home schedule rough this year. 4 home games after Dec 1. pretty unusual.

Without Star , Mac won't be throwing much as that massive O line and Harris will be doing pretty much what Indy did. The frozen quiet as NE runs for 200+. 7 or 8 total possessions on offense (maybe). In bed by 11. Thanks Star. 2020 all over again. Good job. If you can't stay on the field, Beane won't have much mercy this time.

Harrison Phillips playing through torn PCL
ProcessTruster replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
tough break in a contract year.. no way he could get it repaired.. would have ended his career... which might be over anyway, but he had no choice but to play through it.. man, NFL careers are short. He's in a tough spot. Needs to get it fixed, but cannot afford the time off if he gets it fixed.. yikes. -
yeah, the whole "next man up" is a bunch of garbage. with the salary cap what it is, the "next man up" is as often as not some league minimum salary guy and a steep dropoff from the high paid starter. Also, this is a reality we will need to get used to once Josh's cap hit kicks in. time for McD to pick his best pass rushers and keep them on the field longer than he does now

Top FA Veteran CB's available
ProcessTruster replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
training camp is over... its a week to week grind at this point.. familiarity is probably more important than anything now... plug and play is the watchword.. so, probably rolling with their PS and guys who have been with the team this year... time to rush the passer more effectively... -
Looks like we are going to find out all about Dane Jackson now. Bills do play a lot of zone, plus I assume the offense will carry the team anyway. As the offense goes, this team goes. Give me a better run defense and a high scoring offense; that is probably most important. If CBs become an issue and Zone D increases, maybe McD goes to more pressure on the QB to compensate. One guy going down won't kill the D; there are options.

nah, just give me Feliciano, Brown and Star back and then see what they can do. Those guys are key players on this team and they are all out. Shame on these 20-somethings for not vaxxing. It's a high, close contact environment; they are letting the entire organization down.

My thoughts from attending yesterday’s game
ProcessTruster replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, figure out how to get past the Saints under the dome (yay!), get all your guys back for the MNF game, and then go from there. 0-4 in turnovers you can't win against anyone in the NFL. Pretty simple. That McKenzie fumble was key; a replay of the punt block that turned the Steelers game. Their must be a stat out there correlating turnover TDs with losses. I'll bet the correlation is pretty tight. -
Bills/Colts loss was what it was (a ball security failure game-- those happen) and also somewhat predictable with our key tough guy linemen taking themselves off the roster by choice , the more important Q is when can they come back? Specifically, do fans get to know if Star or Brown have Covid? Or is the "Covid List" some mystery designation and the league determines when they come off? My point is, if they have Covid, that's bad and players could be out for weeks and weeks (see Dion Dawkins), if they were exposed but did not get it when can they come back? Are they out for Thursday as well? Seems fans don't really know what's going on with the "Covid List". Maybe it is just me. I predicted long ago that the impact of non-vaxxed players was the largest existential threat to this season's level of success ...and this risk is starting to become reality. If the Bills lines get beat up again on Thursday and we have two losses in 5 days, Star and Brown are at least partially responsible bc to me this wound is self inflicted and the hard vax effectiveness data says was highly probably avoidable. Still boggles the mind that key participants in a large roster team high contact sport can choose to pull themselves off the roster, screwing the team in the process. Again, is what it is, but McBeanes must be pissed. You draft/sign talent, and then they stab you in the back.

I can see Taylor running free today and Josh getting beat up ... a lot of key injuries... backups are not very good on this roster. not good. we shall see. go bills -
MNF gonna be great Dec 6. Can't wait. The Mafia needs to show out that night. Games like that are what make the NFL.

I'd rather beat them on MNF with the Division lead on the line. Now that would be cool. Pats had a great roster last year and would have competed for the division had not 12 key guys do the Covid op-out. So Bills fans need to realize that the Pats did not go anywhere post-Brady. Their roster has been solid and they have some of the best coaching and front office work in the league. I want to beat them straight up with a team that wants to be out there beating a team that seems to be in fear of the coaches/organization. No backing into the division hoping that a crap Falcons team helps us out. That is a lame approach. Our team can compete with anyone when healthy, which they now are. Go Bills.

Jets sign Rachad Wildgoose off the PS
ProcessTruster replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Putting aside the QB issue, which I'm not sure they've solved (maybe they have), the Jets have a solid roster, they just have so many guys out injured they look like crap on the field. If the Bills had that many key guys out (eg, QB, #1 WR, LT, starting secondary, etc) we'd look like crap on the field too. -
Did the Jets game really prove anything????
ProcessTruster replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Mims, Becton, Mayes, Wilson etc etc all out, the Jets put a pretty thin roster out there Sunday. I was in row 15 and Jets looked slow and bad. That game proved nothing. -
Could be, for sure. The Monday nighter will be a big game vs Pats as that may be for the division. Away at TB as well. Looking forward to those games but the others should be pretty ho hum as far as seeing what we have. Jets game showed us very little as, for example, Diggs was put out there 1:1 with a 3rd team DB and freakin Mike ? White was at QB. So , ignore the Jets game. Lets see if the Bills lines get beat up v Colts like they did in the playoff game, that will help sort this out

First time seeing Josh throw it live at Jets game Sunday. Was in lower bowl watching and his ball just explodes out of there. Even the touch throws have zero float to them. Nothing new being posted here, just go see him from the first 20-25 rows sometime; its pretty cool as his throwing motion and release and ball flight are pretty special. BTW, the mafia really showed up on a cold as crap day. Also, Hundreds tailgating inside the NJ Transit main train station in the city while waiting for train to Meadowlands was pretty unique too (there is a bar in the station..putting 16oz beers in little carry away brown paper bags at 10 30 in the morning... only in NYC) .

Jon Gruden suing the NFL, Roger Goodell

the whole thing teaches an important lesson: be careful what you say in an email as emails can be out there and accessible for a very long time once sent. -
I would think if 6 guys are dropping most downs, BD/JA just need to be patient and take the WR pitchouts, Dump offs to RBs and running plays and just move it downfield. QB draws work well also. they'll get caught with man once in awhile and the above gets crushed, but Josh needs to be smart and throw it away. No hero ball picks and no hero ball fumbles and they win against Jax .
