  1. A brave post! But one I agree with. Browns are a damn good team and if Mayfield continues to improve will be really tough to beat. They've also got the Steelers monkey off their backs and I'd be surprised if they didn't win that division with ease
  2. This is the part of the draft I really love. Which one of these guys will become the fan favorite during training camp?
  3. Hmm, color me unimpressed. Sure, it's a solid enough name that evokes a hard working insurance salesman ("hey, honey, Jack Anderson is coming over to tomorrow with those forms we need to sign") but it's a little lacking for a modern day NFL player. After the movie poster-worthy bombshell of WILDGOOSE earlier in the day I'm afraid Jack Anderson is a disappointing return to humdrum reality. The only chance this guy makes the roster is if he somehow earns a cool nickname, but I haven't thoroughly researched the young man's hobbies enough to see if there's anything that pops out at me. Final grade: F EDIT: I just ran this young man's name through an anagram maker and was given some alternatives that are worthy of at least being in the same room as Mr. WildGoose. Andrej Csonka cranked Sonja donnas jacker Jon ransacked Janka scorned AD canons jerk
  4. I think he goes OL or CB. I'd love a super speedy WR if any are there to be had
  5. Yeah the same thought did come to me but then I was thinking how many duds they've drafted through their glory years, plus even though they like to act like geniuses for drafting Tom, even Bill passed on him five times. It was a total shot in the dark that happened to win them the lottery.
  6. Wilson creeps me out, he's like something from a teen Disney romcom and I'd bet my bank account he waxes his legs and bikini line. Saying that, he's gifted and though I'd like to laugh at the Jets, they were doing the same thing when we drafted Allen. With the right coaching and the right environment you never know what might happen. Of course it would be hilarious to see him fail so I can see the crying on gang green
  7. So Chucky was not happy about getting wood? I hope Mayock gets fired, I kind of like listening to him during the draft
  8. 3 reasons I like Rousseau: 1 - it rhymes with Gastineau, and Mark was a damn good player 2 - it ends with Seau, and Junior was a damn good player 3 - it rhymes with Larusso, and Daniel was damn good at karate "Gregory Rousseau is gonna play? Gregory Rousseau's gonna play!"
  9. Excellent write up. I hate to say it but I am impressed with how the Jets are doing things now. A lot of mocks had them taking QB and then WR or RB, which would have been the splash, headline grabbing move. That's definitely what past regimes would have done but they got their QB and then went up to get a top lineman to protect him. With the Phins improving again and the Pats looking much better the East is going to be a real dog fight this season. I think a lot of the rivalries will end up split at the end of the season
  10. I agree about the fans in the chair. Looked bizarre and when Roger walked out it sometimes looked like he was visiting a mentally disadvantaged relative in a nursing home
  11. You get +1 for not saying "hear me out" but -1 for ending with "you heard it here first"
  12. I love this constant stream of tweets we get this time of year. These insider guys 'hearing' all this stuff. What an easy way to get retweeted, just tell everyone you heard a team is interested in a player. You don't have to back it up with anything.
  13. I trust Beane so much I made him godfather to my daughter. He'll be so pleased when he finds out
  14. I imagine Beane is at this very moment covering himself in war paint and strapping on his weapons like Arnie in Commando
  15. Seriously, this is great stuff. My usual draft tradition from the second round on is to wonder who the player is, look on Youtube and make a lightening judgment passed off of what I see. So it's good to see potential names to look out for
  16. Talib reminds me of Foghorn Leghorn when he speaks. "I say, I say" "Let me ask you, let me ask you"
