This still hurts so bad to watch.

we have to be all in on Von being Von again. If he is, floyd is a luxury we just couldn't afford to have again

Value: Safety is the new Running Back?
Man with No Name replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I probably watched Bob Sanders more than the others, so I am biased. When that guy was on, he was as big of a difference maker as any defensive player I have ever watched. He was probably only ON like that for a grand total of around 20 games. Won them a super bowl though. -
Are we looking at it all wrong, esp. With Josh Allen?
Man with No Name replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
if we go back to those days when allen is gone, i will probably start watching a team that is something like Joe Burrow's bengals. Like how I followed 10 years of Peyton Manning during our drought. And I'll be honest, that brought me a lot of heartache as well. No matter how good it is, you always want it to be better. The only thing that feels good enough is if you're guy is the best of his era. I so badly wanted manning to pass brady, and now it's wanting allen to pass mahomes. Getting just one won't be good enough for us. We will be right back to miserable when they get bounced in rd. 2 the next year. -
Looks like Baker Mayfield to become FA
Man with No Name replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably trying to get away with paying him nothing. He probably wants wants a Daniel Jones contract. And why wouldn't we? he is definitely the better player. but not every franchise is gonna be a sucker like the giants. Somebody like baker worth 30 million imo. Daniel Jones 20-25. -

Brady Effect: QBs playing into their 40's the new norm?
Man with No Name replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brees was still really good at 40, and pretty effective his last year at 41, despite not having any arm strength left. Rivers was still good at 39. he left to spend time with his family and because he really really wanted to be a high school football coach for some reason. 40 seems almost a normal end now, with quality seasons until almost the very end. with improving medicine, stem cells, less invasive surgeries, peptides, hgh, etc., it's easy to see mid 40s becoming more regular. I think more than anything it will be the desire rather than the ability that flames out prior to that. It is difficult to imagine that being the case, but im 42 now, and every year it shocks me how much i lose interest in something that brought me 30+ years of joy before. there just comes a time that the juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore. -
Shanahan is an all time choker. im sure he has hands all over whatever the defensive scheme was for the second half, and all crucial plays towards the end. he is a classic micro manager.
-
I read a lot of comments from 49ers fans talking about Shanahan like he is McDermott. I'm still in the McDermott is not good enough camp. What I'd like to know is who the 9ers fans think is going to be better than Shanny?

and people say that sarcasm is lost through text.

bad coaches have won super bowls guys. the stars can align for us once. we just aren't going to be a dynasty.
-
chiefs suck all year. suck for most of a sb game. and still just waltz into the end zone when they need it.
-
it's 20 years of the patriots all over again. it's maybe even worse because we're right in the middle of it.

should be able to do a laughing and puke face for posts like this. bravo

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Man with No Name replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol@ you throwing his 3.2 avg from his 4th year into a 3 year avg from his other lesser seasons to come up with that 3.9. immediately done reading your post as soon as i see that. that 3.2 stands alone. do not put it together with a 4.4 season and a 4.0 season which also included 59 receptions and 8 TDs -
How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
Man with No Name replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
For all the dummies out there, Diggs' cap hits over the next 4 years are: 31 mil, 22 mill, 13 mil and 4 mil. Definitely not getting rid of him this year. Not next year either unless he goes full Antonio Brown. Maybe 2026. Sorry, that was rude. -

But not too specific. when threads are too specific, they are in great danger of being merged with a 3000 page general info thread. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
Man with No Name replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
These people do not have the time to watch 4 quarters of 15 games every week. they are looking stat sheets and making up their own narrative. i stopped watching and listening to sports commentary a long time ago when i figured out that i knew more about my favorite teams than them. the only guys worth watching are those who actually know how to break down plays and understand the nuance behind the stats. -

Shady was great one year and good two others. His last year was bad, but he was old. that's what happens to many RBs as they approach 30. of course he was fantastic for several years with philly when he was in physical prime. -
Why the Josh Allen hate (draft reaction)?
Man with No Name replied to Gman10's topic in The Stadium Wall
But there never has really been such a raw talent that they nailed as a high first round pick like this...is there? Typically, people only know what they have seen before. Where did they see a Josh Allen before? Even a Josh Allen at a different position... -
Why the Josh Allen hate (draft reaction)?
Man with No Name replied to Gman10's topic in The Stadium Wall
It honestly impresses me that the scouts could see through the stats, over throws, etc. seems like a guy they would peg as a "RAW" talent and slot in a later round. but there was a pretty strong consensus that he was a top 10 guy. Though i wonder how many teams that obsessed over analytics wouldn't have seen him as anything more than 3rd round or worse
