  1. is this the equivalent of getting a participation trophy?
  2. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Imus back together again
  3. Cause he's a fat man right now
  4. Nope, just out classed yet again by the Pats. There's no magic playbook hiding in the bowels of New Era stadium just waiting to be unleashed in the playoffs. Say what you want, the Bills coaching staff is afraid of the Patriots staff, that's my only explanation. The Pats coaches make the Bills coaches second guess themselves and out-smart themselves. Once the Bills took the lead into the 4th quarter, they went straight into super conservative kill clock mode with 10-12 minutes left. They called off the dogs and did not even try to score points. It was 2-3 straight 3 and out run up the middle series, give the ball right back to NE who subsequently used those quick 3 and outs to score and take the lead in the game. Then when NE got the go-ahead TD when Burkehead ran over Alexander, the Bills pushed the ball down the field but it was too little too late. Good/great teams go for the jugular. That's not the Bills M.O. You can't just shut it down and lose all momentum against great teams and QB's. The Bills could have and should have won that game. But the Bills coaching staff does not have the stones to beat NE.
  5. I would play the starters and pull them is we have a big lead or down by a lot. I don't think going into the playoffs on a losing streak is the best approach for this team. I do think though, if a starter is dinged up and would be "questionable" or a game time decision, then sit them out, but if they are healthy, play them.
  6. I never understand why people think they will be greeted with candy canes and lollipops when they go to a big game versus a rival
  7. Because the Bills M.O. is to shut the offense down the moment they get a lead
  8. That's exactly what happened, as soon as the Bills get a lead, they shut the offense down. Then try to pick it back up again once they are behind.
  9. So the Pats line up their top DB on their best WR Smoke Brown every play, the Bills put their 3rd or 4th best DB on arguably the Pats best WR Edleman. One team is playing smart the other is out coaching themselves
  10. I'm almost certain all former Bills fans who have passed on would be loving this
  11. It's the playoffs, nothing will be "easy". Houston is probably the best match-up for the Bills, but they beat the Pats at home, KC at Arrowhead, played GB and Saints tough (both losses by 2 pts). They are streaky win good wins and bad losses, but Watson and Hopkins can take a game over enough to not make this game easy.
