  1. I was watching the NC state v UCONN game on CBSSports and switched to ESPN for Florida v Utah only to find a blank screen. It took a few minutes to realize it was a Spectrum Disney dispute that impacts a lot of channels I watch on Spectrum. Coming at the beginning of college football season really bites. Spectrum just raised prices too. Both Disney and Spectrum are to blame with us customers caught in the crosshairs. Hopefully it will get resolved soon. Either way Spectrum will raise our prices, as will all the streaming services. So for tonight, I'm between CBSS and Fox (which is showing Nebraska v Minnesota).
  2. He still has to take his physical with the team. Beane mentioned he is coming.
  3. DJ Dale was not on the confirmed Bills list. I think he was reported in error.
  4. I think we also have to take into account where the Bills draft relative to these top ten picks. The Bills draft in the 20's when many of the "sure fire" picks are long gone.
  5. They aren't exactly in midseason form when it comes to website updates.
  6. I believe they do.
  7. Yes. It must have been a reporting error. We signed Vickers to the PS not DJ Dale. Both are DTs. I was surprised when I saw Dales over Vickers. Vickers had a better camp from what I understand. So...we officially have 14 on the PS with 2 vacancies. One for Kirksey and the other for the QB.
  8. Beane mentioned they are working on signing a QB. Kirksey needs to take his physical, that will put 15 on the PS with one vacancy. 16 total.
  9. Doesn't surprise me at all. Watched their last preseason game and he played late into the second half. Doesn't get separation in his routes. He's not crisp.
  10. According to Beane during his interview on Saturday, Bernard will be back soon. Temporarily. He'll be back tomorrow after they stow Shorter on the IR.
  11. There was a woman who called into One Bills Live today (She goes by the name of Marie and is a regular caller.) She suggested all of this and of course, Brown and Tasker disagreed.
  12. Beane is "damned if he does and damned if he doesn't" on this board. Boogie was playing well in the preseason...but against second and third string players. No one liked the Epenesa or Basham picks...because neither of these guys were Von Miller. However, if you watched college football, both were solid pass rushers and were predicted to go in the top 3 rounds of the draft. For the Bills, we rotate our lineman, so we need depth on the D line (which BTW at the time was devoid of players). When we got Floyd in the off season, that meant likely not all of our current pass rushers would make the team...even with Von on PUP. So we trade Basham...who has been maligned as a wasted pick...but not for anything great. (If he hasn't been that great, what would you expect?) Had we just released him, folks would have complained we should have traded him "and gotten something for him." So Beane did trade him and freed up a bit of cap space in the process. Beane is not perfect...but I'm still happy he is our GM. This team is better because of him...not worse...even with "failed" draft picks.
  13. Chris Brown actually said the source (which I actually saw on Twitter) was not anyone he had heard of and questioned the reliability. However I do agree that both he and Tasker concluded it would likely be Miami...and pretty much for the reason you cited.
  14. Sanders has been sidelined with a groin injury. I'm not certain Hubbard or Blackshear could carry the backfield if Sanders goes down.
  15. Phins are definitely in the mix. I'm just spit balling but do you think Frank Reich would like him in Carolina to benefit his young QB?
  16. So you put him on the practice squad, and say he still needs more time in his recovery.
  17. I'd keep Cam Lewis over Damar Hamlin at this point. As much as we loved Damar, he was awful versus the Bears, missing tackles left and right. Lewis gives us more flexibility and is a harder hitter when tackling.
  18. I'd take a 3rd or 4th to take Peterman off their hand.
  19. Some guy...who knows...obvious dolphin fan, posted on Twitter.
  20. I don't think the Bills get rid of any of their 4 outside corners. Heck, last year they all ended up playing! I think keeping all four gives them flexibility. Elam proved his value last year in the real games. Depending on the team, Elam being a solid man-to-man corner could be put on a certain receiver in a game, to take that player out.
  21. Viewing from the defense left to right...but technically I did.
  22. Morse played one series. He sat after Josh and Diggs left the game.
  23. They looked steady today. No major gaffs. It was good to see Edwards subbed nicely for McGovern and Bates for Morse. Quess didn't play badly at LT though he was called for a penalty. Van Demark not as solid at RT as he is at LT. Anderson was moved all over.
  24. Brown, Torrence, Morse, Edwards and Dawkins. They played well.
