  1. Allen blowing the 3rd downs. can't complain about the plain calling when the big ones are there for you
  2. We're all mad at Brady, but are we not in agreement that Josh screwed up the 3rd down play?
  3. QB draw was stupid, but Josh made a terrible pass to Samuel from what I could see.
  4. Lamar is playing lights out this year. Last year he was typically awesome, but not necessarily MVP level. But nobody else was either. To the people who can't help but see racism in everything, Lamar had a season of 16/13 TD/INT AFTER he already had a breakout season. nobody's comparing him to Ryan Leaf, but he had some definite weaknesses in his passing game for awhile. Still, even when he had those weaknesses, he did a great job staying within his strengths and still giving his team it's best chance to win. Of course he is complimented by one of the best HCs in the league. But like Brady, he's the one on the field doing it.
  5. he has always been great at staying within his strengths. And now he has WAY more strengths. He has improved a lot. It's not questionable.
  6. almost voted this up but took it away because im sick of this stupid "giving flowers" phrase😅
  7. jackson is the MVP right now. No question about it. 7 games left. He was not the MVP at this point in the season last year.
  8. Von was in on the final play. He made a pretty good rush at Tua. Starts around 13:30 here.
  9. the lack of pass rush was very noticeable on the Dolphins game tying drive. Obvious passing situation and Tua gets a perfect pocket for seconds. You don't always get the sack, but you would like to see a guy eventually beat his man even if it's too little too late. I thought Von looked okay on the very last play, the 5 second play. He went past the pocket and then came hard back towards the line as Tua flipped the ball out.
  10. Pickens has next level hand eye coordination and tracking. His eyes and hands just always find a way to the ball. Well, that's what I get from watching about 6 qtrs of steelers football this year. I see a skillset in him that I haven't ever seen in any bills receiver. That's not to say our best guys haven't been better than him in different areas. idk. he is really talented.
  11. Diggs hurt the team while he was here, and after by forcing us to get rid of him under that ridiculous contract. I don't feel sad for him. A concussion or something that would have a major effect on his long term quality of life, I would be sad for. Not this. It's just something that happens in football.
  12. This is how I see it. You are allowed to shift the ball around without "losing control." This is a weird one, and I ABSOLUTELY see why some people are saying no catch. But I think that's arguable. And I think by the letter of the law for being able to overturn a call on the field, the call could have and should have stayed. as much as they'd like to be able to, you just can't make everything objective.
  13. kicks were all short yardage yesterday, but he was kicking them hard, high, and straight. up over the net. he looked good. some people have a real and measurable response to fight or flight situations, which can't be observed until they are actually put in that position. His job was on the line, and he responded. Let's hope this is real. I don't think anybody wants to see the Bills HAVE to move on from him.
  14. exactly. the first 10 yards after a stumble SHOULD be faster than the first 10 yards from a dead stop. For example, the greatest sprinters in the world hit their first 10 meters out of the blocks in around 1.8 seconds. the second ten meters only take around 1 second. there is a MUCH greater speed penalty for being in a standing start than coming out of a stumble, where you are probably still at something like 1/2 to 3/4 speed.
  15. I don't think he's moveable until after next year. https://overthecap.com/player/tyreek-hill/4878
  16. As far as the Cook play goes, as usual, CBS DID NOT give us a good look from the proper angle. so who the heck knows. The announcers didn't even mention the elbow at all. Production and spotting continues to be ABYSMAL this year.
  17. Allen has strengths and weaknesses. When something like 9-30 happens, there is blame for him to take obviously. but he knows how to play football. The coaches should understand his skillset. IT IS UP TO COACHES TO PREPARE THE PLAYERS TO EXECUTE.
  18. we are very lucky to have Josh Allen, but i think most of know that, so we are not spoiled. For having him, the results have the past 6 years are a baseline for what you might expect. Maybe even an over performance. We haven't been spoiled. We've endured all the same gut punches we have over the previous 25 years. spoiled compared to Jets or Browns fans? Okay. that's not normal. WE ARE NOT SPOILED. And to think that is almost like a stockholm syndrome or battered wife syndrome type of thing.
  19. And how much of the Hollins overthrow was on him vs Hollins very clearly not having any tracking ability? He looked like a high school soph searching for that ball.
  20. so that would be a combination of "Brady is in way over his head" and "this is the worst WR group ever." 9 for 30 is historically bad. so we are talking major problems. this isn't merely "just a bad game" we were something like 5 to 8 completions away from "Just a bad game"
  21. the 9 for 30 is the most worrying thing to me. It shows that either Brady is in way over his head coaching an offense, Allen is regressing badly into the downside of his career, or we have the worst receiving core in the history of the nfl. maybe some combination. It is ridiculous that something like that can happen. Clearly the team is NOT prepared. A lot of people can come up with a playbook, but how do you adjust when you're hit in the mouth. apparently we don't. at all.
  22. if he was lucid, what would a neurologist see? Not sure whoever would have been looking at him would have seen the footage from CBS. In fact, how much did CBS show or talk about in the first place? I wasn't really paying attention to the game, but I had it on, and did not realize or think anything was going on there.
  23. Oh, you didn't know the Bills Bars have the most perceptive and analytical fans in the nation?
  24. Every broadcast I've seen this year has done a terrible job with replays in general. They aren't showing what teams were trying to do. They aren't going back to missed catches to see if it should have been caught. They seem to have less clue than ever when flags are thrown. It would appear they have cut back on spotters, cameramen, etc. I guess when you are paying guys like Brady 36 mil per year, you have to cut costs somewhere.
