  1. I was surprised to see Nsekhe on it with a groin injury. Williams was limited with a groin as well. If neither can go Monday night, do you think Bates will be the next man up? https://www.patriots.com/news/week-16-patriots-bills-injury-report-x8898
  2. The real question, to me, is whether it'll be Stidham or Newton or both. The Pats strategy on O will vary about 180 degrees based on who is in there.
  3. Jim Caldwell. Really like what he did with a hapless Lions franchise.
  4. Yes. Plus as soon as we falter (if we do) they can blast the Bills for making them look bad and say what a disappointment the Bills and Josh Allen are and we can never succeed with him as a quarterback. It's all about clicks and hot takes and lord help those that don't fit their narratives
  5. I'll be interested to see when they start resting guys. My guess is the Dolphins game but they'll be cautious with anyone injured and won't rush them back vs Pats. I agree that the record would be in jeopardy but the urgency might not be there in the last weeks to get them over the top
  6. But but but they might lose by 20 tomorrow and there goes that division crown ya know
  7. Per Chris Brown and others: The #Bills Elevated OL Jonotthan Harrison from the practice squad for Saturday's game at Denver. I have no understanding as to why but have to think he was about to get poached perhaps
  8. Let's see it again Saturday. Perfect trap game between the big bad 11-1 Steelers and a trip to finish off the Patriots after this one. I can see them lose focus on a short week against a non divisional team whose record isn't great. I'd love for the Bills physicality to be an every week, every game thing as we head down the stretch and into the playoffs. Tomlin's statements are great reinforcement for how the Bills are playing. Now let's keep doing it and make it an identity.
  9. The Bills ability to handle blitz pressure and to give Allen time to make decisions will be important. They need to keep Watt from taking over the game. Strip sacks or rushed throws into coverage could be killers. I sure as hell expect the Steelers to not sit back like the Niners did. To me though, it's about leading a team to wins. If Allen can do that, I don't care how many yards, tds he throws etc.
  10. After watching the 49ers sit back and get carved up I certainly expect the Steelers to blitz like maniacs most every down, especially with Dupree down. They'll try to speed up his decision making and force errors and hope for turnovers and negative plays. Need the O line to give Josh time. Windy, rainy weather might not be conducive to an all out passing attack either. Wish Pouncey was out another week.
  11. That's too bad. Most of them are total dopes who's opinions are almost solely formed with a recency biased based on the last set of highlights they watched
  12. The Bills run a 21st Century offense and have a star quarterback. It's the start of an era of unbridled optimism. Enjoy it!
  13. Can you imagine going from Rex Ryan to Adam Gase? Talk about a dystopian nightmare!
  14. Joey Bosa and Aaron Donald at the stadium this year and both were lights out
  15. With the passing offense we have, I don't want a snow game (or a wind game, or a rain game). 50 degrees, sunny, no wind, rain or snow will be fine
  16. I lived through all of it but wasn't as bought into it at age 6 and 7 in 1960 and 1961as I became soon thereafter. Thank you for sharing it! Enjoyed it and it brought back a ton of memories!
  17. I'll be really happy when they get their full complement of players back. I don't think they've had it all year. (O Line, linebackers, db's). Then let's see if they can make a run the last 6 games
  18. No. I'm thinking about the Chargers and what we can do to get better on both sides of the ball. I'm hoping getting a full compliment of players back on both sides, for the 1st time all year, can't hurt. Very much hoping the team isn't overlooking any other team. The playoff race is really tight both divisionally and in conference.
  19. Yes. I don't think this defense is good enough. I thought they might be a little diminished given the quality of the opponent quarterbacks this year vs last year but did not expect they'd be this mediocre on all levels. Clearly they need a 1Tech D tackle but there seems to be a ton of other issues. It would help if they'd get everybody healthy at the same time. I think their O is better than I thought for the most part despite the last few games. Again it would be good if they could get healthy on the O line, TE and WR all at the same time. They need a healthy John Brown.
  20. Seahawks 34-20. Nothing I've seen from this defense in 2020 encourages me
  21. Facing 6 and 7 DB's will have that affect. Now showing they can run the ball might make throwing easier again.
