What If Rex Never Was Hired & Schwartz was The HC ?

What if St Doug hadn't quit.... ? -
I appreciate the Bengals for securing thier side of it. That's about all it ever was for me. I also thought what the Bills fans did was very classy. The Bengals didn't play the entire season for the Bills. The Bills crawled into the best case worse case scenario. So I walked away thinking McDermott and the Bills made the playoffs. The team didn't luck into the playoffs. They fought the entire way. The team had weak links in the chain but also some bright spots. It was only ever about the Bills making the playoffs for me.

Jets 4th Round TE Herndon - DUI Major Accident

It's like playing a game of Russian Roulette with people that didn't know they were in the game. That's what bugs me is that it puts other peoples lives at risk. -
Lets Check Back To Reality On The Bills Defense
Lfod replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The reality for me is the defense was entertaining when the offense was boring stalling out and living on the sideline. I'm not living in any reality our defense won't be at least very good if not spectacular. They got the job done. Held the Jaguars to 10 points bro, that was reality to me. -

More wins in 2018, Browns or Bills?
Lfod replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just to let you all know when the Bills win more games then the Browns I won't ever let you forget what you said. You will forever be known as Browns fans. It's my duty as a Bills fan. Don't think that admitting you were wrong will make it ok. You will never be taken seriously again. Not by me. -
I'm not thinking playoffs this season. I'm not ruling it out either. It's not about playoffs to me right now. I want a well run team so I don't feel incompetent managment is why the team fell short. I've seen people pushing for Allen to start this season and I am not. I do want a franchise QB but it doesn't have to be specifically Allen as long as it's somebody. So if Allen didn't work out and they found some one who did I wouldn't care. It could be Peterman for all I care if he's lighting up the field. Just making an extreme point when mentioning Peterman. I'm not worried about how other people choose to be fans. Some Bills fans are praising the Browns. Fans that are not loyal don't really deserve to be called Bills fans. I've bought into the culture. As long as that culture is in tact and this team plays with heart I will be supportive. I will be dissapointed in a loss but satisfied that it was a hard fought game with passion. I will love 100% even if it didn't win that day. The other teams are trying to win for thier fans too. They can call for McBeanes head and I'll be right here in disagreement. I feel comfortable with McDermott and Beane. I won't be ready to wave the white flag until the fat lady sings.

If the defense didn't force turnovers as much as it did, do you think the Bills would have won as many games? I would like to see what another QB does with that many extra possessions in games. -

I agree. Especially if he is just answering questions being asked to him. I think it's redundant to keep asking him questions about Buffalo. I really believe he was doing the best he could do for the team. It just wasn't good enough and I still would of rather had the 3rd round pick. I believe he will do his best for the Cleveland Browns and I still don't think it will be good enough to secure any kind of job security. I may not have liked Tyrod the QB but I have a ton of respect for Tyrod the person. I think people should keep in mind that at least the guy loved the Bills and wanted to be our starting QB and probably still wishes he was. I personally draw the line and criticism of Tyrod the human being. He is a great individual. I really wish he was more successful in Buffalo in his time here. -

Good luck in the factory of sadness. You let me down in the Panthers and Jaguars games. I would rather have the 3rd round pick then sit through another game the defense wins for you. I don't hold a grudge against you. Turn it up in Cleveland if your so good. Although I mean people should quit asking him about Buffalo. It's like asking a dude about his hot ex girlfriend when he's with the new ugly one. -
NYC politician wants Bills+Giants to adopt Jets Anthem policy
Lfod replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well CKs kneeling protest definitely got attention. It's still a discussion today. I really have no issue with it. I really have no issue with it continuing to happen. I just have a fear that in some ways it may cause a bigger division between people because the different interpretation of the meaning behind it. If positive change has come from the kneeling protest for people then it served a purpose. I think it did a bit of both. I think it brought positive change and came with negative distraction. Sometimes a thing can be over done. I'm not saying it has been just saying it can be. -

No I think the societal issue exist. I mean I linked an article about Starbucks. I could mention the recent Roseanne Barr incident. I've been paying attention. I don't think it's overshadowed the real issue. I was just hoping we could be intellectually honest with each other for a moment and step away from personal biases. The kneeling doesn't represent the same message for everyone. I really wish it could. I hope you understand I'm trying to put myself in other people's shoes. See it from both sides. The very essence of equality and fairness is respecting or at least understanding all points of view. If you really knew me you would definitely understand I take no sides and hold no allegiance. I couldn't tell you I know what it's like to be discriminated against. I couldn't tell you I know what it's like to feel patriotic either. I can only tell you I'm scared for humanity. I don't see it being resolved in compromise. -

Was it possible to promote a message and support a cause without causing a controversy and division that still exist today? If there was a way that should of been the action taken. -

Well just from my observation the subject being discussed is about kneeling and not about police brutality. The focus in the news is on the kneeling and not the police brutality. The focus of the very statement that spawned this post was about the kneeling and not on the police brutality. I don't see how you can think the message wasn't lost. Has the guy who made the statement about the Bills being like the Jets done anything about police brutality? Has he mad a peep or caused a single reform? No it's about effecting the kneeling process. I would think the focus should be about creating policy to effect the police brutality. I mean if that's what mattered to me. Kneeling seems more important now. So yea the message has been scrambled up in my opinion. I think the solution is that you have police do the same thing as Starbucks and everyone agrees to chill out. At least Starbucks is trying to do something about thier screw up. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/650316002&ved=2ahUKEwjNxqz4mLTbAhWDk1kKHQffDQYQFjAOegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw0up8gXoYv0JkxeNtnQkioK&ampcf=1 In fact I should probably bow out now because I'm going off topic because this is absolutely just a subject about players kneeling in the NFL. I don't want to get a warning. -

I can understand if some one lost a loved one to police brutality and felt strongly about it. I won't discount thier feelings. I had edited my post to reflect that thier feelings should absolutely matter. That is what I said above. CK was heard. He sacrificed his career to send his message. His message was honorable, only in the way it happened some people felt disrespected. If you look at it without bias at all then it would go back to my original post. Both sides want respect. Both sides felt disrespected. I'm not talking about justification. I'm talking about preception of the subject. The message was lost if the focus is on the kneeling and not the police brutality you dig? If I asked CK what he wanted to be remembered for, raising awareness or kneeling during anthem I don't think the kneeling part would be as important as the actual message. The kneeling was a gimmick to get attention brought to the subject. -

If you were very Patriotic, and those people do exist then it could have special meaning to you. Like say your son or brother joined the military and lost his life in battle. Let's say you yourself fought for the country in a war and lost your legs and lived in a wheelchair. The National Anthem. The way people rise with a hand to heart might represent your sacrifice or your son or brothers. To some it's just a song or ritual. To others it's lost limbs and family members. I don't think CKs intention was to dishonor those people. CK just wanted to have his message heard. He was successful. Although I can understand if some one lost a loved one to police brutality and felt strongly about it. I won't discount thier feelings. Personally I feel blessed to have suffered none of those things. -

That's because you don't believe it in the same way that those people do. To be honest neither do I, but I won't dismiss thier belief in it just because I don't feel the same way. Just as not everyone suffers police brutality and just because of that they shouldn't dismiss it doesn't exist. -

I find myself in a grey area. I do understand that this world has problems and if people want to combat those problems, I won't stand in the way. I just won't be dragged into a fight that isn't mine. You won't find me being a part of the division or taking sides. I believe strongly in freedom, but I call it free will. I think the issue is that both sides want to be respected and both sides are disrespectful to each other. Therefore I see no innocent people in the fight and I don't see the honor in either cause. After all this time no common ground was agreed upon. It's as simple as yes I can agree a group of people have been wronged, but in you sending that message you wronged another group of people. That is why my prediction is that the solution won't be found. -

Thanks for the response. I was asking those questions because I really didn't know. I knew that Watson had been getting praise but I wasn't sure how similar the circumstances had been when Yolo mentioned it. Sounds to be a bit more similar then I had thought. I only want Allen to be successful. That is my why I had formulated the opinion I have. I just want the team to do the best thing with the Allen investment. It's kinda important to me and I imagine it is to the team as well. If starting Allen this season is going to be the best outcome for him and the team then I could only be for it. I just would rather have Allen start because the team is comfortable and not making the choice in haste. I read another response about Allen from Gunner. I really was asking questions I didn't know. I am thankful for the knowledge of the situation. It makes for a deeper discussion. It relaxes my position on Allen starting. My only real desire is that Allen can be successful. I am a patient person. Trust me I want to see Allen start just as bad as anyone. I just don't want to see the investment fail.
