  1. My TV signal is all screwed up! They were at commercial after the game started and now there is sound but not video. Thanks CBS. F YOU!
  2. Buffalo expects every man will do his duty.
  3. Listening to Bill Cowher try to talk is infuriating.
  4. Not so fast! Pittsburgh might be able to pull of a miracle tomorrow!
  5. The Bengals felt in control and like the team that would win the entire game. Raiders gave it a good shot to give it a fun ending, but Cincy deserved to win IMO...they were the better team.
  6. Aren't you cold out there? Or are you too drunk to notice/care?! 😛 It's actually illegal to heat the balls. They are supposed to be kept at ambient temperature during the game, whatever that is. Learned that rule this week.
  7. They keep showing nice shots of the inside of Paul Brown Stadium and it looks small and intimate compared to Rich Stadium. Turns out it holds 65,535, so it is a bit smaller, but still pretty big. 3 tiers on the sides instead of 2.
  8. He really does have that weird style where he sort of is yelling/barking all the time, like he's trying to fire up his teammates in a huddle moments before starting a football game. It's odd, and highly annoying. It doesn't help that he NEVER says anything insightful or relevant.
  9. There may not be a ton of punting (or FG kicking) in this game. I would like to keep an eye on the kickers in the pre-game warmups to see what sort of range they have. I hope someone talks about that in the game broadcast. I'm thinking 40 or more is too far in zero degrees. Maybe less!
  10. I can't stand to listen to Michael Irvin talk. Full stop!
  11. I don't know the technicalities, but I can only assume it WOULD be a full time job to keep grass growing in Orchard Park, NY, especially around this time of year. 🤣 I have to assume grass is much better for the health of everyone playing, so I support the idea, even if it turns into a dirt/mud pit at times.
  12. I can guarantee you the Super Bowl isn't played in warm weather or domes to get "good football" or whatever you're implying. It's because the corporate/NFL elite who actually attend that game want to do it somewhere warm and nice in winter. Period. Why do corporations across America set up "winter meetings" on a golf course in FL? Same reason.
  13. I think it is fair to suggest that Daboll, at times, has some pretty weird and objectively BAD play calling. Maybe they all do, I don't know. He also seems sometimes slow to change up what we're doing, mid-game, to try and mitigate some sort of shortcoming. I'm not really a huge fan or detractor, those are just some observations. I don't want to dwell on that now, but I agree. If we lose tonight, folks will be in meltdown mode and I guarantee people will be calling for the head of McDermott. If we win, that will be happening NEXT WEEK, unless we can find a way past KC. 😳
  14. Yes, it can actually!
  15. Funny; I was just quoting some NFL pundit's TWEET that I read somewhere... Don't believe everything you see on the internet, I guess. EDIT: I got that at ESPN; they need to do better fact checking I guess. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33059331/nfl-wild-card-round-playoff-game-picks-schedule-guide-bold-predictions-odds-injuries-matchup-keys-more
  16. I was trying to make a point. We have a bigger stadium which is harder to fill and you need to adjust for stadium size as you compare attendance around the league. Verstehen Sie?
  17. Don't forget, even with the modernizations and down-sizing, our stadium still holds 70,000. That's bigger, and in some cases a lot bigger, than many stadiums around the league. So our 90% capacity is their 100% capacity. See?
  18. The spread is only 4.5 points. I don't think we will lose and in fact would be surprised if we did, but it wouldn't be CLOSE to a historically bad playoff loss IMO. These teams are too close and they will be meeting for the 3rd time. This game has "tight and close" written all over it. Throw in the cold and it could break either way, in theory. Hopefully the media would figure all that out. Then again, hopefully they won't have to!
  19. I thought that was part of the joke. It was like a joke inside a joke. Firs tip off is "Hear me out" and then the 3rd grade spelling error.... Maybe he was being serious? 😬
  20. Here's a fun fact: Rookie quarterbacks are 0-6 outright in the postseason since 2010 (2-4 against the spread). The past three rookie QBs to reach the playoffs went 0-3 against the spread and outright. Doesn't bode well for Mr. Jones. I think, generally, it does favor New England. Doesn't favor Jones individually though! The weather will serve to close the gap between our potentially high flying offense and the Patriots', which is hampered to begin with, even on a nice day.
  21. The risk here is not with the NFL! It's with some related entity who will directly benefit from impropriety. The NFL already has its money, as you point out. People who gain: individual officials/betting agencies/corrupt wealthy gamblers making huge bets
  22. Bills worst in league, Colts best in league. What does this say about McDermott vs. Reich, if anything?
  23. Because every time an offensive play doesn't go our way, it's his fault. Don't you read the game threads? 😁
  24. That's WAY too high of a score for what tonight's game will be IMO. But what do I know?
