we can still do it without him. FANS love to talk about that sort of stuff. Pro athletes don't take anything lightly and pretty much come out, every game, and play as hard as they can. I guess that doesn't make for an interesting story, so fans like to invent their own.
  2. Temperature and pressure vary directly. Charles' law. 10th grade chemistry class.
  3. It's a shame the "brackets" work out in this manner....Bills vs. Chiefs deserves to be the championship game. The other QBs in the AFC can't compete with Mahomes vs. Allen if both are on their game.
  4. Nah, our best bet is a Pittsburgh miracle tonight. Playing at Arrowhead in a playoff game is a very hostile environment, and the late season Chiefs are not the team we beat earlier in the year. A crazy Pittsburgh upset would be a dream come true.
  5. I have never heard of this David Portnoy guy, but consider me his newest fan. Watching this guy experience major mental anguish is my newest favorite hobby. I'm off to Youtube to find more of this sort of thing. If I find more, I'll post them here. 🤪
  6. I really enjoyed it too. Gives you a little insight into life as a Pats fan. They've had it so good, for so long, they don't know what suffering means!
  7. This is, without doubt, THE GAME OF THE DAY for me and for all Bills fans, I would think. YES, Pitt has a 2-5% chance of winning (LOL) but Big Ben has been around the block a few times, they have a great front 7 on D, and KC and Mahomes have not looked like KC and Mahomes on offense in MANY games this year. KC's defense is nowhere close to as good as New England's for example... I think Big Ben will need the game of his life to have a shot, but maybe they can pull out a low scoring close one. Can't wait for this baby to get started. Absolutely they are! Mahomes and Allen are on their own level that the other QBs in the AFC can't compete with, if they are on the top of their games.b TANNEHILL? PLEASE! Joe Burrow has been great but he's not Mahomes or Allen or Rodgers or Brady. The AFC Championship Game deserves to be a rematch of KC and Buffalo. It's a let down and weird that the matchup is probably going to come early. The upside is that if we play and get past KC, it's downhill sledding to the SB.
  8. I am really looking forward to this game and will be cheering big time for the 49ers. I just don't see them pulling off the victory, however. I'm just praying for good, close games today. Other than praying Pitt beats KC, I really don't care who wins and loses today, especially with the NFC games. I figure if we make it to the SB, we are going to be facing a really good NFC team. SO be it. Which one it is doesn't really bother me.
  9. It's always fun to cheer against Brady, of course, but for some reason I've having real trouble getting into this one. It's the lamest of the 3 today IMO. The one I want to see most comes last, and we'll have Al Michaels and the excellent NBC broadcast so I'm REALLY looking forward to that one.
  10. YES! It's not much of a chance, maybe 1 or 2%, but it's a chance! I am looking forward to that game more than any today! If Pittsburgh can keep the score low and close, I'll really enjoy it. If KC blows it wide open early on, it will be unwatchable! God knows the NFL loves to put Dallas on TV as much as is humanly possibly, even when the team is not good enough to support it, and inPRIME TIME as much as is possible! So I agree Dallas at night.
  11. It's hard to argue with that path, but I think there will be 1 upset and crazy outcome in the playoffs that we can't foresee, and that will alter the path a little. Like if Philly won today for instance--no Bucs in SB. Or if Pitt can somehow beat KC in a stunner. Or.....
  12. BILLS POSSESSIONS FROM LAST NIGHT, IN ORDER: - 70-yard touchdown drive - 80-yard touchdown drive - 81-yard touchdown drive - 89-yard touchdown drive - 58-yard touchdown drive - 77-yard touchdown drive - 39-yard touchdown drive - Backup quarterback kneel-downs
  13. YES. I wrote about that in detail somewhere on this board last night, not sure where. BB totally minimized the loss best he could in his post game PC; Sean McDermott totally minimized the win "no big deal, just 1 game, more to do" in his PC... And their post-game "hand shake moment" was a virtual flyby in which BB MAYBE said "Congratulations" and keep walking...he never really stopped walking...and he looked away quickly. I would go so far to say THEY HATE EACH OTHER. GOOD! This is the stuff of rivalries.
  14. I don't think that's the right take. He DID kind of blow the whole hand shake ritual off. He dedicated about 1 second to the whole thing and didn't appear to say much beyond "Good game" if that, or maybe "Congratulations" and no more. But I do believe he shook McD's hand. MEDIA: "Bill, was that one of the best offensive performances you've ever coached against?" BB: {2 or 3 seconds of silence} followed by "uh.......they played well tonight." You know it just KILLED HIM TO HAVE TO SAY EVEN THAT. *Notice too in McDermott's PC: he was asked about the magnitude of this game and how it means more b/c it's BB and NE and McDermott was like "This is just one game" totally downplaying any notion that it was a big win. I think these guys hate each other. May respect each other, but hate each other. You can feel it in their "hand shake" moment if you watch it over at full speed.
  15. In fairness, BB did very well to get as far as he did with what he has at QB. But you aren't gonna be more than "1 and done" with a guy like Jones as Bills fans know all too well. He's another Tyrod or so many other guys floating around this league and you just can't win with guys like that when you play a team with a REAL QB. For once we are on the right side of the equation!
  16. Watch the end of the video 3 or 4 times. In the last second or so it sounds like you can clearly hear a single guy in the crowd shouting "SUCK IT" at the Patriots....could just be my imagination too. 😂 The actual mechanical aspect of the catch itself was really incredible. NOT EASY! And the speed of it. Like a swooping Eagle diving in and grabbing its prey.
  17. By some metrics, this was the best offensive performance IN LEAGUE HISTORY not just Bills history!
  18. Honestly, "The Perfect Game" is really solid.
  19. We are going to be talking about this game forever. It's going to need a nickname for quick reference. What's your idea? I'm voting for "The Saturday Night Massacre".
  20. This was something like the football version of a no-hitter, or maybe even a perfect game. All the talking head pundits are going to have to revise their boilerplate and come up with some new ideas after this little piece of history..
  21. EVER! Regular season or playoffs!
  22. NEVER, in the history of the NFL, has a team played 60 minutes and NOT: PUNTED or ATTEMPT A FG or TURN THE BALL OVER That was us tonight! Didn't do any of the 3! * This applies to regular season or the playoffs. Never been done. We'll all remember this forever.
  23. Josh was historically good, and the beat down we delivered to BB and the Patriots was historically brutal! That's the daily double right there.
  24. Allen, Singletary, Hyde, and Knox I think. The best 4 standouts for me. Lots of other good games out there too of course.
