  1. IMO the run game will be critical in a night game at Arrowhead with 80k screaming fans. Has Josh ever played in a circus environment like that? Not sure. If he is forced to throw it 40+ times it will be a supreme test. Not sure one he can pass. We will see.
  2. one that scores a sh-t ton of points, as we will be giving up a sh-t ton of points. Should be a wild one. KC crowd will be absolutely nuts. Biggest challenge of young Josh's career for sure. We could win a tight one and just as easily get blown out in the first half. Really hard to tell. Breaking new ground Sunday night. Go bills.
  3. "Mahomes is getting the ball out quicker this season, funneling the ball to Kelce and Hill (his first reads), but his stats really drop off a cliff when he's forced to hold onto the ball longer/go through his progressions and especially when he is pressured (again both changes from the last couple seasons where his splits weren't nearly as bad" Bills will need to play a awful lot of man coverage to allow pass rush to get there. With Milano likely out or limited and the Bills primarily a zone pass defense , gonna be difficult to pressure Mahomes into a 3 second plus release timing. In other words, since he eats up the blitz, he only way to get pressure on Mahomes is to play man to man coverage , which the Bills, in general, don't have the players (by design) to play (including TWhite who is not a press man cover guy). KC won't get the big play, bc McD's defense takes it away, but the short passing game + YAC should be there all night. It seems KC's defense has fallen off, so look for this thing degrading into a shootout, with last possession winning.
  4. I want the franchise to be competitive, go win games big and small, and get to and win a SB or two. Couldn't care less about power rankings and personal beauty contests. For example, you think Edmunds is a two time "pro bowler"? Didn't think so. The beauty contest sh-t takes care of itself if your team takes care of business. All three QBs are terrific and amazing to watch, along with Joe Burrow and a couple others. The DNA fit stuff is irrelevant to the issue at hand. Let's go find a way to beat KC as a team. The media beauty contest judges will follow.
  5. We just played three straight games against QBs who should be nowhere near a starting lineup. That's my thought. I hope not, but a good chance this board will be pissing all over itself next Monday morning (and not bc Star was in the lineup or not). Not seeing the Bills with any more answers to the Chiefs than they had 9 months ago.
  6. Don't see this game as coming out well for the Bills. Home prime time for Chiefs. Looks like Davis and Milano and Poyer might be out or still limited. Still no answer for Chiefs D line. Mahomes too difficult to get to for a sack. H-ll, Bills couldn't sack him last year when he was on one foot. Hope I'm wrong, but Chiefs look to be built to be a bad matchup for what the Bills have. Dominant TE against the McD zone defense; quick release QB. Can't get in a shootout without Josh getting killed by the KC front 4. I still don't see it. As I say, hope I'm wrong.
  7. the guy was a top 100 draft pick for a reason McBeanes killing it in the draft again!
  8. Probably not. Especially without Milano. Likely need to do what they failed to do in the title game, run the ball successfully, as bills still have no answer for Chiefs front 4. Limit each other's possessions, try to keep the score close in the high 20's. If it turns into a shootout, the Bills O Line will get run over (again) .
  9. no they don't . Kelce will have a field day.
  10. I honestly could not give a crap about this game.
  11. Someone should start a poll to ID what percentage of regular posters on this board actually live in WNY. Pretty small percentage from what I can tell.
  12. so they win against jacoby brissett, taylor heineke and some rookie who has started 13 games since high school and now you are declaring the Bills SB bound? Yikes. Let's see them against some legit competition and see where we are then, shall we?
  13. nah, but I have that unconscious, on the dead run 35 yard foot off the ground end zone strike on the first drive of the game from 5 different angles if you'd like that... MVP, MVP
  14. Ford had one one of the worst PFF ratings 40-something on Sunday, giving up 12 pressures . Luckily, Josh scrambled out of it most times. Beane will continue to address in next years draft I am sure.
  15. Not sure why it was gone until now, but it is back.
  16. why waste your breath on them
  17. The Pats are just flat out good. They would have been a very tough out last year had a dozen starters not opted out. Both Pats games will be dogfights.
  18. Bills will need a heckuva lotta help to have home field throughout. Honestly don't think the roster is strong enough to get there. Love Josh, but Mahomes is in another category. Sweeping the Pats won't be easy in itself. That will be a dogfight. Go Bills. Don't try to figure it out.
  19. will never understand why Beane swapped him out. we had the two best legs in the game and let one of them go. Must be something underneath the bojo release we are not aware of... not buying the cap hit excuse..
  20. good for him... playing in NYC such a pain in the arse. their super fired up coach Salah is already choosing his words carefully.... so screwed
  21. Offense is key. Happy to win every game 35 - 30. The way to get to and win a SB in todays NFL. IMO, No one stopping anyone cold in today's NFL, barring QB getting knocked out early in a game (which puts the backup in a bad way as they've had no reps with starters).
  22. Injuries to key players really make a difference in NFL games. Looks like the Bills get a break for two weeks. We'll take it. Will need it later in the season when our guys are hurt. Its a long season.
  23. you mean front 6. Bills play nickel on almost every down.
  24. 35-0 says it all for me
