  1. The Texans have a 1 game winning streak.
  2. In 1994 the Bills beat the 3 previous Superbowl champs. Of course it was the Bills who made them champs in the first place.
  3. Wow, that's a great website. I wasn't familiar with it. Now there goes the rest of my day...
  4. You think he'd be any good on television? 😂
  5. Maybe we can arrange for you to give the pre-game speech in the Bills' locker room next Monday night. By the way, do you stay up all night to watch these late games? For me they start at 3:30 AM so I DVR and watch them when I get up on the morning. It sucks to watch a game that's already finished but I'm too damned old and I stayed up all night for 4 straight Superbowl losses.
  6. Yes it was. Of all the bad coaches and front offices we had over the years, I liked Chan best.
  7. From today's Wall Street Journal: Craig Elston, who owns C&C Cutz in downtown Buffalo, said he kept his barbershop open during the storm and sent out a message on social media telling anyone without heat or power to come over. About 25 people came to the shop, he said. The first person who visited said he had walked for an hour after the heat and power went out in his house. “‘Let me in; I’m going to die,’” Mr. Elston said the man told him. Mr. Elston said the man had “frostbite on his fingers and his face was really red.” Mr. Elston said 10 people spent the night in the shop on Friday and nine on Saturday. Mr. Elston spent what money he had on Hot Pockets from a corner store that was still open. Full story here (paywall): https://www.wsj.com/articles/deep-freeze-envelops-u-s-for-another-day-11671982084
  8. Don't forget Peterman, he had a career game against us yesterday.
  9. Bills landed in Roch about half an hour ago. What are the chances that they make it home today by bus?
  10. They should do it Bills style. If my recollection is correct, the Bills yanked Trent Edwards from a game on a Sunday, and cut him eight days later. Cut him. Just like that.
  11. Sorry, Coffee, this was a poor imitation of the original. This happened in 2007, but the original happened in a Bills game in 1986. You kids have no sense of history! Here's the classic call:
  12. AJE made a really nice play to flush Fields from the pocket enabling Milano to make a monster one-on-one open field tackle. (Pretty good for a second-string Pro Bowler)
  13. Clearly wood socks would be a mistake
  14. I guess it's undergone an upgrade since Jerry Springer used to visit there with his checkbook.
  15. He's had exactly 2 targets since the Minny game (that's 2 targets over 5 games)
  16. Think where we'd be without Quez
  17. I wish Shady would tell us what he REALLY thinks
  18. You have to get Graeter's ice cream at Fountain Square (right downtown). Try any of the flavors with chocolate chunks and then come back here and thank me. Also a lot of nice craft beer places in Findlay Market which was a slum back in the 70s when I went to UC but now it's all fixed up. Last time I was in Cincinnati it was a random summer day and I saw a guy walking down 4th Street with a Bills shirt. So I said "Go Bills!" and he responded "Hey hey, Josh signed his extension!"
  19. Nice block by Scotty Chandler on EJ's touchdown. Kyle Williams gets a pick! And Freddy Jackson stiff-arms the same guy twice in the same play! Get that man a scepter!
  20. I'm reminded of the time that a reporter asked Doc Rivers about the details of one player's injury. He responded "You guys know Doc is just a nickname, right?"
  21. Well he can't sell it as "game worn"
  22. When you watch Sean's press conferences and sideline interviews, if you actually listen to what he says he seems to have mastered the art of the nonanswer. Now that I've started paying attention to it I find it pretty funny. Here's Laura Okmin's sideline interview with Sean after the first quarter of the Miami game: Laura: Mostert with over 100 yards. How do you stop the run? Sean: We gotta do a better job, playing with gap integrity, getting to the ball and tackling. Laura: I know you weren’t happy with that penalty right now. Big thing you were talking about, cleaning up penalties, fundamentals. How do you feel right now about that? Sean: Oh, we gotta do a better job obviously here. Laura: And offensively, Sean, you weren’t out there long but enough for Morris to get his first touchdown. Key to that drive to keep doing to keep that momentum going? Sean: I just think get into a rhythm offensively helps us. Frankly I love it. I'd prefer this to Mike McDaniel who talked so much between periods that they had to put him in a little box at the corner of the screen se we could see the actual game. Sean gives up nothing.
