  1. I posted in the wrong thread. I'm watching redzone. It's strange, it is entertaining on one level but on the other level it just feels a bit like arena league. I find myself zoning out a lot and not particularly caring about what's happening
  2. I love those 'experts'. When the season started they had KC as the absolute class of the AFC. Then it was the Bills who were the best. Then it was the Chargers. Then it was the Titans, and now it's absolutely, positively, definitely the Pats. If the Bills win they'll go back to being absolutely the team to beat in the AFC. Not one of these guys has the guts to stick with their convictions
  3. Does anyone else ever think, if it wasn't for my longtime Bills fandom I probably wouldn't watch the NFL anymore?
  4. As bad as we've been over the years I cannot imagine what it must be like to be a Lions fan. No playoff win since 92. 1992!!!
  5. Every time my wife goes away on an important business trip she comes home pregnant
  6. Just make sure you watch the game on your own instead of with a crowd
  7. The score is 17-17 Georgia are 1 Alabama are 3 3 minus 1 = 2 17 + 2 = 19 Covid 19 I'm telling you man, it all fits
  8. It's upside down. Our logo is literally laying on its back. Isn't that a bad omen?
  9. So disappointed in the content of this thread. I read the title and hoped it would be the head of Tom Brady
  10. Rousseau should like it
  11. It is starting to sound like sour grapes now, and it does illustrate the effect the Pats have on our psyche. I include myself in that. So many years of beat downs have really screwed up our ability to look at them logically. I mean you just know the first flag that gets thrown against us on Monday night, even if it's legit, we'll all be screaming about Kraft paying off the refs, or the NFL wanting to see the Pats in the SB against Brady. And just typing that I've convinced myself that it's actually true and now I hate the Pats even more. See what I mean?
  12. This is a very good question and one I've been thinking about recently. We all know the misery of watching this team during the drought. Every week I'd be excited for the game, then 5 minutes in I'd be wondering why I was wasting my life when I could have been picking the cheese out from between my toes. Then Allen came along and I was interested again. Then last season happened and it became more than fun, I was hogging wild on so much of the media stuff, listening to what other fans had to say. It wasn't just that we were playing well but we were exciting and had a shiny new QB so many other teams were envious of. This season that feeling peaked with the KC game. I was wired after that game. Since then they've begun to sway back the other way. It's not just the losing but the way they've been playing generally. Penalties, mistakes, sloppy execution. That's the stuff I associate with the drought and I think it's triggered me to have those feelings creeping in again. Most teams have played the same way this season (look at the Ravens, despite their record). But I don't fixate on the other teams as much so I don't notice it as much with them.
  13. I approach the Bills games in the same way as I approach sex with my wife, it's sometimes painful but worth it for those times when it puts a smile on my face (it also helps to have a few beers before kickoff)
  14. Right now on paper the Bill's are more talented but the Pats are a better TEAM. But none of this matters. All the Bills have to do to prove themselves better and win back the confidence of people who have started to write them off is beat the Pats. It's all in their hands right now
  15. These Covid threads always go well
  16. With this game being in Buffalo, on a Monday night, the fans are going to be insane and the place will be jumping. If the team isn't more stoked than they've been in any game this year (barring possibly the KC game) then there's something wrong with them. I hope they come out with some runs and some short dump offs for Allen, just to calm him a bit because he's the one position you don't want too pumped and it's a given that he will be. This is the sort of game that if we win the toss I hope we don't defer and try to take the opening drive for a quick TD. Last thing I want is the Pats doing what Indy did and marching on us with a methodical drive, leaving Allen to get impatient and force something early.
  17. Sorry, I can no longer concentrate on your posts now that you've changed your avatar. It's like when Michael Jackson got a new nose
  18. Glad to see the Pats turned over the Titans. The media will be fighting over Mac's schlong this week and predicting a comfortable win against the Bills. The Bills can make a statement now by beating these guys. If they get beat up by this Pats team then they don't deserve to win the division and I'll have no complaints.
  19. To be honest it's more about the media. I know some people don't care what the media thinks, but I hate all the ball washing they do with the Pats. I want them to beat the Titans with ease so it's non-stop Pats love for the full week. Then I would love it if we beat them up in front of a national audience, with Josh playing a sublime game.
  20. I want NE to win because I want them overconfident when we play and I want the media riding them all week, talking about their genius coach and Brady-like rookie QB. I'd like the Bills to have that disrespected feeling going into Monday night
  21. His words were "Yet again, this is all on Beane" which sort of implies he's made a LOT of ***** ups. The guy has made mistakes like any GM, but he's also pulled this team out of the sewer.
  22. Yes, the man is just terrible isn't he. Someone fire him and bring back Buddy Nix
