  1. So I guess the smart thing to do is not date her in the first place. Oh but that cookie so sweet.
  2. He did what many before him couldn't do. He made it rain on the drought. He did that in his first year as a HC after a fire sale of players. When people thought it was doom the team trended up. I live in the real world. The drought was broken. McDermott is amazing.
  3. I don't think it was a mistake. Tyrod needed to be benched. It felt real good. I appreciate the benching a lot. I'll enjoy seeing him benched again in Cleveland next season. It effected nothing. We got to see what we had in Peterman and Tyrod still got to play his 3 point playoff game. 3 point games and 5 interception games. Not a whole lot going on in either direction but at least I got to look both ways. I'll never have to wonder. I'll never have to say well what if we started Peterman!!?!?! The only way AJ will stick around is if he moves the chains and scores points. Until that happens he is just a cheap option that will hold the fort down until the team finds a QB that can. There is no commitment to Peterman, AJ or Allen. I only hope we commit to the guy that can play QB like a boss. Why anybody cares about how a guy feels in the future who hasn't even played a game yet for the Bills is mind boggling. Whoever plays QB like a Boss will get what they want. They will have some say about things if and when that happens. This is a earn it first culture now. Besides anybody playing the position adequately isn't getting benched. Tyrod wasn't plain and simple fact. So he got benched. Peterman sucking didn't make Tyrod good it just made him better then a guy throwing 5 interceptions that is all.
  4. I love Tre White. Shady and Tre are my two favorite Bills right now. All I wanted was a Tre White interception of Tom Brady and I got it.
  5. I am to much of a fan of McDermott to entertain doubt right now. He met and exceeded my expectations in his first season as a head coach. A few of the players dissapointed me but they are not Bills anymore. Now it's season #2 and I have my personal expectations set just a little bit higher. I'm just waiting to see if he can deliver again. I have confidence if he will.
  6. I really have enjoyed my interactions with other posters. I never hold grudges and take anything personally. I just come for the news and discourse. I think the board is well run. If situations have become problematic I didn't even notice. I probably wouldn't have a clue as to who was acting as a high maintenance poster. I enjoy the different personalities. It's like different ingredients to a full meal. The only real complaint I could make is how the political and racial climate causes a division between people. Unfortunately those real world problems exist and people will have strong feelings about them. So I'm not expecting that to go away. I just would hope that people realize that we should be able to unite under the common interest of being Bills fans and football fans in general. When it comes to that we should put those things aside and realize we all bleed Buffalo red, white and blue. I'd rather break bread and talk Bills football and leave those personal agendas out of it. Just my thoughts.
  7. I don't know. I just type and let the auto fill work it's magic. It is funny you caught that.
  8. The only reason we can even have this conversation is because the offense last season had a potential to stall to a complete stop. In my opinion it was the weak link in the chain. I understand why it had to be that way being a team in transition and all. Tyrod and Dennison are gone so I'm assuming McDermott found the fault with them. I want to see what this next season brings but I'm fully expecting that if the defense is a monster we have a more opportunistic offence on the field. The offense was so bad the game plan was to hold any lead and ride the defense. The game plan should of been to capitalize on every turn over and score as many points as possible even if you have a commanding. At least move the chains and grind the clock. I have higher expectations of the offense this season because I feel last seasons offense was unacceptable. Jaguars and Panthers games are the only exhibit A and B I need. You can talk up Tyrod all day and he does have flashes but it also was a flash in the pan.
  9. The NFL is a very aggressive game in nature and people lay down hard hits and take hard hits. It's bound to take a toll on the mind and body. That is why people make millions of dollars. My level of respect and sympathy is based completely on the fact that people have a choice to play the game. It's entertainment for me. People will live and die by thier own swords. I didn't enjoy the money made, I won't suffer the consequences of the damage done. I just watch the game and I fully understand that it's going to mess some people up. If being concerned about consequences was important I would tell people not to play the game. I would tell people not to get into boxing or racing cars. I would tell people not to base jump or parachute out of planes. I don't do that because I'm not responsible for them. I am not personal friend. I'm a fan. I choose to watch the stupid things people do for entertainment and I enjoy it a lot. I don't feel guilty for feeling this way because I don't force anybody to do anything, I just observe it in action. I only say this because I really feel that some people see people play with fire by choice and get burned then attempt to make excuses for it. I wish they wouldn't. It was up to the personal friends and family to intervene before it was to late. They didn't.
  10. Well I've accepted the Josh Allen pick came with criticism. I was shocked that Beane picked the guy that would come with that baggage. I don't think he made the easy pick but I think in his mind and his reputation on the line he made the right pick. I'm supportive with a lot of understanding that people will question it.
  11. Failure was to strong of a word. AJ has the experience and talent to be a backup but he will have to prove he can be a starter. It could very well be another season of a backup QB pretending to be a starting QB. He didn't fail as a starter because he failed to become one until now is what I meant for him. Going to the team with a QB situation like ours isn't exactly grabbing the bull by the horns and beating out a proven guy. I'll cut Peterman some slack, but he hasn't finished a game he's started in, so him just finishing an entire game would be progress. Josh Allen as far as the NFL goes is unknown. The only guy that hasn't started a game in the NFL at NFL speeds. He wasn't in a game in the NFL and got benched. He wasn't a backup for years plucked off another team. That's all I meant really. I hope one of them can be stellar and cement the role. Two guys have had thier foot in the door longer then Allen has though so his unknown factor is intriguing. Two of our QBs have have more opportunity. I support all 3 but am interested mostly in the guy who hasn't had an opportunity yet.
  12. We shouldn't as Bills fans embrace the positive media? I'm having trouble seeing your goal in this. So people are obligated to say nice things so it automatically means they couldn't possibly mean it? I really understand your point but it doesn't exactly mean it's concrete that what they said wasn't genuine and real. Smashing a 17 year drought means nothing and it's what have you done for me lately when a single game hasn't been played since the last Playoff game. We really seeking to debate weather the statements are genuine or obligated responses and that's fine I guess. If we agree it's just a fluff piece then we should all agree to ignore any good media because the evil news is trying to trick us into believing in our team so we can have our hearts shanked when our team sucks. Welcome to fandom.
  13. It's because they miss Russ Brandon and the losing culture of the past. Don't worry about the few hold outs, most of us have moved on and embraced the future. They don't think a woman can be President and anything positive about Kim is a threat to thier little manhood's. I won't debate with them because they only wish to negate the good instead of offer proof of the bad. That's why i don't waste my time. They don't know Kim and they don't offer enough specifics about what is going on behind the scenes for me to even take seriously. If they think Kim isn't good enough it's on them to provide the proof. If the best they can do is poo poo on the positive stuff then why engage. Until they can offer the specifics of day to day operation and exactly how Kim and Terry are not performing those duty's then they provided nothing but resistance to the new era and the winning culture that has risen from the ashes of a dought riddled team.
  14. Besides a 3 game meltdown the defense played well enough to get us into the playoffs and even advance past the Jaguars. I'm so glad we moved on from that offense last season. So terrible.
  15. I'm thinking once the salary cap situation clears up that talent will be aquired. At least I agree with those on this message board that feel that way. Just playing with the cards that got dealt trying to make a hand out of it. I actually planned on last year being a year of understanding and the drought was busted. I plan on making this season one of understanding, maybe we get to the Superbowl.
  16. Let me ask you a question about a hypothetical. Let's say Allen is clearly the best QB coming out of camp but other players on the offence are not performing to expectations. Do you still start him? I won't judge your answer I am genuinely interested in the answer.
  17. Well mostly but not completely. If the coaches of the team are confident that Dabolls scheme is firmly in place and can be successful with Josh Allen as the starter then why wait, start him.
  18. Well for people like me that strongly believe in the owners and staff, this is just more welcome positive news.
  19. I understand that. If he starts and gets injured for the season behind a weak offensive line then the criticism on starting him will be justified. If the receivers can't get separation and he is forced to run for his life and can't get settled in then the criticism for starting him would be justified. The same if the passes are rushed and tipped to the other team. Not saying anything bad will happen but starting him to me means that the offense around him is built to win as well. If not sacrifice AJ for the season and save reputations. I wanna know if Allen is struggling it's because he is at fault. I don't want excuses about the o-line or WRs. I want the situation around him set up so he can be successful. I'm greedy. I want an entire offenseive system and not just focused completely on QB. Especially a rookie.
  20. My expectations is that is he starts the experiment begins and Allen stays the starter until the experiment is over regulardless of the outcome. If you start him and he gets killed I won't be listening to excuses because I wanted the team to be patient and not start him until everything around him was ready as well as him being fully ready for the NFL.
  21. Best case scenario is any of them becoming a franchise QB for the Bills. Although it's most likely Allen because he's the only one that hasn't failed a shot because he hasn't had a shot yet.
  22. If some one wanted Rosen before the draft I don't expect them to change thier minds. I guess I should get used to it. Rosen could be the better of the QBs between him and Allen. A person can think Rosen is good without assuming that Allen won't be. At least this early in the situation. I don't think it's automatic that if one is good the other is bad. I'm just getting that impression from people. They both could be good and they both could bust. That's a possibility as well.
  23. Well it is kinda getting annoying people are stressing Rosen when not a single game has been played. You can probably go to a Cardinals fan board and salivate over him and make a few friends. Yes if Rosen is winning games and Allen is busting then people can grab the pitchforks and meet little resistance. Like I said before people are jumping the gun.
  24. I don't remember seeing the offense on the field longer then 3 plays at a time last season. I'm just joking (probably). Interesting conversation guys I just don't know as much about it.
