  1. Soft in the trenches. Looks worse with Star and Brown out, but we don’t grind out wins in bad weather or respond to adversity at all really. AFC is wide open, so there’s hope but I say not with this O line. Allen forced the ball today, but I’ll still defend his play or at least his aggressive mind set. You saw the Colts line today open up lanes and give Taylor 3+ yards before we was touched. I don’t think our backs are the problem. The best argument that systems and o- lines make the running game might be made by fantasy football. When Dalvin Cook is out, everyone picks up Mattison and he delivers, San Fran has success with guys you’ve never heard of, Adrian Peterson averaged 4 YPC today. We can’t run the ball against 2 high safeties.
  2. I actually prefer to have a torn ACL when I start a new squat routine, isolates the quads.
  3. Allen has to do everything for this offense. The RBs have no holes and he doesn’t have time to go through his progressions. If he wasn’t so elusive we would rarely execute on 3rd and long. I’m sure Diggs and Sanders are open downfield. He needs a pocket to find them. Of course, he plays too much hero ball but it’s because it’s him or no one.
  4. Zone D can be frustrating to watch as a fan but it keeps everything in front of the safeties. Most WR routes are option routes, so in man they can make a move to get open, unless they are blanketed by one of the few elite corners in the league. The Bills D is a disciplined, conservative D that forces the offense to have a long, sustained drive with multiple 3rd down conversions to score. I think they are executing Leslie Frazier’s vision to a T. We could use more sacks, that would elevate the D to the elite status.
  5. Weird that they played him so much last night. He was open a few times for big plays and Hurts missed him.
  6. Beanie has stated before they bring guys in to get a look and have some data on them in case of a future injury. With the veteran PS rule changes this year, maybe they can sign him to PS and let him learn the system and get in shape for future use. I can see why the NFLPA pushes back so hard on 17 and 18 game schedules. The season is grueling.
  7. This loss is on me. I cracked my first Blue Light tall can of the day at 12:57 pm, went to set it down, dropped it, it landed upside down, and spilled everywhere. It was a bad Oman to start the game.
  8. Did everyone here think we were gonna lead every second every game this year? 11 minutes left.
  9. Homemade pizza on the Traeger. Buffalo wing dip. Blue light tall cans.
  10. Most fans just know follow the bias in the media of the player. The media was brutal on Allen before last year and most people thought he was terrible. Bills fans that watched every snap saw an ascending talent. I didn’t realize how many people didn’t think he would get a second contract until the topic on this board posted their crazy Twitter posts. If you want him, you gotta go rounds 2-5, I waited too long.
  11. A 6th will do. Webb on the PS and find another backup next year. In the “Super Bowl window” we need a high end back up.
  12. Perfect technique, head up, did not not use crown of helmet as a weapon but unfortunately they are the same height and Field turned into it. He was completely unblocked, so difficult to adjust at full speed. I’m all for protecting QBs, they game is tough to watch with most back-ups, but there was no malicious intent with that hit. Definitely a penalty in today’s NFL but I also dislike QBs dancing around with no repercussions.
  13. I had Allen and Murray last year. This year I have a disgruntled Aaron Rodgers.
  14. 5 hours. Had season tickets pre-kids. Lots of road trips for Checkdown Trent, JP, and Fitz, but I was at the win over NE. Tough drive back after those Browns games.
  15. If a vet corner is cut to save salary off a bad team, absolutely yes. He’ll take a month to learn the D then compete with Levi. We’ve dodged the injury bug for a couple years now. Depth built in September wins in the playoffs
  16. Jairus Byrd. Turned out to be a short term investment. Bought at the Toronto game where they got destroyed by Seattle.
  17. The Vikings fans I know, compared Diggs to Percy Harvin before last year calling him a diva. Turns out he was right to be frustrated at the lack of targets. #1 WR’s are naturally going to want the ball every play because they know they are consistently beating their man. You’d think Cousins would have locked in on him. Probably shows how much better Josh Allen is, and they’re just getting started
  18. Proof of a successful program. There’s no such thing as a Rex Ryan coaching tree. McBeane puts good people in positions to succeed.
  19. Tyrod was signed as a FA, then traded for the first pick in the 2018 3rd round. The was Cleveland’s original pick. How was that involved in previous transactions?
  20. Agree on Gilmore. His last year here, he refused to tackle anyone. He quit on the team to make sure he got the next contract.
  21. Agreed. He’s a process guy to a T. Big time players make big time plays in big time games. He still does that. He can be productive for 2-3 years and be a difference maker on the d-line, something we’ve been lacking.
  22. Aflac for injuries sustained by jumping through tables? Seriously, feed me some rumors at least.
  23. If Pepsi books stadium rights, that could be a big one
  24. Agreed. I’m in Eastern NY (Troy area), is he all over local commercials?
  25. It is bizarre he doesn’t have one. Even Tua has one. Cam has one. I don’t need one to vindicate him or whatever but jeez, why no love?
