In the early days of Pegula's ownership of the Sabres, he got on a stage with a mic and made a very off color racial joke that was not received very well--and rightly so. After that moment, his handlers got a hold of him and you have seen him and HEARD him very, very little in public ever since. Prior to the "joke" he was fairly high profile and made himself available to the media somewhat regularly. I remember one afternoon he was sitting in an empty atrium at HSBC Arena (or whatever they call it now) chatting for like 1/2 hour with Schopp and Bulldog live on air. He hasn't done anything like that in YEARS now.

For what it's worth, it seems like you very rarely see a shot of them schmoozing up in the owner's box at Bills games, and it is unheard of at a Sabres game. Now and again, yes, you do see it. But I often wonder if they are at a given game b/c the cameras don't show it. Seems like they show owners in every game if they can.

I'm MORTIFIED.

And in Philly they throw D cell batteries. In Dallas it looked like they were scattering cherry blossoms in comparison.

They are graded/evaluated after every performance, though pay isn't based on it.

And don't forget what we did to NE Saturday night! BB/New England destroyed; KC AFC Championship 2021 avenged; Tennessee loss this year and Music City Miracle avenged; and then for the icing on top of the cake: taking down old Tommy Boy in the biggest show of them all at a time in his career when he might not see that game ever again. As you say that would be incredible, and that might very well be our path if we can keep winning. I can totally see having to play those teams in that order.

Ugh, that's fans throwing things at the officiating crew as they leave the field! Yeah, a Cowboy was in there and he deflected something with his helmet, but that was just friendly fire. Who the hell is Jane Slater?

That can't be! We don't get any respect from anyone about anything and are the victim of an ongoing conspiracy to make sure we never win a Super Bowl. I read it all here over the years; it must be true. It is absolutely to our benefit if all the hype/focus is on KC. Let them go into the game with the pressure of expectation.

Doubt you are going to find a Bills bar (LOL) but you can probably find a sports oriented bar and ask someone to switch on the game, if it isn't on already! It is going to be an NFL playoff game after all. They will probably ALL be shown if you are in the right bar.

Pittsburgh kept this game interesting longer than I thought. It was still interesting with like 5 minutes left in first half. And then a little later it was 35-7. Big Ben is so beyond washed up it's kind of incredible. Makes you wonder what Brady is up to. Simple case of steroids, etc.? If you listened correctly you would have heard him follow up with "Not to THAT extent!" which is a fair comment, seeing as it may have been the greatest offensive performance in NFL history. No one here saw it coming either, including you. If you want to continue going through life thinking you, Buffalo, and the Bills get no respect from anyone, go for it...but that isn't healthy or accurate.

Romo is great; one of the best color guys I've heard. His fresh, natural, funny style immediately made pretty much ALL color commentators seem redundant. I don't mind the last slot of the weekend for our game; I think it's ideal in fact. This way I can enjoy ALL the games of the weekend.

The analogy doesn't quite work IMO, but the situation won't stay the way it is now forever. The better question regarding New England is which direction Belichick might go in the near future. All in on Mac? Looking for new QB this offseason? Retiring and if so, when? Etc. I still don't feel like I know what the Patriots will be in the near future. Until they get a real QB, we'll have the upper hand though.

I guess sweetest would be beating Brady. Second best might be getting one back from Dallas. Beyond that I wouldn't really care who we played.

It's a shame none of them will have ticket stubs! Historic ticket stubs are cool and only get better with age. So much for "progress."

It's actually kind of amazing to me that they found a path to the playoffs. Well there's your ballgame. Not that it wasn't already over. Time to do some laundry/chores before the next game! LOL

The whistle clearly blew before the ball flew into the end zone. The DB closest to the receiver, who could have made a play, clearly quit on the play and was just sort of jogging around as the ball was caught. The DB made no effort of any kind to play football or defend the pass. So it's hard to allow a TD to stand at that point. The whole thing was diagnosed correctly and quickly by the expert Ref. They should have taken the points off the board IMO, reset the clock, reset the down, had everyone line up, and play the down over. I loved the announcement made by the NFL a few minutes later saying "Yeah, that was a mistake, but we'll address that after the game, not now." LOL

For me this is not as good as the first video. Seems a bit more contrived, which it obviously is to a degree... I wandered around Youtube looking for similar stuff but didn't find much that hasn't been posted here already. I thought I'd find more.
