CJ Stroud's uncontrollable crying.....
Man with No Name replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was his list from before this season, or very early in this season? Burrow didn't really have the opportunity to do anything last season, so not a huge deal. I think this is the season Burrow has proved he isn't going anywhere. Even Jalen Hurts looked like an MVP for a second. Only time can separate the best from the rest. -
CJ Stroud's uncontrollable crying.....

This is right on the line of an acceptable list. Obviously he's not better than Josh, but no problem with him betting on himself. Time has shown us that there is a very clear delineation between the top 4 and everyone else. It's that list, minus Stroud, plus Burrow. -
Well, I believe Baltimore was something like 11-9 with Tyler Huntley. So, ya, for sure somebody like Tyrod keeps them rolling. As far as whoever they have now, I don't know.

Had a Giants fan friend texting me this week talking about how Lamar and his 34-3 should be the MVP. Went on to say Jimbo only had 6 carries against the Rams and Allen is stat padding. response was 1) Lamar needs to give back his MVP from last year. 2) 8-5 doesn't get it done. If you want the MVP, BEAT the BROWNS. 3) if you think Allen is stat padding, you are clearly not watching the games. Thankfully, most of the country was watching the Bills in the past two weeks so they now see what we see and are able to look even beyond an already great stat line.

Never heard the stories. He was that bad, huh?

Can we give JOE Brady his kudos?

I wrote this same post, and then decided not to click submit. I think i got distracted doing something else. THANK YOU -

but that's probably not realistic as a forever scenario. And it's a huge reason why many feel the way they do about McDermott. Not because McD is bad. but because josh is gonna have to go through this again and again. While Mahomes continues to have his steady rock. -
The throw to Cook was almost impossible. He made it look easy.

That play is absolutely bonkers. I don't recall, were the announcers appropriately over the moon on that one? No issue if they missed one. I think they were appropriately complimentary of JA through the game.

Fans are allowed to be distracted. LOL

Every Bills fan should be on their knees every night thanking god for blessing us with Josh Allen, and praying for him to get the SB championship(s) he so much deserves. There was a time when every black family in America had a portrait of MLK and/or Malcolm X and many families had a portrait of JFK prominently displayed in their homes. In 2024, EVERY family in Buffalo should have a portrait of Joshua Patrick Allen displayed where every person who enters the home can see it and know the good quality and taste of the homeowner.

McDermott deserves praise for JA’s career year
Man with No Name replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry, McD owes too much of his success to Josh to ever get praise for "Josh's career year." BUT, as for other debates in here, I'd be quite surprised if McD doesn't have a HUGE influence on who is drafted, what coaches are brought in, and what schemes the coordinators work on. McD has his strengths. I think even most of his critics here would agree he is at least a "good coach." The question is whether he is Marty Schottenheimer, Bill Belichick, or somebody in between. I think we all know he's not BB. We can only hope he is able to turn into something halfway between him and Marty though. Though hey, perhaps even Marty could have won a couple rings if he had Joshua Patrick Allen. -

What i mean by good is that they weren't throwing flags. 80% of the flags they throw are completely unnecessary. -
12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game 2nd half Thread

the refs were very good in the first qtr. just pathetic the rest of the game. one of the worst holding calls ive ever seen. -
need to watch again, but johnson coming off the WR looked like huge mistake. was goff otherwise contained without Johnson going that way, or did the lions basically have a 2 on 1 there?
-
Darnold is gonna be a target for any team that doesn't have the proverbial "HIM." Minnesota has a big decision on their hands.
-
He's worth 30. unless they think there's somebody better out there.
-
Purdy does not have a healthy shoulder this year. He is probably worth a Baker Mayfield type contract. It was nice of him to reset the NOT Allen, Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow market after what the Giants did with Daniel Jones. Of course, then there's Tua!

I don't mind looking at the rushing record in the context of modern era. It was a different game when Dickerson and OJ were running. But anyway you look at it, he needs to outdo the guys on this list from the past 20 years, within the first 16.

Did Josh like the call at the goal line?
Man with No Name replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are games where we are automatic for 2 yards every time on the tush push. But we got stuffed earlier in the game, and then just barely converted when we had like half yard to go. The Rams had already showed they matched up very well on that play. It was a huge mistake. Had they gotten great pushes throughout the earlier part of the game, I wouldn't be quite as down on it. -
we are normally money from one yard out with josh. but earlier in that game, we needed one, and the Rams made us take two shots to get it with the sneak, and we still BARELY got it. Same exact thing happened with a minute to go. McD, Brady or whoever should have learned from what happened earlier in the game. The Rams interior D Line matched us too well in those obvious short yardage spots.
