Yes, Kelly had some clunkers in there—I was at the 1993 brutal shutout loss to P-Burgh, a forgettable Monday night affair (he was knocked out of by injury), that also showcased the worst of the drunk 3Rivers crowd and helped cement my loathing of that franchise …and yet we went back to the ‘Bowl while they sat home after an early playoff exit. To the OP’s point, it’s not a straight line up, even with HOfers. We know Josh has the intangibles, the tools, abilities and coaching he needs in order to regain full game consistency, and I fully expect that to happen.

Despite all the handwringing, and I get it, he needs to play more consistently, Allen still made throws prolly 95% of the other QB’s in the league can’t make on their best days. The TD to Diggs where first of all he should’ve been sacked but sidestepped like a boss with no panic, and then flitted to the sidelines where he showed patience the likes of which would put a Venus fly trap to shame…before uncorking a ridiculous opposite field pass to Diggs…just, wow.

Line of the day from the broadcast was Sal piping in from the sideline with, “The Dolphins fans are heading for the exits, and the Bills fans are heading for the front row” 😁

Interesting article, I didn’t remember any of that with RC at the time, and also didn’t know that either Brady or Roethlisberger have punted in NFL action.

Misery loves company however, so I do find some of the posting to be cathartic, and laugh at some of the more ridiculous takes—that said, definitely a better place to be overall after a W. Doesn’t mean I still don’t log in daily either way!
