A Few Thoughts about the AFC East Run, in no particular order

He's had exactly 2 targets since the Minny game (that's 2 targets over 5 games) -

I wish Shady would tell us what he REALLY thinks

You have to get Graeter's ice cream at Fountain Square (right downtown). Try any of the flavors with chocolate chunks and then come back here and thank me. Also a lot of nice craft beer places in Findlay Market which was a slum back in the 70s when I went to UC but now it's all fixed up. Last time I was in Cincinnati it was a random summer day and I saw a guy walking down 4th Street with a Bills shirt. So I said "Go Bills!" and he responded "Hey hey, Josh signed his extension!"

Nice block by Scotty Chandler on EJ's touchdown. Kyle Williams gets a pick! And Freddy Jackson stiff-arms the same guy twice in the same play! Get that man a scepter!

Sean McDermott - master of the saying nothing

I'm reminded of the time that a reporter asked Doc Rivers about the details of one player's injury. He responded "You guys know Doc is just a nickname, right?" -

Well he can't sell it as "game worn" -
When you watch Sean's press conferences and sideline interviews, if you actually listen to what he says he seems to have mastered the art of the nonanswer. Now that I've started paying attention to it I find it pretty funny. Here's Laura Okmin's sideline interview with Sean after the first quarter of the Miami game: Laura: Mostert with over 100 yards. How do you stop the run? Sean: We gotta do a better job, playing with gap integrity, getting to the ball and tackling. Laura: I know you weren’t happy with that penalty right now. Big thing you were talking about, cleaning up penalties, fundamentals. How do you feel right now about that? Sean: Oh, we gotta do a better job obviously here. Laura: And offensively, Sean, you weren’t out there long but enough for Morris to get his first touchdown. Key to that drive to keep doing to keep that momentum going? Sean: I just think get into a rhythm offensively helps us. Frankly I love it. I'd prefer this to Mike McDaniel who talked so much between periods that they had to put him in a little box at the corner of the screen se we could see the actual game. Sean gives up nothing.

Interesting Diggs Split Stat from The Athletic
Dan Darragh replied to inthebuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Try normalizing for down and distance and you'll find that you're down to 2 or 3 plays per case. Useless from a statistical point of view. -

11 plays is a miniscule sample size, this is meaningless drivel. -
Actually I agree with the OP and commented about this to my son who was watching with me. I think Sanchez is a good analyst and Kugler stuck to calling the game. Such a relieve from the clowns we usually hear like Nate Burleson (who was excruciatingly bad on Saturday's Minny game).

Levy originally was recruited to play football at Wyoming. He lasted one semester. "It was 24 hours a day," he said. "You'd come back and look at film, do this, do that. There was no time to study." A high school teammate, Dudley Simpson, sold Levy on Coe, telling him he could play sports and still have time to be a good student. https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/1/01/01/marv-levy-named-iowa-sports-hall-of-fame/2971611/

Best Way To Watch NFL Network For One Game ?????????????
Dan Darragh replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
You would need to sign up for the offshore version of NFLGP which carries all games and archives them. I'm telling you, I get better Bills coverage than I ever got in Rochester. -
Where do I sign up?

I hate the Bills Schedule - Is this done on purpose?
Dan Darragh replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us. -
And a nice Frank Gore reference to boot.

I asked ChatGPT why Buffalo Bills fans suffer, and here's the response that I got: It is difficult to say why Buffalo Bills fans may suffer, as the concept of suffering is subjective and can vary from person to person. In general, being a fan of a sports team can bring a lot of joy and excitement, but it can also bring disappointment and heartache. For fans of the Buffalo Bills, this may be especially true, as the team has not won a Super Bowl in its history. Additionally, the team has made it to the Super Bowl on four occasions, but has lost each time, which may be frustrating for fans who have been eagerly rooting for the team. Furthermore, the Buffalo Bills play in a competitive division, the AFC East, which includes the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets. This means that the team has to compete against strong opponents in order to make it to the playoffs and have a chance at winning the Super Bowl. This can be difficult and may cause fans to suffer if the team does not perform well. In summary, there are many potential reasons why Buffalo Bills fans may suffer, including the team's lack of success in the Super Bowl and the challenges of competing in a tough division. However, the concept of suffering is subjective and can vary from person to person, so it is difficult to say definitively why Buffalo Bills fans may suffer.

Did you know that Marv got recruited to Wyoming as a defensive back? He attended Wyoming for one semester before transferring to Coe because the coach who recruited him to Wyo left and he couldn't stand the new coach. So the Wyo-Buf connection has deeper roots than I had realized.

What was the furthest you traveled to see the Bills play?
Dan Darragh replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's a difference between "traveling to see the Bills play" and "seeing a Bills game while you're traveling. Did you come expressly for the game or were you on a long trip and you took in a game? -

6,000 miles. I've flown in from Tel Aviv (where I live) to see the Bills twice.
