  1. Budapest is one of the great cities of the world IMO! Jealous! Have a good friend from childhood now living in the Nice area....what a lovely town!
  2. Very interesting reading. The sun truly never sets on the Buffalo Bills Empire! York, huh? I'm very jealous. Say hello to your lovely city for me.
  3. Star power? Nelly sounds like the name of someone's great grandmother. Never heard of her. You asking who cares? Or trying to tell us that you do not care? You need a period, not a question mark. 👎
  4. I've been saying for YEARS that NFL players are way over-pumped and tight--and that they need to focus less on weight lifting in general and more on stretching and flexibility. Sounds like we (among others) have caught onto this idea and it's helping. Look at how many guys injure themselves during non-contact! That's crazy and it shouldn't happen. But they are all so "tight"....
  5. Fans love to pin outcomes of games on 1 play, and frequently do! GB could do nothing all game long; if/when Rodgers leaves for a better run organization, we'll know why.
  6. I think the "Perfect Game" or "Saturday Night Massacre" against New England changed how I think about home games, in that Josh Allen did not seem excessively nervous. On the contrary, he was ultra-dialed in and pumped up--super focused--as was almost the entire team, and they delivered a team performance for the ages. If they can get up to that level of focus again, home field will be to our advantage I think. How much it impacts the game is not NEARLY as much as fans would like to believe though.
  7. It occurred to me yesterday, while watching Titans vs. Bengals, that Nantz and Romo will be doing OUR GAME TODAY. Aside from Al Michaels, that is as good as NFL broadcasting gets these days (I know, it's pretty bad). Looking forward to this crew calling the game--and we'll get them again next week in the AFC championship game too (KNOCK ON WOOD).
  8. Statistically? Absolutely NOT! Getting that first week bye is HUGE. This year was weird, but that's a single data point. That's not how statistics work.
  9. Of course the boyfriend killed the young girl who went missing! That's pretty much how it always goes. Some were suggesting it was a random serial killer?!
  10. Not funny. If they didn't have that we would have had the #1 seed. It may not matter, but then again...
  11. Watch from the get-go if McDermott is there to win, or play not to lose. He will need to play to win from the very beginning IMO. Treat KC with great respect, assume they are going to get 30+, and shape all decision making around our need to get MORE than that, from the very beginning of the game. Cheat towards the risk taking end of the spectrum, and hope it's our day like it was last week.
  12. It's a good example of how record is not always the best indicator of quality. 2 best teams in the AFC playoffs are clearly Buffalo and KC...neither of whom are Seed 1. "Nick Wright" LOL. Dude can go F himself.
  13. Huge Indian food spread. Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Korma, Naan, Raita, Biryani, Pakora, samosa, lots of rice... We love Indian food! I can't get enough of the stuff.
  14. Are you a marathon runner or something? 50 is really low! I will be a nervous wreck during the KC game, but it's a find kind of nervous wreck!
  15. The Bengals are yet another AWAY team that didn't get the memo they are supposed to lose in a hostile environment in the playoffs. OK, so Nashville isn't very hostile, but still! Who says there's a home field advantage these days? (I'm knocking on wood as I type): playing the Bengals at home in a championship game sounds fine by me. One more piece of business tomorrow in Kansas City, first.
  16. Very entertaining game in its own way, and it went in a direction very few were predicting. Shows you why they play the games. And we have 2 more examples today of how there is NOT a home field advantage in the NFL anymore. If only the 49ers can keep winning...and we can win tomorrow in KC. Setting up AFC championship at home against Bengals followed by a SB against 49ers?! 2 very winnable games for us! This is so interesting--I don't want the playoffs to end tomorrow for us! This is by far the most enjoyable time of the year.
  17. The folks who are questioning the extent of his injury have never heard of vascular necrosis, let alone know what it is. Ignorance is bliss.
  18. I can't help but think of Bloom carrying his potato around in his pocket in Ulysses. Any James Joyce fans here?
  19. Keeping an eye on Henry will be one of the more interesting aspects of the game. He has a plate in his foot; I can't believe he will be near 100%. I wouldn't be surprised if he is seldom used, simply b/c he's not ready to fully go. The Titans claim he is not on a pitch count as if they are planning to go "full Henry" but I think that's BS. Maybe I'm wrong! Will be interesting to see.
  20. I think a lot of people are picking the Titans. I'm still gonna go with the Bengals simply b/c they have such a better QB, and that's about 98.5% of the game. Tannehill is still decent though, and way better than this fanbase ever gave him credit for, even back in Miami. I think the only stinker of the weekend will be San Fran getting pounded by GB.
  21. No offense to anyone, but I'd rather swallow glass than watch Sean McDermott field questions from Wolf Blitzer about a football game. I think I can write a transcript of what McD will say without knowing the questions.
  22. Leave the sweet potato, take the dilldo.
  23. I have the CD of this album! When it comes to music for sex, the go to is: Side 2, Led Zeppelin IV. 😂
  24. Not to mention an alcoholic/drug addict of some type. I saw an interview with him years ago and he said he was too young and ill-prepared to handle the immense fame and success he got almost overnight. His way of handling it was drugs/alcohol. I have no idea how quickly he cleaned up, though, or if in fact he ever did. Ed Van Halen died not long ago and he always had trouble with alcoholism too, like so many other musicians. He'd have brief periods of recovery (when he got chubby!) but they would never last long. When you see normal, skinny Ed, that's alcoholic Ed.
  25. Harbaugh is a great HC and Lamar is a great QB who can do things no one else can, including Josh Allen and Mahomes. They'll get things sorted out. The Ravens are historically a very well run organization.
