  1. I'm happy they won. A win is a win is a win. That said, their defense is truly mediocre. Gashed in the run game over and over again. Very little pass rush. Given the investment they've made in the line, it is pathetic the return they are getting. There never seems to be any Bills around the ball when the opponent takes a hand off and heads up field. You can just tell it is going to be a significant gain immediately. They aren't winning at the line much at all. Anyone else have concerns that the new line coach might be an issue? They've had some issues in the past but this year it is weekly (except Jets games). Since they get no pressure with 4 guys they've needed to blitz more. This keeps exposing the secondary. Taron Johnson vs slot receivers has become a mismatch every week. Any kind of slant route seems open at will to opponents. Time to try someone else there (I know Cam Lewis was headed there till he got hurt but might be time to see if Dane Jackson is a possibility or trade for one by the deadline). I do not see good things ahead with this schedule. Watch out for the Dolphins. They have an easier schedule and a better defense
  2. I think Cam is speaking the truth from a Patriot's perspective. I don't see it as bulletin board material. Frankly it's what makes this game so important and why the Pats should be feared somewhat. I expect to see the Bills get their best game
  3. I'm not sure it offers either an advantage but am curious what others think
  4. One generic for both of them for me. If I need to see Covid player info I'll know where to look
  5. Going to be very very hard without Milano, White and Brown if they all don't play. The CB situation may be ugly. (Any idea how they'd use Marlowe and Neal if White is out)? I have no idea how Tennessee's secondary is but the Bills using 4 wideouts puts a lot of pressure on the depth other team's have. I think they'll need to score well into the 30's to win. Tenn 31-27
  6. Bass tackling the kick off return guy with nothing but open field behind him
  7. I'm an oldster and remember him well. Fans did yell "yoooo" then "ho" when he kicked it as noted above. Yoho also played defensive end for a bit too.
  8. I think some of the increased scoring can be attributed to the visiting QB's being able to hear, audible, re-set plays; tackles being able to get off on the snap of the ball and not a count late: no momentum for home teams when their fans are raucously cheering good plays and scores. Teams like the Rams that have lots of pre snap motion and movement catch a major break in playing in Buffalo without our fans there. Better QB play equals more scoring. Scoring is up all over the place. Running more collegiate type sets and colleges developing QB's who are familiar with it when they hit the pros helps too.
  9. Better find a way to stop the run and control play action passing. It hasn't been good for a while now.
  10. I realize it's a waste of energy thinking these things but I do think LA would have a tough time playing here with a full house. Goff and their O would really struggle making checks and audibles in this environment. Any kind of an edge could help in a game against as good an offense as they have. Hopefully at some point....
  11. Thank you for posting this. Much appreciated
  12. No. The Bills best weapons are their receivers. The backs are complimentary. The best teams beat you to death throwing the ball and can run when they have to and need to. The Bills have joined the 21st century for which I am extremely grateful and happy.
  13. Russell can think that about himself legitimately. He's a stud.
  14. Becton is really going to benefit from having no fans in the stands. Rookie tackle going against a speed rusher when he can't hear the snap count is at a huge disadvantage he won't have to face. I think Bell is going to get a LOT of carries and balls thrown to him. The Bills run D needs to be on point. Very much hoping Butler is healthy enough to play Sunday.
  15. Per Marcel Louis-Jacques: The Bills did not make any waiver claims but former Buffalo DT Vincent Taylor was claimed by the Browns
  16. I think it'll be Taiwan Jones. Could be why they picked up a practice squad RB too
  17. They didn't make arguably their best player beg. That is the sign of a good organization. They are rewarding their own. It encourages other players when they do that too. We have competent leadership and an ownership that'll write checks. It's encouraging
