Bills' Uniform on Sunday Night vs. Packers: Blue on Blue
Nextmanup replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm guessing what uniforms we wear from week to week have absolutely nothing to do with Von Miller. -
In Buffalo, sitting in the shade the whole game is bad, not good, most of the season. In Miami? Not so much.

Week 8: SNF Packers at Bills (-10.5) 10/30 8:20pm

This tweet is now a bit over 24 hours old. So I guess that trade was NOT minutes away from being announced. -
It is a misnomer to assume it is all about the QB running these days. That's a part of it, but make no mistake, ALL of the top quarterbacks, most of whom are mobile, are first and foremost very good passers. The one who isn't IMO, is the weakest overall QB of the bunch, despite being the best runner: Lamar Jackson. You have to not only be able to throw in this league to be a top QB, you have to do it exceptionally well.

What is different this time around, for me, is that this team feels a LOT BETTER than the SB teams.... We also have a much better defense this time around.

Why do some Bills fans refuse to have confidence in this team?

Gee I wonder.... Zero championships since the merger Four consecutive Super Bowl losses, three in embarrassing fashion 17 year playoff draught thrown in for good measure Wide right 13 seconds How's that for a start? -
I think the Jets are the better team this year, so I would prefer NE to win the game.

Doesn't seem like anything special, but nothing bad about it. The "velarium" is a nice touch. I like how it is enclosed and the entire stadium provides a secure little world around the field. "Open" stadiums where you can see out of them in places suck.

The commentary from the brothers Manning was hilarious...

Ryan Wood, who covers the Packers for USA Today, said today with Schopp and Bulldog: "In all my years following this team [GB], I have never been more sure on a Wednesday that this team [GB] is going to lose on Sunday." 😂 -
Bills' Uniform on Sunday Night vs. Packers: Blue on Blue

I like all blue. Blue on top of white pants is my favorite, but all blue is good. Don't like all white. -
Happy Birthday! Have a beer for me.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. That's the only one worth mentioning! All that great music from Vince Guaraldi and Schulz's amazing art on display.

Aaron Rodgers … Leadership for Dummies

Regarding your Point #3, keeping this behind closed doors....I assume he's already tried that route and feels he isn't getting anywhere, so he's deliberately taking his complaints public to create a little leverage. I don't blame the guy for wanting to win. -

OMG...I totally forgot that show existed. I used to watch it and really enjoyed it. I always found it to be consistently funny, which is hard to do. -
NFL Week 7 - Around the NFL - Gameday thread (Bills have bye)
Nextmanup replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm in West Palm Beach area, and this is effectively NYC South. There are ENORMOUS numbers of New Yorkers living here either full time, or during "Season" starting around now. The snow birds. The Jets/Yankees/Giants hats and those brutal accents start showing up. Anyway, Jacksonville isn't like that so much; it's much the "true" FL up there and red neck land. People speak with southern accents and what not. New Yorkers aren't going into that atmosphere so much. Which makes the crowd situation all the funnier. I suspect NYers from all over the state who care about football made the drive to enjoy the game, and I suspect tickets are cheap and easy to get. In all fairness, all sports leagues are FILLED with franchises that are just happy to be there, and are NOT really concerned with winning. The Sabres and Bills are two good examples of such franchises, for MOST of their history. Buffalo sports fans should know what I'm writing about. -
I swear to God, I have a gut feeling that we are going to absolutely DESTROY Green Bay. I mean it is going to get ugly!

Refs asking Mike Evans for Autograph

Totally disagree. It's just an ethical violation from top to bottom, totally unprofessional, and absolutely should not be allowed. If this thing blows up, there will be a new rule outlawing it. -
My biggest interest is WWII -even greater than the Bills.
Nextmanup replied to Chandler#81's topic in Off the Wall
I am also passionate about military history in general, and WWII history (ETO) specifically. Nice to see this veteran doing well; they are dying fast now. -
Broncos getting trade calls for Jeudy and Chubb
Nextmanup replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's because no position on the field (other than QB) translates to wins more than a stud WR, and adding another TOP WR to this roster now is perceived as a move that would put us over the top. Take a great offense and make it literally indefensible. You know, a last minute, trade deadline kind of move designed to get a championship here and NOW. If we can acquire some backup OL talent, I'm in favor of that too. If one or 2 of our guys goes down, having better replacements could be the difference between winning the SB and NOT.
