  1. Should be a decent game on Dec 6, MNF. Coming up for that one.
  2. exactly the position groups where quality not available at this time of year. Offseason focus. See you in April. Plus Beane needs to start really sweating the salary cap, so guys on rookie deals will be a priority going forward. But he drafts well, so not so concerned there. More O lineman being drafted in the spring for sure. Josh isn't going anywhere. The SB window will be open for a few years.
  3. ah, Bills Mafia turns into Bills Firing Squad, as predicted. Let me see... yep, I can set my watch to 5:51pm. Even after a win. So predictable.
  4. no. go build the O line in the offseason.
  5. Well, you'll get your answer in a few weeks. Bills will be very competitive with whoever they play this year, that's as far as I'll go. Every game is different.
  6. worse. way worse. Bills Mafia/This Board turns into Bills Firing Squad after every loss, without fail. You can set your watch to it.
  7. works for me. i agree. McBeanes are the best.
  8. many of the replies look a lot like the pre game "we'll kill 'em" posts pre-Titans. how'd that turn out? All games are competitive in the NFL, until they are not. Bills starting to get banged up. the O Line that got beat up in Nashville will be even weaker Sunday. go play the game . we shall see. go bills.
  9. Was at McFaddens for a game 2 years ago, definitely all Bills, all day. Good spot. Ooops, just checked, McFaddens is closed permanently.
  10. Nah. Bills can compete with anyone right now. Bring 'em on.
  11. ... he has exactly one more SB ring than anyone on our team
  12. nice. wow. jetlag, what jetlag?
  13. not sure on that one... been in DC area 30+ years and if there's one thing Snyder loves it is his beloved childhood team. Plus I believe it's all he has, don't think he will let it go. It's not like he has other Biz interests of any import, the 'skins are it. The league will stop well short of forcing a sale (not sure they can do that anyway without a ton of evidence) as he has dirt on them as well.
  14. Heading up to the NJ Swamp for Bills/Jests next month. Anyone know where the Mafia typically congregates at MetLife stadium? Parking Lot numbers, any other info? Or is better to bar it pregame and take the LIRR out there? Thanks !!
  15. yep, no one is letting a quality o lineman get away at this point... they will be going with what they have IMO
  16. yeah something like that ... I can see a couple more losses for sure. Big nasty D Lines will be torturing our O Line for the rest of the season.
  17. boy if that photo doesn't send you packing south nothing will.... gotta work hard to see the romance in that shot. Good job posters. I sure don't miss those WNY winters.
  18. Lets see how the year plays out and go from there.
  19. I've posted this many times over the years, first as 8&8 Forever and now as ProcessTruster; "when you live in a glass house, don't throw stones".... Don't be so fast to crap on other teams and their misfortunes, simply bc your team has won a few games and looks really good (which they do). Bills haven't accomplished anything yet. KC has accomplished a heck of a lot more than the Bills have in the past 3 years. You can start gloating when the Lombardi is in house. Long way to go.
  20. Learned a long time ago not to read and re read what you put in email. If you write something in anger, leave it in your drafts folder, go to bed and look at it again in the morning. I don't recall ever sending one of those out. If I could only apply that logic to this board, I'd be all set.
  21. When Rex Ryan, Reggie Ragland, Shaq Lawson and their 3-4 defense left town, the 2 big thumper inside LBs scheme went with them. Get used to it. LBs in McD's defense are like big strong safeties in the old NFL world. Cover, blitz on occasion , fill your gap on run plays and then go cover some more. Gang tackle, make them go the length of the field. Not many 3 and outs. Keeping a fresh aggressive front 4 is key to this defense. Allows nearly 7 in coverage, good idea in todays NFL. Derrick Henry might make some good yardage against this D, but he is the exception to the rule in todays NFL. Old school Butkus fans won't like it, but it works.
  22. wow, that guy is still in the league?
