Tyrod is fine if you don't mind a few 3 point games in a season. You like 3 point games and that's fine.

Beane not indicating Josh Allen will definitely redshirt
Lfod replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just think in terms of how much did Tyrod elevate the Bills w/l record when he was in Buffalo. I think twords the end of the season the Browns will be like meh lets see what Baker's got. -
It sounds scientific.

I think Tyrod will be benched for a rookie for the second time this season. No full redshirt year for Baker. -

Saying "somehow" is the equivalent of "against all odds". You still want Allen to have the mindset that he has a shot to win the starting job for motivational reasons. It's motivation for all 3 QBs. It's the Bills culture now. Earn your right it's there if you take it. None of you will have it handed to you and you always will have competition. I could say to you that you might look smart if you "somehow" make a good post. How does that make you feel? -
Anybody else have faith in AJ Mccarron?
Lfod replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have faith that AJ is motivated to be a starter. I can only hope that he will be successful. I am very skeptical about his chances to be successful. I wouldn't say my skepticism is completely because of him. My concern is that we don't have a foundation on offense. The offensive system in in a state of flux. It doesn't give me much confidence about Daboll having much to build upon. I don't think trading away Tyrod and firing Dennison was a fix all. It only left opportunity for others to come in and try to do better but that doesn't guarantee anything in my mind. I don't want to sound negative but I am skeptical about the offense being stellar out of the gate. I think there will be a struggle while everything solidifies and gels together. I'm just hoping that happens down the stretch. My expectations are low but one thing I'm confident of is that the Bills will have a dominant defense so maybe they can win games in the fashion they did last season. No I don't think AJ comes in and racks up stats and puts 21+ points on the board frequently. -
Yea I don't understand why they Merged that nonsense into your thread. Deleting the other thread would of been better choice. I call the other thread nonsense because of the approach the person had. Very combative.

They secret plan is to teach defense to score points. -
Is Beane making the same mistake Whaley made?
Lfod replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Using your logic McDermott running the show means he would take the blame. Meaning he would be shown the door first. They will fire Beane if McDermott runs the show improperly? -
I'm excited for Allen. I can't wait to see what he can do. I agree though about the red shirt. The guy is an investment and should be handled with care. He's not some afterthought thrown in when the offense starts tanking games. Although if he is a clear cut winner of training camp I won't be against starting him either.

I have to disagree slightly. The defense did have a bad stretch of games, but they also held the Panthers and the Jaguars to 10 point games. Plus they kind of forced a lot of turnovers. I wouldn't have said we were not very good on defense. Outside of that 3 game stretch the defense did it's job. Held Jets to 13 first game. (Great) Held Panthers to 9 (Amazing) Held Broncos to 16 (Awesome) Held Falcons to 17 (Superb) Held Bengals to 20 (Decent) Held Bucs to 27 (Not Great) Held Raiders to 14 (Spectacular) Boom 3 game stretch of awful. Held Chiefs to 10 (Supercalafragulidtic) Held Pat's to 23 (not great) Held Colts to 7 (Stellar) Held Dolphins to 16 (Great) Patriots killed them 2nd game 37 (Awful) Dolphins 16 again (Great) Jaguars held to 10 in a playoff game the offence didn't even play in. (Got the job done)

Awesome. Thanks you guys for helping me get to know this draft pick. Definitely excited to see him play! The highlights look sweet dude. Did he make Rosen cough up the ball? -

Thank you for saying this.

The Bills picked Luke Skywalker over Vader

So your saying that Rosen is Allen's father? -
Honestly go check out some post pick interviews with him. Then look at Rosen's feeling entilted to be picked higher attitude. I'm warming up to the fact we picked him now.
-
Nothing wrong with the take. Just after so many repetitive post it gets redundant. We know a lot of people didn't like the pick.

Well Beane made the pick understanding that he would be on damage control right away. He also made the pick knowing a bunch of fans would cry over it. At least he made the choice he felt was right and not the easy one. I'd pump the brakes a little but if you wanna set your hair on fire and run around in circles then do it. Thanks for another I don't like Josh Allen post with nothing new to add to the pile.
