  1. Good point. Too bad he's not a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE or anything.
  2. Straight up for OJ Howard
  3. Barkley said in the post-game press conference that he never in his life even practiced punting until pre-game warmups. I guess the consensus here is that the risk of injury made Barkley the most expendable guy in the building. Curious, 4 days before cutdown, that nobody was more expendable than your QB3.
  4. Cory Carter, late of the St. Louis Battlehawks. I thought he looked good when the Bills had him in camp, got cut down by a cheap shot in a preseason game.
  5. Uh, I think you missed my point. Bass DID play last night but only kicked off since the Bills never scored and never tried a FG. My question is why they had Barkley punting instead of Bass
  6. Biggest miscommunications since the 13 seconds
  7. I always assumed that the K practices as a backup to the P (and vice versa). Why didn't the Bills use Bass to punt? And what made them think that Barkley would be any good at it?
  8. Dan Pastorini is only 73 and Danny White is only 70. Sign one of them!
  9. But you have to do it in Pig Latin so the other team won't understand the play call.

  11. Probably taking the last train to Clarksville. And I don't know if he's ever coming home.
  12. and if so, can Tommy Boyce be far behind?
  13. It's the Laffer Curve of concession pricing.
  14. I think it means he can run 35 yards in 45 minutes, which impresses me greatly since I can't.
  15. agree It's the best sports writing since SI was in its heyday. I hate paying subscriptions as much as anybody but this one is worth it.
  16. Do you think we can get the mods to pin this topic? 🤪
  17. According to their web site, "The new taproom will continue to be a premier place for Buffalo sports fans to come and support their teams!" https://taprooms.stbcbeer.com/southern-tier-brewery-buffalo-72235d6a76d8
  18. He should go back to fronting for the Beach Boys.
  19. No, that's silly. On the second 2-pointer he called a very makable play that should be successful a large percentage of the time with good execution. On the first one he called a low-percentage play that even first-teamers have trouble executing in mid-season.
  20. Raise your hand if you knew they couldn't execute it. 🤚 That's a tough play with the 1s out there. With the 3s out there he should have called a play he thought they might be able to execute. Especially when Sean made it clear (by going for 2) that he was playing for the win.
  21. OMG, didn't you ever study history in school? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heidi_Game
  22. My favorite Rob Ray moment was when he got caught in the middle of a near fistfight between Lindy and the Ottawa coach:
  23. No mention of Ken Dorsey. He's a rookie too. I thought the play selection for the first two-point conversion was abysmal. And as for Steve Tasker, I realize that I've liked him on TV all these years because of how much I loved watching him play. Actually, he's really terrible on TV.
