  1. From the Bills officially: https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-announce-these-moves-to-get-to-the-53-man-roster-limit?fbclid=IwAR0z7arq5HBchJU1IFDphO3XmdxK-MbJ19sNjxw8vwZT93gB-l8RXe745y4
  2. The legendary Bertho Arnold and Sam Sanders from UB!
  3. I wonder if these pickups say something about the status of Phillip's recovery
  4. Washington Generals. There is a fine tradition with the name the Washington Generals and the Redskins recently have lost about as much as the Generals did to the Trotters
  5. Spencer Long. Veteran. Multi positional. Not much of a cap hit. Replaceable by other off season signings and it seems like vet lineman are always in demand
  6. Tre. Seems like a really good guy, funny, good teammate, hard worker, great player. Could be a long term captain on this team. The Goalie Academy by itself is reason eough for him to be my selection.
  7. One of my favorite QBs to watch of all time. I always feel like something is going to happen, good or bad when he is playing. Not saying he's taking a team as QB1 to a title but just speaking as someone who likes watching him play and the entertainment value of it. I know when he is "on" he can take apart just about anyone. He also can throw 5 INT's or the one killer int at any time. I'm entertained.
  8. Puff piece or not, I always like when they peel back the curtains a little and show you what is going on
  9. In reading the article, it certainly seems like the players are not likely to be on board with this proposal. I don't think, if baseball is to re-open, it will be based on this current proposal. Perhaps it is just a starting point. With major market teams in hard hit big cities like NYC and Chicago, I have a hard time envisioning a re-opening with fans involved as soon as July.
  10. I can't imagine them keeping 8 receivers, including Roberts, on the 53
  11. Spencer Long. He's position versatile at both center and guard and has been a starter in the league. The Bills have enough depth to replace him at either position more cheaply. Only a 700K cap hit for the year. He's better than both guys they got draft picks for last year and somebody always seems to need O linemen.
  12. Not about comebacks. Cerebral, not a huge arm, definite contrast in skills to the QB ahead of him, team guy. Could not care less if he becomes a head coach (though I've heard it speculated in interviews by those that know him that it is a path he may well pursue at some level)
  13. I didn't follow Iowa. How was the rest of their D line? Did he draw the brunt of the other team's attention? Will Epenesa, as he learns and develops here, be helped by the fact there are quality linemen around him? This is the deepest Bills D line I can ever remember. Solid NFL pros all over the place. Epenesa certainly looks the part and his attitude seems right. I like the fit here.
  14. Mostly because 99% of NFL teams find their kickers without wasting draft capital to do it. Doesn't mean it's wrong, just unusual. We'll see how it works out. The Bills once drafted Gary Anderson, who turned out to be on an all decade team and might still be the leading scorer in Steeler history, and cut him in training camp. Sometimes it's easier to evaluate kickers when they've been elsewhere and many times they perform better in games once they've had some experience.
  15. I hope they're right. Kickers tend to be found without giving up draft capital to do it. 71.4% percentage from last year doesn't encourage me (and that's not in windy New Era either). Plus, if he's the best kicker, wouldn't he have been the first drafted? With a team presumably gearing up for a major run this year do you want to trust the field goal kicking to a rookie kicker? I honestly hope he does great and we look back and say that was a genius pick. I just have my doubts
  16. I still don't get the kicker pick with the players Astro listed on the board.
  17. I agree with you. Thought they might add an interior O lineman since the Tackles weren't as bountiful after round 1. I like that they've added Oliver/Epenesa to the D line and Cody Ford to the O line so there are some younger guys. I think the O line needs more premium players to really progress from where it is now. I see it as being average at best and that might not be good enough.
  18. Lots of good and similarly rated players in the next 2 rounds. Might be worth a trade back to get 1 more of them
  19. They letting Doug Whaley post a topic on here? Big names!!! Whooo Hooo! The antithesis of the process and the development plan of Beane.
  20. 2 more weapons for Allen, even if on a rotational basis, both of whom have the capability of either taking it to the house with speed from anywhere or are valuable in the red zone. A defensive player to develop at the "big nickel" to help complete McDermott's vision for his defense
  21. CEH- I thought he was the best player in college football not named Burrow. Not sure he fits the Bills since he's Singletary 2.0 Van Jefferson Logan Wilson Antonio Gibson Jaylon Johnson
  22. They have so many moving parts on the O line I can't help but think they are going to trade somebody (or 2) by the end of camp if not sooner.
