Once you start Mayfield you can't bench him for Tyrod without looking very stupid. It works a lot better the other way around. You can't start Mayfield if you think there is even the smallest chance you will have to bench him for Tyrod.

I wanted to like this story more then I do. Still I give credit Bortles for spotting it, but the other guy made himself as obvious as possible. I think the story becomes about how stupid the thief was.

I kinda was let down last season that the offense couldn't form it's identity. That is what left me feeling skeptical moving forward. So before I even worry about any of the QBs on the roster looking good, I want the entire offenseive situation to get better. Hopefully Daboll is a wizard. This team is in need of an innovative OC. I want a team only focused on doing anything to score points and do it frequently. I have this fear they will have to turtle up on offense again. I don't want Shady running in to Brick Walls and having every ball checked down to him. These QBs are going to have to take what's given to them. Not the most ideal situation. They will have to take every opportunity because they might not come frequently. We could of went deeper in the playoffs if the offense was more bloodthirsty. I do believe it will happen when it's more assembled.

I think Russ Brandon got to comfortable. I've seen it happen with people. When a person has that mindset that they are so important they are untouchable. It's like a person never considers that other people take notice of nonsense. Not being involved with the situation I can only speculate and make a few guesses. 1. The Pegulas are very involved in taking over the team. As time goes on they get a better understanding and firmer grip. Along the way as they get control people become expendable. Russ Brandon. 2. Russ Brandon might of actually become so bad in how he conducts himself that it was toxic to the environment. So they let him go and Kim stands in as a figured head. The signs of the owners taking over and the fact the team did break the drought only leaves me with positive feelings. I'm feeling the payoff is coming the next few years.

I would not do that. Plus getting to #4 would still have put Beane in the same boat in hindsight. It would of still been Rosen or Allen. I just wouldn't trade Tre White either because he has already proven he can play. The only thing Beane could of done was jump the Jets and get Darnold. I don't think that was available for the right price. Plus I always hated the idea of trading to pick #4. I said it a few times.

Colin Kaepernick had a good run. I do believe that he wanted to do the right thing. To bring an awareness to his cause. The thing I think he did wrong was pushed to hard for attention and didn't deliver the message in the best way possible. As in I think after he did it some and sent the message and got Attention he should of went back to normal but rallie his supporters in another forum other then football. That would of been a better game plan. I think Johnny Manziel made the mistake of going into the game not balenced. He also went to a team that hasn't been good. I can believe some one like him could turn it around and use that potential. I thought the CFL was a good route to sneak back in. I really don't have anything against either of those guys. I really have no opinion either of them except better choices could of been made possibly. If your goal is to send a message Kaepernick did that. So he did achieve his goal. In a lot of ways things did kinda change if it's in the discussion. Kudos to him for achieving that.

I think Bean and the Bills explored every option. Then I think they took what they felt was the best of the last two remaining top 4 QBs. I absolutely understand if people had their hearts set on Rosen. Josh Allen is Buffalo and I think Beane knows he will have to answer for it. Especially if Rosen has success and Josh Allen doesn't. They chose some one they think they can coach up who has measurables. They sacrificed a lot to lead up to Josh Allen. So I don't think they made the pick lightly. I think with Josh Allen that he will make plays when his time comes. The amount of success I can't predict. I hope they don't put him in next season. I understand people that do want him in. I just rather see what they have figured out on offense with AJ before you start your Rookie at least.

Well I've heard around that we got AJ for peanuts. So if he's not a fit it wasn't a costly experiment. I'm a little skeptical about how it will turn out although I do believe he earns the starting job. I'm in wait and see mode but kinda expecting the horse will trip out of the starting gate.

I really don't think anything changed besides adding a mod to enforce rules and be active. You don't just add moderators for no reason. I wouldn't assume that something is happening against what SDS wants. What if a new mod was added because things were getting messy and not just to reward some one that has been on the forum. Like bringing in a new mod actually is supposed to serve a purpose. I think a lot of forums are reluctant to add moderators because in a lot of ways you have to trust that mod will not make you look bad. When I first came to this board I thought Hopeful was a mod just because how he posted, so him becoming one is no surprise to me. I agree that not every similar thread needs a merge. I also think a lot of threads created could of been put in an existing thread. How many different Josh Allen or Rus Brandon threads do we really need?

That would be so epic. From 5 interceptions to 5 Superbowls Nate Peterman. The guy everybody said was pure garbage. The guy everybody was sleeping on. Just imagine the looks on people faces if that happens.

I honestly think what you seen was the result of an organization being taken over and run by the owners. It looks like to me Kim wants to be involved. What if Russ Brandon was kept because he does know his job. What if Kim was learning the job and she felt confident enough to take it over. Then Russ Brandon becomes expendable and you always have an out with him. If you owned a football team a few years you might of had some time to learn things if you want to. You probably wouldn't tell someone that your just very involved because one day you want to replace them. You leave them comfortable and soak up the knowledge. Honestly I always had this feeling that Kim would be involved. I'm just seeing in manifest itself more now. It went from buying the team to now a more complete take over. It's a good thing.

I like the idea of being proactive. It is a good look. I have a feeling that now the people taking over the team are more settled in and can build a winning culture. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to buy a football team and how long it would take to settle in and really own it.

I'm skeptical of AJ being great on the Bills. If that does happen then at least you have an answer. That is what every one would want. I am assuming by great we talking him securing his place. Like coming from behind. Not stalling out frequently. Moving the chains. I will go buy his jersey and wear it. My prediction is that he turns out to be average. I would be plessently surprised if Daboll and Aj could turn some heads and I would give tons of credit for getting it together so fast. I want to be optimistic. I hope how I feel is wrong. I hope the horse doesn't trip outside the gate. If AJ doesn't do well I will be understanding. Dissapointed but you play the cards your dealt. Although I do think it's possible to AJ to develop a rythm and win games. I'll be rooting for it.

I can't remember exactly but I remember seeing something about the percentage of drafted QBs turning out being good for the Brows is bad.

I think St Doug has proven himself. I think he bounced on Buffalo because he knew the issues and they wouldn't give him the power to correct it. He didn't want to get sabotaged. He is power hungry but guys like that win. I respect it. I like McDermott as well. I respect them both. They made some Playoffs.

Actually my comment about the disrespect wasn't really directed at you. Asking the question innocently out of genuine curiosity is ok. In a way it's calling out the credibility of a person. That in a way could be disrespectful. What if behind the scenes she really was becoming an influencing figure. What if she was taking over duties Russ was slacking on and learning the position. What if they did plan ahead before they canned Russ Brandon and already had her installed in many ways before they fired him. The only person I think really should ask if some one is qualified for the job is the person hiring them.

I like that Josh Allen has size. That means he might come with durability. I like that people say he can be athletic. Yes I seen the criticism on some of the plays that they showed. He could of made some better choices on some of the plays. So he has some learning to do. It might not be a hot start for Allen. Then I see on some of the plays that he actually can make good decisions and really can make perfect plays. So at the very least he is capable of doing the right things at least sometimes. It left me more motivated about the pick. You drafted the body of NFL QB that might be able to learn to make NFL plays. So they are betting on being able to to coach him up. He scored good on tests. Shows intelligence. I am in favor of this pick now. I'm a Josh Allen fan. He has potential to be franchise. I think Mayfield on the Browns is a bust no matter what statistics wise. So that leaves the Darnold vs Allen rivalry as each one fights for the top of the division next few years and the Patriots fall off the map because Tom Brady is very old. Oh and Rosen turns out to be to weak for the NFL.

I think each team should start from the 10 yard line. Skip kick-off I'm over it. The captains could also rock paper scissors and if you win you start at the 20 yard line.

I mean yes you want both organizations run correctly. I think they wanted to possibly combine both organizations using Russ Brandon so everything would be streamlined for them. Only for reasons Russ Brandon isn't that guy anymore. So Kim is the one stepping in for Russ Brandon. I mean it's not impossible to think she maybe was learning everything behind the scenes and being very involved already.

The only thing I can say went very wrong was Rex Ryan. I liked St Doug and I kinda dissapointed they missed out on that opportunity. I think they may of hit a home run with Sean McDermott. So I am willing to forget Rex Ryan and not taking St. Doug more serious.

Honestly to me it doesn't matter how she got to the place she got. If I read her story correct she was abandoned and adopted. That already is a rough start. The only thing that matters to me is that Kim Pegula loves the Bills. I believe she does. I already believe she has had an influence on the team. If I have my thoughts right then she is probably over qualified for the position. So I do not question her taking a position that was being run improperly. That is so much better then the status quo. Yes I can understand you getting mad over people being disrespectful about her. I'm not happy about it either. To assume she is just the trophy wife and that she can't handle power is not a smart take. I assume she has had a huge influence all along. This team is her baby and I respect that. Russ Brandon didn't. It's stupid to think that Kim doesn't love her toy and can't learn how to operate it.

I love the comparisons people have of Russ Brandon and Terry Pegula. One guy owns a business, the other guy just held a powerful position. One guy is married to the girl the other guy is cheating on his wife. I love mental gymnastics people are doing.
