The irony is that this board LOVES to make fun at Patriots fans based on the assertion that they are not "real football fans" or let's say, they are casual fans. Like if Patriots have a 4 win season, the stadium will be half empty in Foxboro as Patriots fans find new interests. The irony to THAT of course is that when the Bills have been that bad in the past, we've had crowds of 30,000 in what was an 80,000 seat stadium. Folks forget we were NOT selling out all playoff games in the SB era, like the big comeback game against Houston. But then we are constantly reminded that we are the best fanbase in the NFL. 🤔

Cheater? Or the only guy in a league filled with dumb coaches who actually looks for--and finds--every single advantage to be manipulated in his favor? Are there rules against chewing up the field? No? Then it's not cheating. Is that a semi-clever tactic designed to give his team a slight edge? Then it's clever in my book, not cheating. He looks for every last edge he can find---I admire it in him. The problem isn't that BB does it; the problem is that everyone else in the league DOES NOT. They should ALL be doing this stuff, routinely.

Until the situation with Watson is sorted out (both in terms of trading him if they are going to and his legal problems) that organization will go nowhere. Literally doesn't matter who the coach is right now. I feel bad for Culley however.

I've seen this segment where he uses the telestrator many times, and it's ALWAYS really good. I find this highly detailed X and O stuff to be super interesting, much more so than typical "sports talk" topics, many of which have nothing actually to do with sports. On third play, the Josh scramble and little pitch out to Knox at the end...Bill sort of laughs and comments on how the pitch got a couple more yards. Josh was doing that at that point in the game to give the ball to Knox so he could get out of bounds and stop the clock, as compared to Josh getting tackled in bounds. Seems like that aspect of the play went over BB's head. Or maybe he just forgot to mention that on the show.

On that very first play, I didn't realize during the game how much of a clever cut Singletary made. And he really used the speed and pursuit of LB #56 against him--made him take himself totally out of the play, as Edmunds loves to do routinely. That was a really good run.

I haven't heard of anyone whining about the weather. Have you? PS: It gets cold in Boston too.

Folks writing "Get a dome" at this forum is not going to have any impact whatsoever on reality....or us actually getting a dome. It just comes across as highly annoying whining and complaining, and is wasted energy. How about coming up with a new battle cry? How about calling for a return to the standing bison on our helmets for all games, or something that might actually happen?

I have the Bills #1 and kind of don't care beyond that. Having said that, the 49ers have always been my "second team" going back to when they were magical in the '80s. I think I'd pull for them to somehow win it all if we can't. Beyond that, I truly don't care who wins or loses at all.

He may reconsider his statements when he can't feel his own balls on Saturday night. 😲

Poor Aaron Dell goes between the pipes against Nashville tonight. He's sporting a 4.52 GAA and an .872 save %. It's going to be a long night; Nashville is really hot right now and a good team.

I was thinking Canadians make up something like 10% or more of a Bills crowd. That is a significant amount!

I have both of our games with the Pats still on the DVR and will be watching both of them before Saturday! We hung around with NE that entire MNF game. All we needed was 1 stinking big play, all game long, to get it in the end zone and we win the game. Jones could never distance the Pats from us.

BB's excuse last year would have been that he didn't have a QB, which is pretty much accurate.

I would be surprised if he doesn't dial up a lot more pressure on Josh, as opposed to what he did the last game. His "hang back" approach was pretty clearly a mistake and it didn't work. I think he'll try to get more pressure on Allen.

I think the team has decided that Bates is a better choice at Guard than Feliciano. Not sure Feliciano will see that position again, unless due to injury. I think (and hope) it all changes this off-season anyway with some new blood and maybe position reassignments.

We can do that by getting out to an early lead and scoring TDs, not FGs. Throw 14 on the board quickly and let NE fear not being able to keep up. Might make them totally change their game plan. If/when Mac Jones has to sling it (in negative wind chills) we will get an INT and their goose will be cooked.

That's an interesting question, but I've never heard of something like a football game being called off for cold. Of course, we do have lightning delays purely due to concerns about fan/player safety, so I guess it's possible. When it gets down into single digits with negative wind chills, you are definitely dealing with cold that can kill you! But think of all the really cold games that are routine in Green Bay, Chicago, or Minnesota in the old days, and none have ever been postponed or cancelled to my knowledge.

You will have the privilege of having attended the coldest and second coldest Bills games in franchise history!

As many have said, first and foremost it's the weather. This isn't going to be normal Buffalo winter that WNYers are immune to. This is going to be a FRIGID experience and that is enough to keep people away. Secondly, it's tough for Canadians to come over the border, and I'm sure they represent a solid % of most home crowds.

I watched the entire game. Not sure why. I did watch "tape delay" so I could zip through intermissions and commercials. I always watch late for that purpose! And now UPL is gone week to week and Subban is gone MONTH TO MONTH. We can't keep goalies healthy. We are most definitely on our way to a bottom 5 finish. We're 28th right now! 5 from bottom. That's gonna get worse with no goaltending.

Sounds cool but I don't really see the correlation with Josh specifically. He's more like the leaping condor--guy is so tall and gangly the way he holds the ball out there in 1 hand...and he LOVES to jump over anything in his way.
